I have to say - I'm not normally picky but without exaggerating, the room was as if it had not been dusted for weeks. On the bed side table and coffee table the dust was so thick I could actually write my name in it! I laughed to start with but realised that this is basic cleaning which seems to have not been done.

The beautiful location and the staff were very nice and extremely polite and helpful. Nice large bed and tea and biscuits provided in the room. The corridors were cramped making it appear more bed and breakfast than hotel. The room needed a few touches. Wall paper slightly ripped and peeling on one wall and paint chipped here and there. No net curtains in the room. Room overlooked by houses so curtains had to remain closed. Windows opened but did not hold in one position.

Visit tarnished by dirty/used teacup and tea & teabag still in teapot. Also room service banging on door at 9:45 on morning of departure 'asking' what time you leave? - not quite the service I am used to receiving from a 4* hotel

Good communication with staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Food good. View at the front good. The privacy.Sauna nice and indoor swimming pool cosy Drinks bar fair and relaxing. Breakfast good and Well served by staff Noisy from children above especially to Beauclerk room. Hotel room and furniture needs to be updated. Bathroom need a complete revamp with power shower Reception area dusty especially around reception seating area (cobwebs to fireplace and dried flowers). Corridor very noisy with children and door slamming (especially early morning and late evenings). Bathroom towels were not always changed. No drinking water for making tea and nowhere to plug kettle unless placed on the floor.

If you are looking for a break from it all, this is ideal. Lovely gardens, langleys restaurant is excellent and a heated indoor swimming pool. It was such a shame, but the wardrobe in our room let it down. We were only staying one night, but if longer it would have driven us made. Felt sorry for anybody above and below our room. The doors kept coming off the rail and the drawers were very difficult to open and close. Not ideal if you have difficulty walking or need to push a wheelchair, quite a steep walk to the hotel from the harbour, which takes approx 15 mins. Overall though a really nice place to stay.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful set in beautiful grounds and in close proximity to the beach and not too far from town (£4.00 taxi ride). The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was really nice, although we were at the back and there wasn't a view, that didn't spoil our stay. Overall the experience was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have had a superb holiday at the Osborne Hotel. The food has been first class, absolutely delicious, served in a beautiful Restaurant. The Staff have been most attentive and courtious and the Suite we had was lovely with a Balcony to enjoy the view. Location was superb,we could not fault the Hotel in any way,and the leisure facilities were excellent. We certainly hope to stay there again next year. We did upgrade to a suite !

The breakfast was ok Small musty room at the end of endless corridors. Kept awake by people in nearby rooms until 3.30 am. Chipped cups in room ,all looked stale and general air of mustiness. My son coughed and sneezed all night. wouldnt stay here again if I was paid to.

It was nice , very close to sea. Staff was friendly . They helped us to know about local attractions. Have ample parking space & which was secured. The room where we stayed was smelly initially , then manager came & sprayed something & since then it was ok, anyway still authority need to check dampness of this building , funny thing this though this hotel very close to sea but none of their room is face towards sea view which is main problem of this hotel.
