Staff were not helpful and rooms at front are very noizy

dirty carpets, too much airfreshnesr, you can see lift has not worked for a long time and they are not bothering to fix it.

I liked the hotel: friendly staff, good service, tasty breakfest. Location is perfect - close to bus station (o problem with travelling to Glasgo or Stirling) and to the city center.

Lift was out of work (it was big problem becouse I had heavy luggage). Furnishings are very poor, but it was ok for that price.

The location in Edinburgh is great, with a short walk to the castle and other downtown locations. The cost of the room was very low as well.

Being on a major street, it was a bit noisy.

Very basic, but warm and clean.

Room overlooking main road so quite noisy.

Leaving it was quite good, but unfortunately without much breakfast as the kitchen staff were late setting it out. To add insult to injury, the waitress went to take the orders foe a large group who had just come into the dining room! I certainly won't give this hotel my custom again!

Its a very old fashioned hotel, but lacks the quaintness of charm. Needs a lot of TLC. The staff are badly trained and don't know the first thing about customer service! I wouldn't recommend it. If breakfast is at 8am then it should be ready at 8am, not 8.20am! And customers orders should be taken in the order they appear! Not taking a group of 8 who have just come in before others who have been waiting! They should train their staff!

i have stayed here before and find it great for being near the centre, also the cleanliness

The staff were really friendly. The room was clean & comfortable considering the reasonable price. Breakfast was tasty & efficiently served & always with a smile

The traffic noise was awful...felt like I was trying to nod off on the central reservation of the M8!

La posizione non e' male; abbastanza vicina al centro; ottima colzione, abbondante e varia

Struttura vecchia, non c'e' l'ascensore e le scale sono piuttosto ripide. bagno minuscolo e senza miscelatore. riscaldamento sempre spento. pulizia delle camere quasi inesistente (addirittura 1 gg ci hanno lasciato solo gli asciugamani e un sacco della spazzatura fuori dalla porta). Wi fii presente solo a momenti e solo nella hall. televisore vecchio e mal funzionante. mi hanno chiesto 5 pound di deposito per un adattatore di corrente! Rapporto qualita' prezzo scarsissimo. 350 eur per 3 notti con questi servizi e' un'assurdita'.

Los pasillos que conducen a las habitaciones están sucios y son intricados.

Merkeze yakın olması hoşuma giden tek tarafıydı. Gerçi kahvaltısı da fena sayılmazdı.

Yorganları hem temiz görünmüyordu hem de çok eskiydi. Otel genel olarak çok eski. Kahvaltı salonundaki sandalyelere mecbur kalmasam oturmazdım. Sunulanlara oranla fiyatı yüksek bile denilebilir. Banyoda bir priz dahi bulamadım. Odada internet yok. Odadaki su ısıtıc kullanılmayacak vaziyetteydi.Saç kurutma makinesini de resepsiyondan istemak durumundasınız..

Huone olisi voinut olla siistimpi ja aamupala monipuolisempi, hotellin vastaanotossa oli yöllä saapuessamme huonosti englantia puhuva henkilö, joka ei ollut tehtävissään ajan tasalla, ei antanut luotettavaa kuvaa palvelusta.
