The Oscar Lodge was perfect for our one night stay in Windsor as it is a close walk to the high street and it's attractions and restaurants etc, as it was only a 1 night trip, we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel itself, but the bed was comfy and the shower and toilet both worked! The staff were friendly and breakfast was the general continental style that is to be expected. |

Friendly staff, cheapest hotel in Windsor Parking at hotel is a nightmare and it is not clear whether you need to reserve a spot or not. Hotel walls are very thin and so its very hard to get a good night's sleep. |

Excellent location, walking distance to Center of Windsor was only 10 mins. Beautiful place to visit and lots to see and do.Hotel was warm, comfortable and clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good with a lot omn offer - Fruit Juice, Cereals, Boiled Eggs, Cheese, Preserves, Toast, Croissants, Tea & Coffee. Well laid out and it is self service to all guests, simply eat all you want!! You have the key to the main front door and after 9.30pm you just come and go as you please. Excellent Hotel, worth giving it a try!!! This hotel is excellent value for money. What are you looking for? A bed to sleep in and a clean room with shower facilities, tv and Tea / Coffee making facilities, if this is what you want, The oscar lodge has all of this to offer. |

Our room had no wardrobe only a drawer full of coat hangers which were completely useless without a wardrobe. No phone. The fan in the bathroom didn't work so the bathroom and bedroom smelt very odd as the bathroom was obviously had mould. The breakfast was very basic and the breakfast room was something out of a factory canteen. |

Car parking available and a short(ish) walk to the town centre Front entrance needs cleaning. There was a table and chairs for smokers right by the entrance. Both chairs were peeling. The table was unclean. The ashtray was full, and whilst it was emptied later, the ashtray was simply emptied not washed. There was no heating, The window in the room did not close properly. There was no light in the bathroom other than the shaving mirror light. There The bed moved when you sat on it. Room service was available if you asked for it otherwise no clean towels or bed made. All this for £70 per night. I paid for 3 nights but left after the second. |

The breakfast was very good (boiled eggs, white+ browm toast, yoghurts, orange juice, tea, coffee). My room had a kettle, tea bags, coffee powder and a tv. The quality of the house. The windows and walls were very thin, so u could hear everything from outside and it was cold. My room had a problem with mould. There was mould in the bathroom and on the outside walls and window frames. The whole room looked like as if it hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. |

There is nothing to complain about but nothing to shout about either. There is a lovely pub round the corner - not the Mitre I did fine some of the breakfast food abit dry and had to do something funny with the shower to make it work and had to get the guy to show us twice and while walking around there were other places at the same price but alot better quality (Castle Hotel) or cheaper and closer to town |
