We did not know the area so they help order food in after long drive it very nice hotel and staff very friendly thank you
Wish they did cook breakfast that would been nice
Location was good, not too expensive on taxis to get to legoland and a short walk to Windsor. Good for budget travellors
It looked a little in need of decoration, although that didnt really worry us. It was clean and comfortable. though.
The bathroom was damp. If you can choose another room, probably best to do so.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It needs a deep clean throughout the hotel.
Member of staff was friendly
Location was excellent 5 minutes from Windsor castle and town. Great price compared to some alternatives. Tv in room was large. Bed was comfy
Room needed a bit of tender loving care redecoration. Quite noisy, bathroom was very cramped.
Location was excellent
Room was tatty and bathroom was in urgent need of fresh grouting, new tiles and new flooring. Decor was dated and looks like it hasn't been painted for years! Carpet was old and bedding was purple and navy blue.
The staff were rude the rooms were filthy said they shut between 10 until 2 to clean load of rubish there were stains om the bed and bedding and the bin in bathroom was full of used lady products the breakfast was a banana or stale bread with oj with was left out and was still there the next day the rooms stank and was overall discussing when we asked for it to be cleaned a woman member of staff just laughed and walked away making sly remarks under her breath this place needs shuting down also when my partner came to help me carry my suitcase down stairs they tried to charge 30 pound
Noisy room next to entrance
Bedding was clean, bathroom ok and been tiled
Appearance of hotel was quite poor, needs of update Room was very dusty and needs paint,
The rooms were very comfortable and very clean.
The bathroom - somehow water manages to drip to the floor and supply of toiletries was inadequate.
Oscar lodge was great for 2 nights, close to legoland and very helpful!
Room was very small, although adequate for 1 night. En-suite was very small. All areas were a bit shabby, but it was clean. Breakfast was very poor, cheap cereals, processed white bread, little choice of anything else.
the room was clean and the staff well meaning and pleasant but the management need more hands on training to show where they are making mistakes
the quality of the continental breakfast was well meant but needed improving and the rooms need servicing everyday and not just when a guest leaves, also the frontage inside and out needs a real good tidy up
Staff at the guest house were very friendly & great location.
Guest house needs a lick of paint in all areas. :-(
Convenient in Windsor
The room was really old and worn down. Wornout bedlinnen and the cleanliness - I tried not to think about it...
Staff were friendly and helpful, coop a couple of mins away and pub with beer garden in same road, toilets were clean and room, bedding and TV all good, 3 single beds in my twin room was a plus
Stayed in summer when hot so had to leave windows open which meant a fair bit of notice came from fairly busy road outside.
The location was relatively close to amenities
Hotel was in a state of disrepair. There was dampness and mould on the bedroom walls. The place dirty and entrance was shabby and unwelcoming. If it hadn't been so late when we checked in we would have about turned to look for something else. Needless to say we never checked what the matresses looked like as we were scared of what we may find. We also had a younger child with us so it wasn't nice for her. We won't be back
This was cheap and in the right location for us.
It was not clear that the property was not manned during the day. We were attending a wedding and we were hoping to get changed and leave our bags there, we called them but we were told that there would be nobody there when we arrived, so we had to make other arrangements.
Location, walking distance to Winsor high street (<10mins); Free parking (but limited space, you will get blocked in); Staff were helpful and nice to talk to. I would recommend if you are just putting your head down and not planning on hanging around the room to much.
Bath and bed room was dirty and poorly finished; Bad DIY electrics in the bath and bed room; Furniture that was in the room was mostly broken; Bed sheets had a few spots of blood on them; Tea cups on dirty/stained dish cloth; etc. Overall the whole place needed spending money on and less of the unfinished DIY, and a women's' touch to the layout and finish of the bedrooms.
near racecource. near town
Large room and comfortable beds. Stay 4 night for a free wine. Free wifi and friendly staff. Convenient position to the river, centre and eton town.
Only thing to mention is the small toilet.
Very run down, not clean.
Could do with a bit of a paint in places
