the staff cannot do enough for you, our room was not ready when we arrived but we were given complimentary drinks in the bar while we waited for half an hour. The room was spacious, clean and decorated to a high standard. The staff gave us alot of attention and helped us with local directions, the breakfast was absolutely lovely and we were asked numerous times if we wanted more coffee, juice etc, nothing was too much trouble and the service came with a smile which is not always a given in this day and age! Would definately stay here again.

Enjoyed a great overnight stay at Adamo. Staff were helpful & courteous from the minute we arrived. Due to a cold wet night we decided to stay in the hotel for dinner and we weren't disappointed with the quality of the food. Room was spotless and very well finished.. Excellent and we will be back

Food in resterauant was good.staff attentive and polite.breakfast was also good but for only a seven bedroom hotel the time to serve you was very slow took a hour to have our breakfast. On arrival were not told that there was no televisions working in hotel any where.when we asked they said they were trying to sort problem.we stayed 3 nights and had no tv at all for our stay.we were in room one we also complained about the noise of the heating boiler it was rumbleing every hour on the hour.they did discount money of our bill but if they are trying to set a standard there should be tvs operating at all times.when we arrived home we checked the new reviews and there was complaints in december about tv and baths not working so this was apparent before they took our booking a ongoing problem not good enough spoilt our new year

Very pleasant one night stop while travelling further north. restaurant very lively with christmas party, good natured, did not disturb us.. I was surprised by the room door locks. On closing they should lock automatically from the outside. It is a long time since I have had to remember to lock myself in. Everything else good

The food and service in the restaurant were first class. The rooms were good size and very comfortable. The location was excellent with the city centre within a 2 minute walk yet access to trunk roads was immediate. The televisions would be as well not being there as the pictures kept breaking up with the sound being out of sinc with the pictures.

Pleasant, helpful staff. Dreadfully depressing decor, it is dark, with excessive use of black and red. A noisy location.

The food was excellent. I will use the chef's tips to cook my own scallops! The room was comfortable but not out of the ordinary. The power circuits were not working on my first night so I was unable to boil the kettle of watch the TV.

Excellent location with good parking. Friendly staff Pleasant room with views to trees and a field from 2 large windows Nice en suite bathroom Good value for money The sash window was broken so could not be kept open and it got too warm at night (this was mentioned to staff next day when we checked out) The bed was on the firm side, I found it uncomfortable, my husband didn't We ordered a Sunday newspaper but at breakfast none of the staff knew anything about this and seemed very nonplussed, tho did apologise. The restaurant service was slow (tho food excellent)

Restaurant & Bar area was of an extremely high standard with comfortable surroundings either for dining or for drinks. The paintwork in the room itself was a little tired. TV was tempremental and did not always work. Extractor Fan in en-suite did not work. Not the standard you would expect of 4*.

We we shocked at arrival: reception is the cashier of the retaurant! But it worked out fine. Good helpful staff. Good location. No air. Big heavy windows, hard to keep open, in front of busy streets. You stay hot or bear the noise. Hard to find 1st time when driving, no signs for hotel parking.
