The staff where fantastic could not fault them one bit... And the little lounge was perfect to relax and have a drink very cosy. The rooms where first class and the beds where brilliant had a great nights sleep...

There was no conditioner for ma partner it's not a big issue but for a 4 star hotel you would think they would have it all as we have been to lower star hotel and they did.

Shower was a little grubby, the ceiling in my room was water damaged/stained and was peeling, and the tv didn't work properly.

Stylish boutique hotel - only 7 bedrooms - with friendly staff, excellent dinner. Nice contempory feel in what is a classical building.

The staff could not have been more helpful, especially Tom the barman who has a lovely friendly attitude. The hotel is very well thought out and the rooms and food are first rate. Location great for the castle and nightlife. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back to stay again.

The televisions are unnecessarily complicated, an updated simplified replacement should not be too difficult. Room 3 needed some attention to the shower and the door lock

Only a small issue - but a sheet of useful information with e.g. breakfast times, reception telephone no. etc in the room would have been helpful.

The temperature on the hotel and rooms was extremely high making it difficult to sleep

Rather close to main road and needs cooling system for rooms- as open windows are too noisy. Breakfast chef needs to learn how to really cook bacon!
