Lovely decor, huge and very comfortable bed, large television with lots of channels, great food for room service, very clean, quite big room, friendly and helpful staff. The jets in the bath were a really nice touch - but didn't work at all. Similarly the water from the shower/bath was very weak. Also the room service function on the phone didn't work so had to go down and order in person. But overall had a lovely evening, the problems were only tiny ones.

Rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. It was very noisy. The radiators made some very loud noises periodically throughout the evening. There was a wedding at the hotel and the guests were noisy at the end of the evening.as they left the function. The continental breakfast was the worst I have ever had. I certainly would not order that again if I stayed at the hotel in the future.

Value for money was lacking considering the hotel was so far out of main downtown area of London - it was near Heathrow. The rooms we were in was situated in a dingy corridor, threadbare carpet, room was basic, though clean.

Rooms were a fair size. Not too far from tube station. Plenty of parking. Fridge, hairdrier and iron press were handy. Double shower in one of the rooms was also handy. Rooms needed decorating and new carpets and windows. It was more like a motel than a hotel. Don't think it really warrants 3* morre like 2*

It was close to work. I have lots of bites all over me from the bed bugs. I have never in my life suffered so much as much as I have done when I stayed here. As well, the minibar was off with nothing inside, TV was very poor standard. On a worrying note, there were live electrical cables directly above me. Really not a place you would choose to stay at unless you were really desperate.

It was very close to work. That is the only reason. I would never dream of staying there otherwise in a million years. The hotel is very grotty, does not appear especially safe, the electrics are dangerous in the room, the television does not work properly. Where do I stop?

Booked as it was close to work, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Cheap. It needs a serious facelift and felt grimy. The bed was clean but that was about it. The doors along the whole corridor looked as if they had been broken into then fixed with a bit of polyfiller around the lock, so I didn't feel safe leaving valuables around. The shower was weak and too small so the curtain stuck to you. Not a pleasant way to wake up.

Terrible. My room had strong stench of dampness that permeated my clothes. It was barely clean. The shower was ineffective. Luckily I had to get up at 5am and didn't have to spend more time in this wretched place than I had to.

The location was perfect for where I had to be early the next morning. The room was basic but not dirty. The shower was good. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were really unpleasant. I was bitten by bedbugs/mites on my legs, arms and wrists during the night and some of the bites are still uncomfortable several days later. That is really unpleasant and I would certainly not stay at this hotel again.

It was so depressing I nearly commenced to self harming. I don't really think 4 beds in our room was necessary...given we were a couple with a baby....once the cot was put in we barely had space to move.

I quite liked the atmosphere and the staff's patient attitude to my queries and requests. The room was very comfortable and cozy. I have only one complaint: the extremely hot water running from the tap. It is almost impossible to use it without getting your hands scalded. Otherwise, everything was quite alright.

Its location. It is run down, and although we stayed for four nights the staff failed to repair the broken lights in our room. In addition, the cleaning staff advised us that the fridges in all the rooms are broken.

“On arrival, we were upgraded to an executive room which was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was exceptionally well laid out - there is never enough space to put things in hotel bathrooms but this one had plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculately clean. The staff member who checked us in could not have been more respectful and polite.” Joanne, Cambridge |
