Noisy parties every night Bathroom very poor, low water pressure and so draughty you may as well be showering outside, not pleasant in December.
We liked the heated picture on the wall. This helped to keep the room warm without the need for a fan heater. The room was a good size with adequate space to move around comfortably. Staff were helpful when needing to change rooms.
The noise from the function room could be heard which did disturb our sleep. The picture heater made some noise when it was hot. The shower had very poor pressure in the evening. The water in the sink was quite cold & didn't get hot.
Very very nice staff. Hotel well located and reasonably priced.
Great customer service
Building is looking a little tired
The water pressure was very weak. Terrible. Couldn't shower properly!!
Bathroom clean and large.Big TV and plenty of channels everything in room that was needed.
Noise from wedding that was going on Linen though clean had some rips in it. Zip beds
Food in pub excellent good place to stat
Low water pressure, it was like having a rabid cat sneeze me clean. Non existent wifi Noisy Very very dated, despite being refitted recently (how did they do that???) Just generally grubby and rough like the drinkers at the attached pub.
The member of staff that checked us in was lovely and very helpful. We stayed in room 51 and everything was spotless. The hotel was very reasonable and we would definitely stay again. If you stay also try the man v food restaurant near by.
Very basic and tired rooms. Water only trickled out of the tap and shower wasn't much better. A dent in the wall where someone had damaged it, and not repaired.
Cheap Optimal Location for my purposes Helpful staff
Whatever you do, don't have breakfast at their restaurant. Way too expensive for what was available at the buffet.
Kettle worked and they put biscuits in the room.
Only blanket on beds, stains on carpet,no heating in bathroom and shower was more of a dribble when complained was told next day it was sorted but there was no difference.
You have to be very wary of the Bar Staff who charge rediculous prices on a tab eg a cheap bottle of wine £20
The room smelt funny, it was dirty,
Pleasant staff very helpful.
musty smelling room. Needed painting. Sticky carpets in bar.
Tea and biscuits. Warmth of room.
Hole in ceiling that leaked water through the night over personal items. Thin blanket, no duvet. Broken toilet seat. Broken kettle lid. Dodgy TV connection. No power in the shower.
The room was clean and tidy. Good size bed with good heating. Easy 10 minute walk to the tube into central London.
No hot water. Terrible shower with little and at times no power. Attention to detail is poor. Even though we were at the furthest point of the hotel the party music was easily heard and felt!!
The location was good just a little bit hard to locate on such a big road.
The cost of breakfast which was extra on top of the payment of the room which I don't agree with. The windows would not close and the door had a big gap underneath plus the central heating wasn't working, yet I paid an extra 15 pounds for a family room
the pub next door
Music was really loud from 10pm until after 12.30. I called down twice and they said they'd get it turned down but if it was it crept up again. I had a meeting early the next morning and couldn't sleep. I understand that events happen, but you've really got to tell people when they book so they can choose whether to put up with it or not.
EVERYTHING a lot of outside noise gets into the room both from street and air traffic
Close to twickenham, staff in reception and bar were nice.
Stains on walls, threadbare carpets, rubbish breakfast, noisey heater in room.
Shower not good asked for double bed got singles
I didn't like it because of disrespect of reception staff as first she didn't welcome me also she was talking to me behind the desk she didn't even bother to come to the front at last she left me standing and she went to answer to her mobile number
The bar is still a pleasant place (I stayed here four years ago on business) and the food is still good.
Room 18 was diabolical, there were damp stains on the ceiling and staff were surprised when told that the rain was coming through the ceiling. The room was also very small, not the deluxe I thought I had booked.
