The veiws were lovely the staff really nice breakfast was amazing will be comeing back again
Not a thing to dislike
Booked late and found the owners to be most helpful. I left very early the following morning, well before breakfast. Despite this the owner got up early and made a bacon sandwich and tea to set me up for the day. Highly recommended and would return. Great location.
Nothing to dislike.
Room Honesty bar - could do with a TV though Staff very friebndly and attentive
little out of the way.
Breakfast was ok
I was asked for payment the minute I entered the building to then be told that private bathroom ment down the hall and given a key and a dressing gown! I would have left had I known but refund was not possible
They accommodated us for a second night at short notice and were very helpful about giving advice about where to eat and what to see.
comfortable beds location friendliness of staff good breakfast
noise in room above us
Women who ran the place couldn't have been more helpful.
Very clean and tidy Lovely pub to eat in just a 5 minutes walk away Very flexible with me as I needed an early start every morning

Breakfast was a little early finishing for a Sunday morning could of done with an exter half hour that's all
The room and bathroom w ere very clean;Cleaner than some hotels I've been to. Also the view over the lake was beautiful. The staff was nice and told us about places we could visit. Breakfast was huge and lovely. I guessed we had value for money.
We needed air in the room but couldn't open the window. Apart from that everything was perfect
location - (had meadow view rather than lake) breakfast - accomodated children and vegetarians friendly staff - very helpful (offered travel cot/changed lightbulb etc)
family room was at the top of the house.... quite a climb with a 2 year old and 5month old might be worth of thinking about adding some simple things to family room (childrens hangers/ footstool to stand at sink to clean teeth) could have been a little cleaner - tray with tea making facilities and glasses were dusty
the view was outstanding clean and well looked after
Room was good. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to The Pheasant Inn which served an excellent dinner. Right beside the lake.
Host very friendly, room comfortable and very clean, host made us a lovely afternoon tea with home made slice. Off street parking which is always good. Always remember with most B and Bs. If you have large suitcases just take up what you need for the night, the rooms are not so large and they mostly have a few flights of stairs? Good breakfast excellent lounge area.
Friendly atmosphere, lovely location.
