The owners were lovely people who looked after us with great advice on the lay out of Scarborough. Followed exactly their advice and was more than happy. Room was exactly as portrayed. Breakfast brill. George and Edward even better. A safe place.
Just out of Town centre. away from the noise and traffic. very clean and functional rooms. breakfast was on.
Very lovely couple who really made our stay enjoyable. They gave us a lovely bottle of wine for us to celebrate our anniversary which I thought was a lovely touch. The breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again.
Place was nice and friendly
Having to stay in a converted garage located in the car park rather than the hotel that I booked for
We had a fabulous stay . Location great. Breakfast excellent great choice. Car park on site a bonus.
squeaky bunk beds (minor tiny issue) not very powerful shower (again very minor issue)
Quality of staff Excellent breakfasts
Room a bit small
Friendliness of owners, cleanliness of room & best breakfast I've ever had!
Room was very clean with a very comfortable double bed. Hotel in a lovely quiet part of Scarborough Owners very welcoming and friendly Had the most relaxing weekend
Having to leave
Friendly clean bright place, we had a nice breakfast served with a smile. Situated by a lovely park area but still close enough to stroll down to the seafront . Also has free parking which was great.
It was a bit smaller than we are used to and we could hear other people moving about their rooms although this didn't really bother us .
We loved the cleanliness and welcome that we received, excellent food and a lovely couple who nothing was to much trouble for. Hotel absolutely beautiful and right on the edge of a beautiful park, would definitely recommend.
Just bed ,breakfast food.
Waiting for the room to 2pm ,didn't allowed to watch TV while waiting.we have to leave tired ,once we arrive in the morning from the hotel . In the morning breakfast I got broken chair and I cut my leg with 2cm long nail, the lady ask me event stupid question ."if I put my leg up,on that bit"if I put my leg there it would end up with my knee on top of the table,I think she was very rude . On the end of our stay they didn't allowed leave the bags in hotel till we get our train . nightmare,we was looking every where until we find one hotel which help us.
No a great deal
Room was tiny, could hardly move. Unwelcoming sign in room, no food or drink allowed, you could be charged extra. Ensuite was tiny. Breakfast was average and I'm not a hard person to please. It was £85 and for a BnB of this quality I thought this was expensive.
Great hosts Great breakfast Great extras ... use of bath robes, chocolates, toiletries etc Great Stay!
Hosts were absolutely friendly and so very helpful. Real home from home. Went into lounge in evening and just kicked off shoes got comfy had a lovely drink from bar. Breakfast great too.
Beds low and a little springy, but still had a quite a good nights sleep.
The owner and the staff were exceptionally attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The place was very well kept and exceptionally clean and room facilities were very good. A friend and I were immediately put at ease and offered a drink and chance to relax on arrival. The owner obviously has a great awareness of customer service and the breakfast was delicious. Would I recommend this hotel to others. Yes, the Outlook is a lovely place to stay and I would use the hotel again.
Can not fault the customer service so no comments on this really.
The hotel was smaller than we thought. The rooms inside the main house were vere nice and very clean.Breakfast was very good too. The rooms occupancy on booking .com is very misleading e.g.(sleeps 4adults 3children) it is 4adults or 3children with 1 adult.Luckily we booked 3seperate rooms for 3 different families otherwise we would have been struggling. We were out in what they refer to as the Anex( garage converted) ther was a musty smell on arrival. It did improve a bit before as we left all windows open. When I mentioned it to the landlady she said it was probably because it hadn't been used for a couple of weeks.it was clean and probably the coolest room available on a very hot day. On reflection I don't think it should have been the same price as the other rooms as it only slept 3 single people.
The Anex room as mentioned above. The bar that was advertised wasn't open when we went to the lounge (we then brought our own drink) at 10pm we were leaving and the landlord came to open up and seemed disappointed that we has been drinking our own.Maybe more information in the booklet would have helped this confusion.
The excellent breakfast which offered more choice than other B&B's visited.
Lack of space in private parking area.
Beautiful house, lovely and clean room. Friendly owner.
The owners are so nice nothing to much trouble, best nights sleep, breakfast perfect, very quiet location, perfect for us,will go again.
A very friendly relaxing atmosphere and exceptional service with a personal touch. We were offered coffee and scones when we arrived and a lovely breakfast in the morning (included in the price). A very clean and comfortable hotel - a little gem!
A lovely area close to Peasholm Park but a bit of a climb from the front for senior citizens!
Dated decor Small room Poor value for money Small time frame for breakfast
Size of the double room and bathroom.
Very accommodating hosts! Breakfast was excellent, rooms were bright and clean with nice little extras such as toiletries and bottled water. Nothing was too much trouble for Michelle, she even gave the children bread to feed the ducks with at the park on the morning of our last day! We had a great 2 day break and would definitely book to stay here again if we came back.
It was lovely and clean little extra touches where so nice, breakfast excellent hosts very friendly
A bit far out and hilly our legs were aching
