Room (woodland room) quality was worse than expected. Room was very hot with no air con. Fairway rooms are better.

Fantastic value for money. a back door entrance direct onto the golf course with an amazing view was a highlight for me. Very clean.

Bed seemed a little small for a male of 5'11" floorboards of apartment above us very noisy when walking around at 4:00am

I found Overstone Park to be a peaceful golfers paradise. The setting was very relaxing and welcoming. Some golf and country clubs can feel too elitist at times but Overstone had a very welcoming approach from golfers young and old to mums with small children and retired professionals. The rooms were clean and more than comfortable. I had a standard bedroom with a double bed, en-suite shower room, tv and good wifi internet connection. The entire stay was very quiet and the rooms over look the woods and this brought back my memories of staying in Sweden. Overstone has a very Swedish feel especially with all the wood lodge buildings. Overstone is close to the m1 junction 15 and easily accessible. Very recommended and will stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice clean room, very quiet, nice restaurant for breakfast with pleasant views over the golf course. Eggs cooked to order were nice. Better value than Premier Inns that we often use.

Room was rather small for a longer stay but fine for our purposes of just a night or two. I have a bad back and the very firm mattress was uncomfortable for my particular back problem although my wife found it okay. Very firm mattresses are generally speaking not good for people. Would stay again though.

Friendly staff with good restaurant, bar and sports centre attached.

The front of house manager sue was amazing, she had arranged for our room to be ready earlier than the check time so we could change for a family wedding after travelling for over 2 hours, really impressed. Real shame we didnt get to enjoy the facilities, would highly recommend and will no doubt stay there again when we visit family again.

Room was large with good view Good swimming pool, clean changing rooms. Restaurant and bar staff very helpful, but could have been better with more training. Foe example, I ordered drinks for my family, the bar staff could see that we had children, he could have bought the drinks over, but instead just looked at me to come and get the drinks, at the time he was not busy. The waiter in the restaurant in the morning was extremely busy, but made a great effort to ensure we where looked after, thanks you.

Poor quality bedding, very thin duvet, need replacing. Some very petty, unnecessary rules in the club house. Food extremely poor, breakfast very low standard. Reception staff seemed very unmotivated.

The double suite was very spacious overlooking the golf course.

Service! Having driven 5 hours to get there, going down for dinner at 8.30pm they had decided to close the restaurant because it 'had been quiet' - so had to drive 10 miles to find a meal. Breakfast was poor, half baked crosissants no hot food available until I was leaving at 8am. Appalling service!

View from room over golf course was nice, though the rooms are more chalets than actual hotel rooms. Single glazed windows and squeaky floorboards. Staff were all very pleasant. Sauna and steam room good.

Food is average, restaurant is being refurbed so everyone sat in the bar. Steak dry, salad limp and breakfast greasy.

Rooms were noisy. A bit of less privacy
