On 13 acres of beautiful, peaceful grounds, Sedgebrook Hall is in the pretty village of Chapel Brampton. It has an indoor pool, a gym and modern rooms with private bathrooms.
Score from 206 reviews Very good
Conveniently situated a short walk from the center of town, this hotel is minutes from the town's mainline train station and within easy access of business and industrial estates.
Score from 456 reviews Good
Tiny standard rooms, microTV, not efficient heating
Staff were polite, bar food was nice, good facilities & breakfast was really good
Very strong smell of paint in the room & bed was not comfortable
Crackin' full english - excellent value for money when you make use of the pool and spa too! The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms perfectly adequate.
Maybe a touch too much chlorine in the hot tub?!
Staff - Pool = Views = Tranquillity
Setting is beautiful, food good and staff extremely helpful and lovely!
Room and bathroom very small, No instructions on how to get the lights to work!
Easy to find A good breakfast
By far the worst "hotel" we have ever been. First of all this can't be called a hotel, most of us (customers) have better rooms at home than what they have to offer. Receptionist (lady with red hair) when we arrived I have never soon so unpleasant... wedding party... people making noisy until very late, reception at one building, than the rooms outside this building, you need to guess where your room is... Noisy, people talking next room but you can hear like they are inside your room! Never again!
service at reseraunt was extremely slow, complained and no reply from management. Rooms were small and foosty smelling, patio door makes rooms very unprivate.
Location, choice on menu, facilities
getting there, room was a bit dated.
Good value for money, breakfast really nice, great to sit and look out over the golf course for breakfast. Staff were very polite and pleasant, the Leisure club looked great, I wish we had had time to use it. We were staying because we needed a reasonable B&B for a night near to Northampton for a function, and were not disappointed. The Menu looked good for the restaurant.
More than a couple of nights would be a struggle in the room, it was quite small with very little wardrobe space for a longer stay.
Rooms very poor standard Mattress uncomfortable and old Wifi signal too weak to enable connection
great facilities Nice room
Long wait in restaurant
Views were lovely, amenities were good but the rest was average.
The room had no window and you had to open the door to allow heat to escape but that led on the balcony where people were walking back and forth meaning no privacy and it has to be the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in.
nice staff good central reception builing and facilities
room was dreadful - very disappointing too small, basic and very tired looking
Reception staff were nice. Bed was comfortable. Swimming pool was nice.
Rooms were poky and stuffy. Carpets had seen better days. Breakfast staff did not acknowledge us on arrival nor apologise or offer any alternatives to certain food when run out.
The people , the breakfast, and the comfort
The spa was great and access to the golf course. Breakfast was lovely. The grounds was beautiful.
We were not told that the bar/restaurant area was closed the night we arrived but as we were going out that was fine. Would be nice to have some accommodation in the main area so you don't have to walk outside.
It was nice and quiet. The location was lovely. Had breakfast with lovey views.
Would have liked the shower to be a little bit wider. I am disabled and it was a bit tight.
pool grounds breakfast breakfast setting
restaurant closed due to wedding, most importantly couldn't get on balcony and it was 30 degrees. we desperately wanted to sit outside but we weren't told we could have gone downstairs so had to go out to eat. we would have chosen an upstairs room with balcony but we were not offered that choice either.
Location was stunning and the spa and tennis courts were good to use
Despite several visits to reception I was continuously asked if I was a hotel guest. The staff seemed to walk around with their eyes shut. Our room was not cleaned on day 3 after the housekeeper walked in on us at 1040am in bed and we asked her to come back later. Despite being out for 8 hours that day we returned to no tea, coffee, clean towels or the bed made. We asked at reception and got handed a plastic bag with sum coffee sachets and clean towels. The whole place seems to only pander to the golfers and very little interest in paying hotel guests. Food okay but overpriced for the way they serve it to you. 3 days in a row I was handed the wrong plate of food or someone else's order by mistake.
We will definitely use this place to stay again in the future
I have not nothing to comment it had everything you could ask for in an overnight stay
staff were very accomadating location food were very good
are accomadation was summer and the noise from above left it difficult to sleep and the room size dissapointing
Leisure facilities, views and food
Was not a hotel more like a lodge, room noisy if on ground floor, dated rooms
Great spot and fantastic leisure fasclilities with pool etc and a nice golf course. It must be good if you own or use one of the lodges/villas etc.
The hotel room was dirty, small and the shower was a cheap plastic cubicle. I wouldn't pay more than £30 per night but I was charged £138????
