The pool and spar was a Great! way to relax after my 4 hour journey. I was in room casle howard I found the lighting very dim for my wife to put on her make up. We were going to an engagement party the same night we had arrived and she wanted to look her best. Also for some reason the bathroom mirror was very low on the wall. My wife had to get a chair to be able to see. Ideal for midgets. Take a look! . |

Everything it was a stunning setting, amazing accomodation, just perfect! The food was outstanding and the theatre and grandeur of the rooms was a real euphoric feeling, such a surprise and so calming when away on business |

The waiting staff and restaurant team are exceptional at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and the menu although a little limited is excellent. The meals throughout our two night stay for six adults were superb - Lobster Ravioli highly recommended! |

Good value for money with excellent pool/gym facilities. Very clean, although a few problems were encountered. Most desk staff very friendly and helpful, other not too friendly Air con in both rooms was not working properly, one not even connected to wall controls. Both rooms had double beds on arival, although twin was requested, the receptionist had no intention of sorting the problem. |

The staff were very friendly & obliging. We had cause to complain initially about the room but this was dealt with immediately & we were given an alternative room. The leisure facilities were very impressive. The original room had approx 2 dozen flies in it, I could not have stayed in this room. |

It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the food was excellent and plentiful, it was ideally located for what we wanted and we would definitely stay there again. The "personalised directions" provided by Booking.com involved taking an unmarked sharp left turn off the A1(M) which we could not take for fear of causing an accident and so it was only luck that got us to the hotel. We could also have done without the sound of vehicle reversing warning alarms waking us up at 5.20am. |

The food was good. The restaurant staff were very friendly. The room we stayed in was spacious, very clean and comfortable. On our first night, there was a continuous loud noise that disturbed our sleep (probably coming from the Jacuzzi below). The wireless internet access was terribly temperamental and only worked in a very small area of the hotel. |

A really good value for money hotel. The breakfast was excellent and also the food in the evening was fresh and cooked in front of us.the pool was super for an early morning dip! Our room was a good size and very clean. n/a |

The pool area when we eventually found it ! Poor healthy selection at breakfast poor selection of fresh fruit The pool attendant never spoke and was un helpful . The dinner menu had not good choices for every one in our party. |

The restaurant was of a high quality for the evening meal. The service was good. The receptionist was rude (morning), my room was in a separate block away form the hotel resources. No shower in room, over bath hand held jobbie. |
