Location was ideal, right beside tube station in nice area. Cost was excellent value for Central London. Overall good option for a short weekend stay
Beds are only ok, adequate.
Location, friendly staff and good value for money!
Tv didn't work, no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands and we went to a nearby pub for breakfast because the queue was too big (there was a big rush and everybody was cramped into a long, tight queue)
Triple room. £95 for a night. Room was tiny and outside view was grim and exterior windows filthy. HOWEVER, room was v clean and beds narrow but v comfy. It was incredibly quiet. You basically get what you pay for and it was decent value for that. Great central location for Earls Court bars and high St. Breakfast was fine but it was everyman for himself!
Just initial impression of room with cement splatters on exterior window - not great. Also annoying that room not ready at 13.30 when I arrived.
location great beds comfortable very good orange jouice
queue during breakfast, service people not smiled anytime - they work there like for punishment, broken shower, cold water many times, smoking staff outside - bed smell comming through the window, breakfast eggs look like boiled 1 day before, very bad coffee.
leaving the place.
horrible bed, tiny bathroom, heater not working, everything looked heavily used or was broken, staff on the edge of being unfriendly, definitely no hotel but a hostel - overpriced!
Comfortable bed, ample tea/coffe making provided in room
Door to bathroom too close to bed, floor sloped under other bed. Maybe re-arrange layout?
Close to Earl's Station. There are a lot of pubs, restaurants and shop around the hotel.
I didn't like: breakfast (terrible), staff (actually a employee that receive me on evening). I couldn't understand what he said to me, because his accent, and he was angry. I'll never come back there. Once I stayed at YHA Hostel, near Oxford Hotel and it was better. That's a pity.
Hotel appearence and convienient position
little arrange of food . Carpet bad
It suited our needs exactly
Possibly not enough counterspace in bathroom
Unhappy staff, poor breakfast, no free wifi
Location 2 min from the tube station, price really good for London, staff was nice
Tiny rooms, not very clean place, poor breakfast, paid luggage room (5 pounds per room)
This place is perfectly alright if you're just looking for a clean place to sleep while visiting London. The place is clean, fresh towels every day. Breakfast is fine as well, toasts, cereal, juice and tea/coffe. Great location close to Earl's Court tube station and many bus routes available.
hotel staff never pick up phone when u need to ask something......
The only advantage is that is placed is a nice area and like 5minutes far from the subway station but this is not enough.
My experience with Oxford hotel was the worst experience ever. The room smaller than a box of matches and the furniture very old who made creepy noises .The biggest minus is the bathroom where you could barely move, where the sink kept clogging up. If you tried to wash your teeth or your hands you had to wait couple of minutes untill the water leaked from the sink. Not to mentiom that the blanket with which we should have covered was full of human hair ( horrible ) . The breakfast was so poor, like it was made for 2yeard old children , you have milk and ornage juice and some bread with butter and marmelade 3 stars hotel which looks and is like maximum 1 star !
Location, Earls Court tube station very near, where you have Piccadilly and District lines, connecting with the major points of interest in London.
Size of the room, no place for suitcase, miniature bathroom, not a single chair or shelf for placing the toiletries.Room 201 could not mix hot and cold water, plus in the morning we had a flood from the above room. The french guy Julien at the reception, was very nice and changed our room to 311, where at least could mix the hot and cold water so could take a decent shower. The price is much too high, for all this lack of comfort. Will not choose this Hotel again.
Location, ease of check in & out.
I did like the location of the hotel as it was a 2 minute walk from Earl's Court tube station and it was a quiet road.
The breakfast was not satisfying and it was minimal, also the room was fairly small with a quite uncomfortable bed.
we were located to a small room in the basement. building works were been carried out next door with a cango hammer drill knocking a wall in the side building.. the walls were dirty and one of the cushions on the bed was dirty.. the room was a box room.. we were allocated to another room that had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, plugs and sockets running over ground, a window that wouldn,t close as it was rotten.. the room was small also..
En suite was tiny but adequate
Kept awake by noise of mice or rats gnawing at woodwork. Extremely small room, just large enough for double bed.
The location is good, very close to Earl's Court tube station.
The hotel is very noisy, the breakfast is poor.
location was only good thing
Mould in bathroom and bedroom, cobwebs on ceiling, shower room smelled awful, hole in tiled floor "repaired" with cardboard held in place with brown sticky tape, window opened onto dumping ground for rubbish, continental breakfast was a joke and even the toaster was useless !!!
This was the single most depressing stay I've ever experienced. The facilities are beyond awful and the staff unfriendly. First they gave me and my partner the wrong room with single beds and then the second option was even worse! Untidy dirty room, overpriced, unorganised!
The locatıon of the hotel is just a corner away from Earl's Court tube station.
There is a hotel renovation next to Oxford Hotel making much noise and discomfort. The rooms are very small, don't even have a table. 2 luggages, 2 kids don't fit. Breakfast is poor, room is very small, very crowded in the mornings.
The hotel was less than 5 minutes walk from Earls Court tube. Good value for the £44 we paid for a twin room.
Breakfast was a bit of a free for all and our view was limited because of the lower ground floor. OK for one night.
I liked the receptionist staff and that hotel was relatively clean.
The toilet smelt due to bad drain, the staff were not so friendly, (waiting staff), the coffee and tea were cold and the toaster did not heat the bread. The TV did not work, sub standard. This was not a 3 star hotel. The satff could not understand English.
