We did sightseeing in London. The location was great because it was near the tube. The staff, especially Fabio, at the front desk, was very helpful. I was very happy to have a room in the front on the first floor.

Location is very near the tube. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean beds and bathroom There were little things like no lock on the balcony door, worrying as we were 2 females and the balcony was adjoinig another. Also the carpet was very dirty. And the room had trialing plug extension wires, electric lights were not independent switchs so couldnt turn on light over bed without main light on and no bedside lamp. Also room was so small if bathroom door was left open it blocked the room door from being opened from the outside as we discovered when we were blocked out of our room this way.

I liked the location of this hotel and the fact that it was good value for the money. The staff, especially reception, were helpful and professional. Many of the rooms are very small, hardly enough room for two people to move in. Also, the bathrooms. We were lucky to have the shower in a separate room, but I know that is not the way all rooms are set up. Breakfast provided was fine, but it seems that a large space is needed for the restaurant. It is always very crowded and very hot.

Proximity to tube and bus services. Good selection of mid-priced restaurants and pubs serving food. the Courtfield pub [a couple of minutes' walk frmo hotel] served a decent English Breakfast for £4.99.

Nice room a bit small but the bathroom was on the second floor and it was unusual, there is everything you need (teapot, tea, fridge and so on), good location, small tv but quite new. Quite nice hotel

Location is excellent, room was adequately large with clean and functional bathroom and huge windows. At 55GBP/night I would definitely consider it good value for a London property. Perhaps the hotel is a little rough around the edges, the carpeting would need replacement etc. Breakfast rather meager.

I like the ensuite room, the view of old houses was amazing. The hotel was very close to the tube which was ideal for us to go straight to work from along time travelling. We booked at such short notice and it was great we were able to get a room at reasonable price.

The staff! They were absolutely lovely, really friendly. I also liked the fact that the hotel catered for all ages and nationalities. Room was a little bit small, but for one or two nights this isn't a concern

I really liked the location of the Oxford Hotel. tucked away in a quiet street just of of Old Brompton road, I came to find out the neighborhood of Kensington was really cool. There were restaraunts, cafe's, shopping, etc. not to mention the proximity to Chelsea. If you wanted to go to London town, the tube is literally less than 2 blocks away at Earl's court station. Also my room was on the top floor and looked out onto the quiet neighborhood of white fronted town houses. I enjoyed my stay very much, and I got it at such a low price I'm a bit embarrassed to mention. Let's just say I could have stayed in a hostel in central London with no private bathroom, and no bed linens for the same price I paid to stay at the Oxford Hotel. I highly reccomend this hotel. the shower head fell off, while I was showering.

Very good location, two minutes from Earls Court station. Lots of good restaurants just around the corner. Good bed, nice bathroom. The room was clean and warm. There is a refridgiator and a safe. Not much closset-space, if you bring a big suitcase, you will have to keep it between the wall and the bed. Breakfast is allright, but come early, it gets crowded after 8:45

very conveniently located. Rooms on the railway station side is very noisy. Breakfast rooms are small and too crowded. They give an impression of 'feeding cattles' rather than breakfast for human beings...

This was the second hotel in London we stayed at and we much preferred the bathroom in this hotel. It was more clean and had no mold, but the initial room for the 3 of us was very tiny. I was expecting a tight fit but not this much. We barely had room for 3 people and our luggage of 1 each. I would only recommend it as it's convenient to the Tube, in a decent area and the 2nd room (after my kids returned home) was much better. The continental breakfast was not as good as our previous hotel in London, although the dining room was much larger to accomodate more people.

The hotel is in a great location, less then 1 block from the underground with service to mutiple lines. Even though the rooms are small, typical of european hotels, it has everything you would need; clean towels daily, refrigerator, a combination safe/lock box, tv, wifi, etc. Besides the underground so close, restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store are all within 1 block as well. We really enjoyed our stay! The continental breakfast included was rather bland, but it did the trick to kick start the day.

Oxford Hotel was excellent value for money. The hotel is located just around the corner from Earl's Court station, nearby there's plenty of restaurants, a nice pub, a couple of food stores, anything you'll need and could wish to be near your hotel. The room was tiny (as described here, and we knew to expect that) but tidy and clean. Room temperature was warm (we stayed during january so it was nice!), cleaning service worked properly. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no problems whatsoever! Breakfast was pretty much just toast, marmalade and tea, but it served it's purpose. If you're not going to spend your vacation in the hotel room, I'd recommend this hotel for it's good value for money.
