The hotel was cheap, clean and there was not much noise from the city as it is situated on a side street away. Within walking distance of earl's court tube station and several shops and lots of great restaurants.
The breakfast was the lowest point, but we did not expect much for the price we paid!
For the money we spend on Oxford Hotel I think we got decent value. Amazing location with great public transportation and restaurants all over the neighborhood. Simple but friendly the stuff. I would definitely come back.
Continental breakfast was very poor, I wouldn't even call it a breakfast. That's the reason why it's for free. No public parking available, it's residential only. Expensive Internet
Weren't happy about the room it looked very untidy and very small not spacious. Breakfast was a disaster as you sit with other guests which was akward.. The receptionist had some attitude and we only asked questions on the location. The best thing of the hotel was that it was in a quiet area and close to the tube
Quiet room, reasonable cost, great location, close to station, bus etc.
Room was small, en suite small but functional, no bath mat for shower.
Twin beds very small, and grubby beds pushed together in a very confined space. Walls marked and needed painting. Balcony filthy, warned not to stand on it. Fridge didn't work. Mattress cover dirty. Wires from TV and fan just hanging from wall. Spring door outside room banging loud at night when guests entering rooms. Breakfast room in confined space, food unappetising.
Location good near tube
Rooms far too small, even sink was too small to wash in. Breakfast area was far too small and felt hectic, not a good start to the day . Could get much better quality for the same money.
Cramped Room Too hot on 3rd floor Staff at breakfast were neither friendly or approachable Bathroom tiny, shower not working well and minute sink
Location was excellent and tube station was only 5 minutes away which was great
Bed awful did not have a good nights sleep and the breakfast was poor we had to clear are own table
Polite staff Clean rooms Comfortable beds
Breakfast was chaotic room small
The location was good (near a metro station) and one of the receptionist was really helpfull - the french guy.
Beadroom too small, bathrooms really bad, sink was way too small, the shower didnt work properly, minibar wasn't working, wifi was paid and it was very expensive, the accessibility was very bad, we carried the baggage arround the hotel with difficulty.
Location was good with the tube station, bank, and restaurants within a walking distance
The room was too small with barely any space for bags. The bathroom was even smaller with a shower stall where one could barely even turn.
1 min from earls Court tube, clean comfortable and easy going staff
Having to go home
it is stated in their policy that there will be no downpayment needed for my booking, it is free cancellation until 1 day before the date of booking, but there was a transaction in my credit card 1 week before for 1 day as payment for no show. its is more than a week now that the pending transaction is still in the billing statement.
The location was excellent for our purpose as we were there for a family bereavement.
Room toooooo small. Very cramped. Short wardrobe, no drawers or even a chair to sit on. Bathroom also very small. Bed clean. Towels changed daily. Ok for the cost. We were along the road from the main hotel. Didn't know there were two. Sorry wouldn't return to this hotel.
This hotel is very good value for central London. It is clean, although a little basic and our room was quite small but was adequate. The room had a TV, safe, fan and a small fridge. Two minutes walk from Earls Court tube station so easy access to anywhere in London. Will definitely stay there again!
Location near underground
Staff attitude at breakfast. Poor quality food. Bedroom small and electrical fittings require repair. Wardrobe broken. Poor outlook from room.
loaction is good.
Very very tiny rooms, WiFi not included, very basic breakfast, some staffs are not cooperative. Keeping luggage is also chargeable. Breakfast timings are nt proper, staffs start winding even before timing and even when people are having breakfast. Would not recommend anyone
Room was an ensuite.
Could've been cleaner. Think wifi should be available in the room. Also there was no TV remote would've been handy
The staff was not very friendly, we had to figure out how the power to the room worked. perhaps the receptionist could have let us know when we checked in, they did minimum housekeeping in our room, there was no breakfast on one of the days we were there. This is a great place to sleep and shower nothing else. Bare bones accommodations. They have their location going for them. A lot of money for bare bones. would stay in the area again but find another hotel.
Cheap for it's location and nice enough, though very basic
Breakfast was poor, the choice was cereal or toast, and the toaster only toasted one side of the bread. Wifi was an extra charge, and pretty expensive. Our shower came on every time the person in the next room used theirs. It was alright, and I can't complain too much for the price, but when it claims the original price is about £200 for a room and it's reduced right down, don't believe it. It's worth the £70 or so for a night in London, but not much more. You're not getting a bargain, you're getting what your paying for.
the room my relatives stayed was not equipped with fan. they had hard nights with heat.
Excellent location, comfortable room, basic but don't need to spend much time in your room!
Could do with a wee bit of updating.
