Kettle is dirty with a tea bag inside. Room is very small.
The room was clean and proper. For the price, it is really good and advisable.
Free breakfast finishes at 9:30, so wake up early if you want to have it!
The location, few meters away from Earl's Court tube station
The fact that i have to pay even for an adaptor and the overall comfort of the room
Convienent localisation and breakfast.
Mold and paint which is peeling off walls. No tv remote, not regular bed sheets. Will not recommend.
Lovely for a nights stay if you're having a day trip to London
It was only around the corner from the station.
The room was very dirty, as if it they where try to cover up the fact that they haven't bothered to change the sheets. There was only one staff available in the whole hotel. It was a horrible stay and I will never stay here again. And you shouldn't too
Location, rooms were accommodating for 3 of us, continental breakfast was good value for money.
The rooms were extremely hot and we were located in the basement, which meant I didn't feel comfortable opening the window. There was a fan, which we left on overnight. The hotel was also split into 2, so we checked in at one, then walked a couple of houses down to where we were staying.
location is very close to Underground station on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow. It was very easy to get to the various sites around London. This balanced with the cost of the Hotel made it an attractive place to be. Earles Court has lots of people from around the world living there and so is quite multicultural.
There were minor things in the Hotel that could have been attended to. The room was quite small with little closet space. BUT again considering all factors it was a good place to be for a few days.
Good speedy check in. Rooms clean and tidy. Although there are some bad points I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.
Bathrroom to small and cramped although I was in a basement room. No remote for tv. Kettle need a socket that was easier to access. Only one socket for the tv and fan so you could only use one or the other.
The location is excellent for me because I like the Earl's Court area. It's just two min.walk from the tube station Earl's Court. The cleanliness of the room is good. The breakfast is also good for the price you paid.
My room which is LG 9 at the basement is not recommended for guest that are claustrophobic.Ventilation is poor.bathroom is big like for handicap. There is no shower partition so if you use it all areas of the bathroom are wet and slippery.I paid a cheap price but the room does not have to be like this.It could be a little bit better. The room is just like the'70s style.Ok if they have a theme but the furnitures are worn out and lacking. The towels are also worn out and tattered. When you enter you have to hold two doors together and your luggage to enter it.Then at check out you have to pay 5 pounds to leave your luggages.Though in most hotels that I stayed this is already free service because I checked out like 9 a.m instead of 11a.m but ok I understand that they want to earn.I expected that the luggage room is good since they asked for payment but it's not.It is way too small and crammed because by the time I got there somebody is ahead of me putting more luggages. But I was still able to squeeze in.Then when I came back to take it out that is where I have to be a bagage boy, pulling out all other luggages before I got mine. There was nobody to help you.
Rude staff, tiny box room. It's not a hotel, it's a bedsit.
Location was good, price was reasonable, not too noisy.
Reception staff were miserable & unfriendly, breakfast was a joke (too many people - too small a space) & cook your own toast!, room fittings were unfinished, got twin beds (asked for double), no TV remote given to us on check-in (there should have been!).
Room was ok for a cheap budget hotel. There was a lift also which was a pleasant surprise.
Rude rude rude staff during breakfast. Pushy mouthy disgusting treatment to visitors to our great British capital city. It was shameful the way you heard them speak to guests. One toaster didn't work and one reaction was 'I don't care', the manager was on holiday for a month ? according to reception so no one allegedly there to advise of the staff attitude issue, it was so bad it was almost funny. It was not a walk away from Olympia but an £8 cab ride. No mini bar just an empty fridge?£4 for 2 hours of wifi is a rip off. in summery You don't expect much for the price they charge but I've stayed in budget hotels before, politeness and good manners no matter what star rating should be included. The hint is in the industry 'Hospitality'. Not recommended at all. A total sham that reminded me of a bad version of Faulty Towers.
The location is truly excellent, very well connected, close to tube and buses, supermarkets and restaurants. Breakfast was quite nice and abundant.
The third bed was just a bunk bed, the furniture was old and not enought, the windows were letting in cold air from outside
right beside tube station and local shops. no frills, no nonsense. some staff very helpful.
smallest hotel room i've ever stayed in with an even tinier bathroom and shower. some staff appallingly unhelpful. i had requested a disability access bathroom on booking. could not be contacted for verifiication, phonecalls constantly went through to "marcos" mailbox without saying whether or not it was the oxford hotel. on arrival there was no disability access bathroom. the ryanair of hotels.
The room was no more than 10-11 m2 (incl. the bathroom)
1. My bed was two tiny single beds bolted together. It was horribly uncomfortable, dug into my back and sides and I couldn't sleep properly. 2. The extra blankets provided were smelly, they obviously hadn't been washed in a while. The pillow cases were clean but the pillows themselves smelled quite stale (smelled like sweaty scalp). Disgusting. 3. The fridge in my room was broken. 4. The door didn't lock from the inside so cleaning barged in one morning even though I shouted not to enter. 5. The "shower" was a curtain around a metal pole and was so small that the towel rail and toilet were up against the curtain. Very uncomfortable. 6. My friend's room has mould growing on the walls above the bed.
location was good
poor hygiene beds were terrible with dirty blankets and pillows on them Breakfast was really poor there was toast and cheese and milk with cereals that's it
Location Interior design Staff
Size of rooms Uninspiring breakfast Toaster incapable of heating bread
Room too small. Bed and towel poor
Location (nice neighbourhood, close to the tube, restaurants, supermarkets and shops).
- Poor breakfast; - No daily room cleaning; - Room too small; - No free wi-fi; - Hairdryer didn't work; - No remote control for the tv;
Room had all we needed for a short stay, great value for money. Breakfast was more than sufficient. I would definitely use this hotel again. I would suggest People who want Dorchester facilities should stay at the Dorchester!!
Shower did not drain very well - but this was a minor niggle, people in room next door very noisy but again not really Hotels fault. Staff weren't sure of one piece of info. we needed, however they were very helpful and tried to answer our question.
Ideal location for Earls Court
The breakfast room was horrendous. Too many bodies squeezed into a small space. We didn't bother and walked up to the Blackbird pub and had a lovely brekkie.
Used condom Chewing gum on headboard Food slashed up the walls Filthy shower and accessories NOT a double room (3/4 bed actually) Would not fit a double bed in the room No heating Window stuck open Cotton bed sheets - had to ask for blankets at 2am.
