This hotel is close to Oxford, adjacent to the A34 and just a 5-minute drive from junction 9 of the M40. Its attractive rural location is also convenient for Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. There is a superb selection of bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, including a number of luxurious four-poster rooms and suites. Many rooms have jacuzzi bathtubs and some have large showers or wet rooms. The four-poster family suite is ideal for a family leisure break. There is unlimited free car parking on site and free Wi-Fi access in public areas. The hotel has a large bar and restaurant, and the recently constructed Blenheim function suite can accommodate up to 120 people for weddings, conferences and other functions. Hotel Rooms: 28

Great freindly staff. Good room size with all you would need for a relaxing stay. Varied menu from bar snacks to a good restaurent menu. Very quite location which adds to the relaxed atmoshere of the hotel..

The room was good although we had to ask for some items to be replaced - most of which were done quickly. All The staff were helpful and friendly The chef stopped work at 9.00 pm so we only had two courses at dinner, There was a mistake on the bill which was rectified after I telephoned. The double room only had one bedside light and no light over the bathroom mirror, but we were told that it is due for a make over.

Excellent location and lovely oldy-worldy Inn. Bedroom very quaint. Had very bad service when ordering dinner. Waited over half an hour for salmon meal for my wife. An apology was given by saying it had taken a long time to cook the salmon. However, the salmon was raw in the middle. My wife was offered another meal but by this time she was very hungry and asked for the salmon to be cooked, which again took another 10 minutes to be re-served. Told waitress I was not happy about this service and was told my bill would have 20% deducted. The manager did not make any apology only via the waitress.

Was disappointed by the Oxforshire Inn, the place felt neglected and first impressions were not good. The staff were lacking the manager was quite rude. There was a funny smell of drains outside the rooms. The bed was comfortable and the room did warm up after some time, but the lack of a front door on the outside meant there was a howling gale under our bedroom door. Very strange place

Staff excellent; nicely proportioned rooms (and set up like small cottages of your own); good tv (Freeview); good (if basic) and tasty food (and lots of it). No real room service; couldn't get phone reception on either phone (o2 and Orange/T-mobile) at all (this isn't the hotel's fault, obviously! But I need my phones for work and had to walk outside in wind and rain to get a signal - I wouldn't have stayed there if I had known this). Room big but "bare", lack of facilities - no fridge; no room service; shower incredibly small/rather dirty; all a bit cheap and cheerful - which at £99 a night didn't represent good value for money.

The hotel was clean, tidy & comfortable. The staff were friendly & could not do enough to help. The restaurant food was very good. The room was uncomfortably hot & I could not find a hair dryer, but . it did not spoil the stay.
