I thought the Inn was beautiful. Very reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The bedrooms were far too hot; the heating shouldn't be on so high all night!

We were impressed with the friendly service and felt really at home there. The room we had was huge. Food in the bar was very good and reasonably priced, we liked everything about this hotel and would love to return in summer.

The Oxfordshire Inn was easy to find in a quiet rural location within easy reach of Blenheim , Stowe and Oxford City. The buildings were quite attractive and rooms well heated on a very chilly wet weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful . Beds were comfortable . Although the shower, basin and toilet were clean, the floor was filthy with an impressive accumulation of dust and fluff around the edges, showing that it had not been cleaned for weeks. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she made a note to have it cleaned but nothing happened so we wore our outdoor shoes to use the bathroom.

Quiet location near Oxford and easy access to motorway. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Heating turned off in our room until we complained, meant we had a cold start on a frosty morning. Food, hearty portions, but not very tasty, especially the sausages at breakfast.

No real ale in bar - very disappointing especially in Oxfordshire! As a result we only ate once in the restaurant - went to local pub. A pity, as the dinner itself was very good as was breakfast. Also, large size projector screen showing out-of-focus TV in main bar also very disappointing. Don't like TVs in bars at all. If you want to watch TV, go to your room! However, do expect to find coffee available in the bar at 9.30pm and it wasn't (nor was Baileys on our first night). Room was dusty on arrival but was clean after first night so no drama. All staff very friendly and helpful. All in all an OK stay spoilt for us by no beer or coffee and the TV The staff all seemed happy and cheerful. Easily the best part of our stay.

Our room needed a major overhaul and clean. It was thick with dust and smelt dirty. The carpets needed deep cleaning. Bathroom shower curtain stained, grouting stained and toilet smelled of urine.

Good size, modern room with pleasant countryside outlook in a courtyard setting Rather tired facilities in the main building, close to a working farmyard. Uninspiring approach road.

Friendly and helpful staff who want to improve and generate custom Reception staff listened to helpful pointers for improvement info on WIFI etc as below Really feel when we go back that the minor niggles will have been dealt with Thank you beautifully cooked and presented breakfast which was unfortunately cold by the time it was served:( Website and room booklet not up to date eg hair driers in all rooms but had to ask for one due to people stealing them and info about WIFI is only on the confirmation printout. These were mentioned at booking out and were gratefully received

The staff were friendly & most obliging in helping myself and my disabled wife around the site, both on arrival and at mealtimes. The location is good for the M40 junction coming from North/South direction. Having advised Booking.com of the need for a room within easy distance on the ground floor we were suprised to be allocated a first floor room at reception but this was swiftly remedied by the charming receptionist who helped us to the new room (on the ground floor) A new layout of the furniture would have helped within the room for access to the bathroom.
