Oxford Spires Four Pillars Hotel  

Leider waren wir nur 1 Nacht im Oxford Spires. Die Lage mitten in der Natur und doch sehr nahe am Zentrum von Oxford. Wir sind zwar immer mit dem Bus gefahren, die Haltestelle befindet sich aber gleich vor dem Hotel.

Sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Business/ Stadthotel. Schöne Lage im Grünen. Sehr gutes Früstücksbuffet. Freundliches Personal. Sehr gut ist zu bewerten das man in der Bar Abends Kleinigkeiten essen kann. Unabhängig vom Restaurant. Hervorragend gelegen um zu Fuß Oxford zu besuchen.

Hat seinen Preis. Kein Früstück im Standardpreis enthalten. Sehr lange Wege zu den Zimmern. Wenn die Hauptbeleuchtung im Zimmer (Deckenbeleuchtung) aus ist gehen die Nachtischlampen nicht mehr. Sehr unpraktisch, eigentlich unmöglich der Zustand.

Good location, friendly and efficient staff, restaurant is fine and reasonably priced. Free parking on-site and an easy walk into the city centre. Sauna, gym and pool too. Quiet location with no traffic noise.

Bed not very comfortable (too soft), lack of electric sockets near the bed (in fact only 2 in the whole room), no clock!

An absolutely superb hotel, fantastic staff and a spot on location. We had a lovely walk along the the river to the city centre, watching students rowing. Breakfast was good and well organised. I would recommend as a definate to anyone staying in Oxford.

I am sorry, I stay in around 15 hotels a year and this is the worst value hotel I have ever stayed at.

Very comfortable, convenient. Great to have handy access to leisure facilities.

The fire alarm went off at 7am on Monday!!

THe friendliness of the staff was great! Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to be helpful and considerate

Some of the public areas were a bit tired

We have always liked the location, just a 10 to 15 minute walk along the river into the City centre! From your hotel window the view is "country" even though you are so close to Oxford. Plenty of parking facilities at the hotel is a real bonus in Oxford. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and the food is very good. My husband regularly partakes of the "Full English" which sets him up for the day. Use of the leisure centre is an added bonus.

There is really nothing that we didn't like but would add that although the rooms are clean and tidy they sometimes lack enough furniture and "trimmings" to make it feel cozy.

Very good location for Oxford city centre

No sheets and blankets available, and the hot water wasn't hot enough..

I stayed in a seperate building from the main part of the hotel, it was just a one moments walk away. The room was wonderful, very clean, lots of lovely extras in the bathroom, bath robes, slippers, plenty of lovely towels. I felt secure with the card key, and the key turned off all electricity once you left the room, saving energy. Excellent swimming pool and spa area. The only small negative, was a staircase up to the room (1st floor only) as their no lift in this particular building and with a suitcase was a little tricky. Full or continental breakfast available I would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return.
