It was awful weather when we were there, but we had a lovely time, our family joined ud for a meal in the evening ,it was exellent and we were very .comfortable. Vegatarian meal options were too predictable and not very exiting. |

The hotel is ideally placed as a business hotel for Oxford. It is within easy reach of the centre on foot. |

For a four star hotel, i can't understand why don't you have a tap in the bathroom basin where hot and cold water can be mixed rather than the old days where you had two separate taps. Impossible to use hot water for washing hands or face. |

The old-fashioned spaciousness and comfort of my room, the quiet, the beautiful view from the window, the huge and deep bath tub and endless supply of really _hot_ water. I was really sorry to have to leave. Too many doors between reception and my room to manage lugging my heavy suitcase and carry-on bag without help. |

Very little to like about the hotel. It was not up to 4 star standard. There was no comfortable ambience, it was very cold and unwelcoming. The rooms were very shabby and the bathroom was awful. We did complain on checkout. |

Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening and left the morning after, so we could not try all the facilities/shared spaces etc. that the hotel offers. The room was really nice and the view from our window was absolutely beautiful. We woke up and what we first saw were the fields with a lot of horses put out to pasture. :) |

Nice hotel for a family break, good leisure facilities, close to oxford On checking out found that they had added an extra £170 to my bill which I had to get refunded, which really put a dampner on the experience. |

The staff were very extremly polite and helpfull. The hotel is located within a very pleasent distant to walk along the riverside to a nice pub. The hotel bedrooms need some attention and are a bit worn out - the bathroom in 29 needs some urgent attention and does not meet 4 star which i believe is given for amenities, lifts etc and not bedroom status or guest comfort. |

Good location Definitely not good value for money. The room was of the standard of an average type b&b and the lights didn't all work properly. It is not a terrible hotel, but definitely not good value for the rates they charge. I would not recommend. |

Our English country house, in the town of Oxford, is set within three acres of well designed mature tree lined gardens. On arrival there is at once a sense of calm...a tranquil oasis. |
The Falcon B&B is a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre, and has views of the college boathouses. |
Centrally located just off the Oxford High Street, this former 17th century coaching inn has been renovated over recent years and now fuses a sense of tradition with modern comforts. |
Originally a private residence dating back to the Edwardian era, the hotel offers a range of well appointed bedrooms, all with en suite facilities. |
