Rooms were very large and clean. Food quality is very good at this hotel
Location, efficiency of staff, Cleanliness, facilities, food
Staff were really friendly, nice place, even dealt with a minor problem without too much trouble, really good location wise and will definitely have to play a round next time!
The wi-fi wasn't working, which is a bit of a pain, phone reception is a bit iffy (more the location than the hotels problem of course) and the breakfast wasn't all that brilliant...especially for the price.
Everything. Room well appointed, clean, spacious. Staff friendly, food very tasty. Handy location for M5.
Couldn't fault anything
Setup for family of five was brilliant - interconnecting rooms, with one double and one triple room. Kids had own bathroom and TV! Very enjoyable dinner - excellent service, flexible in accommodating kids choices
Clean rooms Good facilities Friendly staff
The staff are hpful, kind and efficient. The public are. Reception, bar and restaurant are convenient and close, and the bedrooms spacious with comfortable beds.
For dinner my companion had a veal escalope of dubious provenance that he couldn't eat
Clean modern room. Good pub grub in bar
Noisey at back of building near kitchens
Room was spacious comfortable and spotless. Papers were delivered to room early. Requests were dealt with promptly by friendly staff. Within walking distance of town and local amenities.
Only one packet of biscuits between 2 people on first day. No shower cap provided in bathroom.
Good location, convenient to M5 Very quiet and peaceful.
Breakfast, bacon over cooked and leathery, with tinned tomatoes!
Very friendly staff only to happy to help. Nice setting. Excellent service from the staff that we met.
Breakfast wasn't the best although this may have been due to being a Sunday and the hotel not being very busy. So the food may have been there a while.
Really friendly and helpful staff (on phone and in person), easy to get to, room a good size, quiet.
The Hotel overall was very good
The food was poor
I liked the homely atmosphere and very helpful staff . We enjoyed the welcome we were able to give to a lovely cat who tackled the stream of guests eager to stroke him with very good grace . Thank you Padbrooke
First room we were allocated intially was a bit pokey
Good size room, clean bathroom.
Had a problem with the hot water (something had tripped!) and the TV was almost unwatchable as it kept turning itself off.
The staff were friendly and make up for the minus points however I would not stay again.
It was just a one night stay for a function, I would not stay as a relaxing break, a tad minimal on facilities and ambience - reminded me of basic training course accommodation/catering. Basic is the word.
Good location friendly helpful staff good food good choice. clean and modern.
Nothing not to dislike.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was very cold and the sheet with the blanket was simply not enough to keep me warm. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and so I only had a couple of hours sleep, after travelling for 5 hours and the next day having to make the same trip, this was not ideal.
The Sports bar and main restaurant areas were cold. Window in our room did not close properly - room 208. Even though the breakfast was good it is over priced.
Central location, plenty of parking, helpful staff, Padbrook cat, clean room, nice and quiet.
UHT milk in room, room was cold at night, luke warm shower, no iron!
location perfect to visit family. quiet.
wifi difficult to connect to. room very cold on first night. no hot water at 10pm on one evening. stray cat allowed to wander in public areas including restaurant (albeit when closed) and sit on sofa. only one hot chocolate sachet and one packet of biscuits left each day for a double occupancy room. no breakfast included.
nice and modern, clean and well presented
sofa at lobby, I thought it was a dog bed lol. def. does not suit with the rest of hotel
The food was lovely
The room was a bit dated
