Hyde Park Apartments  

Good location within London and had basic facilities to cater for your stay.

Hot water would not last for more than 2 minutes, this affected shower and all sinks. If you are unlucky to get a room on top floor, that's 5 flights of stairs with no lift option. Walls were extremely thin so noise from other guests was irritating.

The location and price were good but our selling point was the two bedrooms and fully furnished apartments. We had two couples and two children. They even had baby utensils. We bought groceries at a convenience store a block over and it really helped with expenses. Most Everything is in walking distance or the tube is close by and easy to use. Free WIFI in the apt! Friendly staff. Apartment is cute and updated.

The beds were very uncomfortable! You can literally feel the springs. The walls are very thin so if you're a light sleeper this may not be the apartment for you. They don't clean during your stay but you get fresh towels every few days. It would be nice if they would supply a broom at least for sweeping during a long stay. Still a great deal/location/place.

location is good

i booked this for my parents unfortunately they where given an appartment which was on the third floor with no lifts the last flight of stairs was very narrow not ideal with luggage after much insisting to receptionist they where finally moved to a lower floor after the third day there not an ideal start to a holiday for a mature couple.

The apartment is clean, centrally located

Lots of maintenance issues. No hot water at night. Tv does not work, no clothes dryer . not accessible for elderly

Location, space in the apartment. Kitchen area was clean.

Beds were not very comfy, not enough hot water for 5 showers in the morning! Two had to have a cold one!

Cleaning

The location is ideal with taxis in abundance, and buses too! eWe found a comfortable, clean apartment, and tried to leave it just so!!

The long climb up to the 3rd floor. No towels provided for the kitchen, not even a 1st paper towel roll. However, I thought the equipment provided was good

My stay there was not nice at all because I was put in the basement room with my old mum who found it difficult to use the stairs. I complained several times but they refused to change the apartment.

Leaving

No hot water had to call twice. In the end gave up. The reception to check in is in a different street to the hotel there was no information regarding this floors were scratched. Shower leaked

Well equipped. Efficient service at check in. Location to transport, deli, food.

Dusty. Roll out bed broken. Beds uncomfortable. Dishwasher broken. Rubbish was not removed.

Can accommodate five person.

Price and location were good.

The walk from reception to the room. The apartment needs a lot of maintenance, the shower was a little dangerous in that it sprayed UP against the ceiling and light fittings. Kitchen area was ok but we didn't use it at all.

Location

Stairs, a warning would have been good we not that young and getting the bags up the stairs was hard. Knobs broken on oven.

Nothing was worst night in London ever

First room - basement room 8 craven hill. security lock on front door not working - door left open all day and night. Room full of mould to see and smell, overpowering ? Health and safety breach. Bathroom door did not close., bed falling appart, mattress unacceptable. Moved to second room - inverness terrace. Front of house room ground floor, windows do not close therefore freezing cold in winter. Constant noise from street and other guests throughout the night early hours banging front door. Unable to sleep.

The accomadation was in a quiet area, but not too far away from the city. It was clean and well maintained.

Hotel is wonderfull Apartments are very cosy and there is free wifi. Hotel is situated 3 mins walk form Hyde Park and 15 mins walk from Oxford Stree. What else do you need while visiting London? )))

the only shortcoming is that reception is situated rather far from the apartments) anyway you can check-in after leaving you luggage with you friends/family at the apartments

The apartment is very close to the shopping places, the park, the tube and the bus stops. Also there are restaurants and markets around.

The walls are very thin. The beds were very uncomfortable. The quilts were dirty.

Location

Nothing to wash cups with( and there was only 2) , blind was broken so couldn't open it, something wrong with lights as kept turning themselves off, dimmer light switch didn't work so only had full brightness of spot lights, Internet connection was so slow couldn't even search on google.

F It was not what I was expecting. The reception is in one adress and the rooms are in another one. There was a couple who aparently live in the appartment above the one I stayed that almost broke their intire apartment two nights in a roll because they were fighting. Terrible.

really clean, warm, spacious apartments close to Hyde Park an d two tube stations. Would definitely stay here again.

bit of a strong paint smell in the studio apartment but the brand new bathroom that was causing it was worth it.

The only thing we liked was the bathroom and the location

The bed was very uncomfortable. I was not able to use the oven and there were no instructions on how to use. When I went to make toast on the second morning the toaster blew a fues and the tv went off. There was no mirror close to an electric socket. On Saturday mornin g we could not get out of the front door and had to ask another resident to help, who then had to force the door open.
