Nothing at all. I made a big mistake by booking this hotel. I reached the hotel at 10pm and got a room at 2am. It took them four hours to get me a room.I Had booked two rooms and was travelling with an infant. I had booked a superior double bed room and they had intially given me a twin bed room. I checked in and I realised that I was cheated. I had to shout at the manager and the staff and all of them were helpless and did not help. They then showed me one double bed, which was gain very dirty and dingy. That night i was at the reception for four hours and each and every person that was there was facing similar issues. I could count atleast 10-12 customers who were yelling at the reception to get things sorted out. Booking.com is putting its reputation at stake by adding such kind of hotels to your list. Pls remove it. I will never want to stay here for free also.

Had booked a superior double room and first got a single room in the basement. Then finally got a double room on the ground floor, right to the street, with a window without shutters. Bedlights were not working and the room was not very clean (lots of dust on the window).

I have nothing favorable to say about this establishment. At best it is an "F" level motel. See my comments below. Do not stay here or any of the other hotels or motels owned by this conglomerate. They advertise as being within 11 miles of Heathrow and suck in unsuspecting travelers with early flights. They are really in the outskirts of London (at least a 1/2 hour from Heathrow with no traffic) and you would be better advised staying a reputable hotel in London. This is a sleazebag operation owned by sleasebag owner. This is one of a group of hotels in the area owned by the same conglomerate that cater and take advantage of unsuspecting travelers. It is a total rip off. They advertise their "hotels" as 4 stars...but I would have a hard time classifying their hotels as even hotels. My room was the size of a closet with a single bed. The bed, towels and sheets were terrible. The motel is not clean. Booking.com should not represent these hotels. You would be better off sleeping on a park bench!

the location was what we expected , facilities were basic but clean . The rooms were really really small kept banging my back on the tv when trying to get round to my side of the bed ., i am quite slim and also found it difficult to turn around in the shower cubicle . The staff were difficult to communicate with and at times dismissive . .

There was a problem with the electrics in the room but it was repaired immediately. I have stayed at this groups hotels in London 6 times and twice they have shunted me off to another hotel with a lame excuse that they had a problem. I choose a hotel for value and location therfore do not expect to be moved to another part of London. If they have a genuine problem they should warn people in advance. This appears to be a company policy to fill other hotels by the amount of Guests they move around. I like the hotels and the staff are usualy helpful but I will need to confirm I am staying at that specific hotel or I wont use them again.

Only a 5 minute walk from Paddington. A number of good places to eat near by After reading reviews they highlighted the small room size I booked a suite hoping it would be a decent size. This was not the case, frustratingly small room for 2 people.

The staff at the hotel were rude, abrasive, aggressive and altogether unpleasant to deal with during our stay. We were utterly surprised by the lack of hospitality and low standard of service. There were too many incidents to describe but I will definitely not stay at the Best Western Paddington again or recommend it to anyone.

Certainly not the staff, who was not very friendly and quite rude. I had booked a spacious room and we ended up in the basement opposite the hotel, in a small room. The booking reservation details on www.booking.com said we could book in at 2 pm but had to wait until 3pm.There was supposed to be a fresh fruit basket in the room but there was nothing so we asked for it and someone brought us one banana and two apples! Twice during our stay, and especially the last day, the phone rang very early in the morning, waking us up but we had not asked for it. Maybe it was a way to make us leave asap to clean the bedroom for the next customers? Honestly, the only positive point was the location, but it won't be enough for me to come back.

Night staff were very helpful and welcoming when I arrived. Some of the day staff and the manager were also very helpful. My room was quiet and airy, great when you want rest from the London bustle. Where can I write complaints then? I wish to complain about the way some day staff dealt with me when I was checking out. I paid the night staff on arrival for my stay an was told breakfast was incuded. When checking out, some day counter staff insisted that this was not the case and that the night staff could not have said that it was. Because of the fact that I was indirectly, repeatedly and stridently being called a liar, I insisted on speaking to the manager who was extremely gracious and sorted out the problem. It is very important that counter staff do not treat customers like this and I was definitely not treated in this way at the Best Western Hotel in Berlin, where staff and facilities were excellent.Could I also mention that teh iron in my room in your Paddington hotel was unusable.

Good location, the free internet connection in the room was a pleasant surprise, as it was advertised to have free internet connection in the public areas only. Comfortable beds, all accessories needed in the room (ironing, shoe polishing etc)

Spacious Deluxe room turned out o be a small room in the basement (!) with a stinky coorridor. Heating was not working, so it was extremelly cold. On/off button on the remote controller was not working either. I was moved to another room the next day, I have found some dead flies on the carpet and some turkish coins. The hotel is suppossed to have 4 stars. I would give 1,5 at max - not for that price.

We just felt relaxed and comfortable , close to the heart of the city yet in a peaceful area. The staff were excellent, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. They were smart, polite, helpful and professional. While we were very pleased with our suite and thought we had got a good deal, the television did not work, but the it specialist chap got on to it straight away and it was sorted later. As we were getting ready to check out next morning, the lights failed! One of those things though . . . no-one's fault really.

The location is nearby to the underground station which is within walking distances. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at Best Western. The hotel sometimes undergo some renovations and it's inconvenience for us. However, we were grateful as our room had been upgraded.

“Excellent staff and location, the staff are the No1 factor for a stay at this hotel. The location close to the city centre and transport connections is excellent. Oxford Street is within walking distance (15-20 mins) and Queensway is only 5 minutes away for reasonably priced restaurants. ” Gerry, Kilcock |
