Room was small but well equipped, there was everything we needed and it was fantastically desuigned to give real luxury. We were not expecting a full size fridge and microwave so this was an added bonus. We also arrived at the hotel early and it was no problem to check our bags in and leave them there for the day so that we cold go sight seeing, we did the same on the day we left, cheked our bags in in the morning and picked them up in the nevening before our train home. |

We were given a room in a newly refurbished building and we might have been the first guests there! Because we had to be given a room other than the one we initially got, we ended up in a very big double room. Checking in was very chaotic and lenghty. It took ages to be given a room and we had to wait in a very small and crowded lounge. They said this problem was due to the fact that new rooms were opening for the first time during that weekend. In addition, were initially given a (very small) room in the basement floor, where the smell of paint was unbearable and the window couldn't be opened for S&S reasons. We were eventually accomodated in another room but the Wireless connection didn't work and nobody was able to fix it during the whole stay. |

free internet access, bar area near reception, king sized bed (I wasn't expecting that) staff could have been friendlier, but there wasn't really anything wrong and my perception may have been skewed by the reviews |

I was happy to see that the hotel introduce complimentary items in the room. In my previous visit in 2003 that was not the case. The breakest was good but changing it every two days to add some variety would be good. |

The room was comfortable and bathroom was clean The staff didn't seem very helpful, and we would have appreciated a bit more professionalism from their service as well. |

Booked a Double Superior for our stay, given room 411 (4th floor). Hotel was extremely clean with a very modern (but small) bar area. No street noise in the room due to the floor and no other noise from neighbours so was a peaceful stay. Room beautifully finished and bathroom with power shower was lovely. Room cleaned and tidied everyday also to high standards. We never ate in the hotel as breakfast seemed a bit expensive at 15 per head but plently of pub's and local cafe's to grab a bite to eat. Overall a good stay :) Room was quite small, barely a double bed with just enough room to walk around it but i think this is typical of London. Also couldn't switch off the tv at night and ended up pulling out the power cable but it was pretty minor |

Within 20 minutes you're in the center. The zone is peacefull, so you can walk alone also at midnight. No space to put away your clothes. It is realy small. It's not a problem but not even your coat you can hang somewhere..... |

The room was very comfortable with extra special facilities, such as the bath robes, slippers and chocolates when the bed was turned down. The breakfast had a good variety of choise. The room was very hot and it was difficult to know what was included and complementary. |

Staff was not very professional, but the worst thing was the location of the first room, in the basement under countless, corridors like a maze. It looked being on the basement of a big ship. I felt lost and claustrofobic and felt that should there be a fire I would have definitely died inside. Room was under ground level, with high up window. The room was tiny and too warm but I did not feel like keeping the window open in case rats could crawl in (beind basically underground). I asked to change room and I was moved across the road, in a room equally small (a very single bed with not even room to walk around it) and the room was on a third floor, reachable only through tiny staircase and no lift (4 star hotel! where???) |

Facility was modern - liked the free internet in the room. Wasn't too far from buses and underground, but was a couple blocks away from things. Rooms were small and showers were extremely small....could use a little more space in the rooms and showers.....Also, getting to the room was a nightmare - up one set of stairs, down another, around corners...took forever to find room and get there with luggage without being worn out. |

It was close to the subway, this allowed us to travel to and from tourist attractions. The room we had was a basement room it was very small and the air in the room was stuffy. We opened the window to our room which had to be closed due to a loud noise from the outside. |

First of all the location it is very nice, close to Hyde Park and very close to the shopping centers. Second of all the hotel was very very nice, clean, modern. The personnel was very friendly, I had the most beautiful surprise to meet there lovely, friendly Romanian people. The breakfast was amazing, lot of goodies, a perfect English breakfast or continental if you wanted, a lot of food. What I liked the best was that the restaurant was very big and they had lot of tables so we didn't have to wait not even a second. Usually at some hotels you need to wait because they don't have too much room and you need to wait to get a free table. Next time when I go to London I will definitely book this hotel again. It is a very nice area as well. |
