No frills hotel
Room was caked with dust, carpet badly stained, hair in the bed and around the toilet, mold and mildew around the shower. the room was so cold we had to go out and buy PJ's. walls were paper thin could here other guests mobiles ringing in the night.
Reception staff excellent and very friendly
Overflowing bins in car park.could do with paint job
Great value for money.
It was so cheap that I cannot complain!
The staff accommodated my dislike of Pepsi & bought coke-a-cola. Breakfast was superb, lots to choose from.
The shower silicon needs replaced. Was very black & spoilt the look of a very nice shower.
Very good price for the location
Bit tatty and run down but friendly so don't be put off by the appearance when you first arrive
The price for a double room with breakfast was reasonable and the hotel was very easy to find, just off the M6 motorway.
The bed was very uncomfortable with hard pillows and loose springs. The shower looked unclean as the grout was black. Quite dated interior
The staff were very helpful and well mannered.
The smelly room. The two single bed Lack of amenities.
booking in wrong person same surname. when given key no fob only no key on it. walked up to room with master key and the lights on corridor didn't work so trying to find key with mobile .gave up was given another room shower rail hanging of ceiling
Condition of the hotel Bedding dirty Hotel dirty Shower head tapped together with insulation tape Mattress badly worn out and lumpy!! Basically in 3 years the hotel has gone from awesome to horrendous!!!
Room was extremely dated and dirty ie spider's webs, dirty carpet, taps not working etc. We moved to a newly refurbished room which was comfortable but breakfast was appalling. Tried to charge me over the odds on departure.
breakfast was great value for money, the staff were very helpful and friendly
the carpets in the room where a little old and dirty

badly stained, dirty carpet in my room and a distinct smell of cigarette smoke in spite of a clear "No Smoking " sign on the room door.

Beds very hard and the shower had alot of lime scale round the shower head (did not use with my over night stay)
Very good value and a nice room.
The shower needed a bit of attention.
Wifi, peaceful settings
Value for money. Breakfast was good.
Cleanliness of shower was in question.
Rowdy guests slamming doors half the night. No remote control or towel in room took 2 visits to reception, finally received an hour later. Had a pint and a burger in the bar, another challenge
Overall felt that hotel was a bit neglected.
staff were fine, breakfast was ok bedroom ok
door on no 5 not sercure pointed this out need a new mixer tap for bath/shower as slow flow hard to regulate shower rail broken at wall end loose at the roof support
Our stay was definitely value for money. After travelling all day we were really tired, the beds were really comfortable so we had a great nights sleep. The staff were pleasant, especially the bartender James who gave us great advice on the surrounding area (we were attending a festival there). The food was ridiculously cheap, which was an added bonus.
Our room and en-suite could have definitely been cleaner, but for what we paid we couldn't complain.
I left after only one night. The room's walls and widows were filthy. There is a need to update decor. There was only a locked flimsy door between me and the people next door. I had to ask them to turn music down. They came back drunk talking loudly and left abruptly about 0615. I felt there was a gang of them with a leader. As a woman I felt extremely unsafe in this 'hotel'. I decided to travel home next day. I was not asked why I was leaving early. It was inappropriate to put them next door to me. No I would not recommend this place to any one let alone a lone woman.
Breakfast. Could be a lot better.
Shower door s not safe....
The whole stay there. It is in a very sorry state and there is nothing positive I can say about the Hotel.Poor service, poor breakfast, unclean.and I feel that the premises are unsafe to stay in this being in relation to certain electrical appliances!!
