There was no breakfast left when we went down!!
free wifi decent breakfast easy to find off M6 and well signposted could take a pet in no problem staff friendly and helpful decent parking
rooms very drab and dirty rooms had not been hoovered properly bath was dirty with hairs in it one room had no toilet roll carpets were old and stained fairly noisy with doors banging limited menu in bar
The car park
Cobwebs in bedroom broken lights dirty black hairs in bath.this is a dirty hotel worse than faulty towers
Only one member of staff for front and bar, shower head taped together with tape,tv kept going down. Odered stuff on tv and as it kept going down we ended up paying twice.
breakfast choice as a buffet was very good all food hot and very tasty compliments to the chef
room was very small and dated
Quirky building Friendly staff Price
Not very clean Mattress was very old and could feel all the springs Problems with fizzy drinks at bar Badly organised at breakfast
The food not very good.good pub across the road very good food. Room the bed was not made cups not cleaned after using them for 35 pounds per for night suspected more
Room stank of stale cigarette smoke (and I'm a smoker!!!) damp, cold, hot tap not attached, cold tap didn't work at all, toilet sounded like someone was drilling when flushed, mould on walls, carpet dated back to the time before vacuum cleaners, basically overpriced at even the 'reduced' rate of £35, should have been around£15 - £20 to make it value for money
Arrived at booked time to find no one at reception and took a few mins, and help from other guests, to find receptionist who then couldn't find the room key. Traipsed all round creaky outdated hotel to find someone already in room. Receptionist then disappeared while had to find out own way back, more struggling with luggage. Ended up with a choice of a twin or double with broken toilet! Then the staff more than redeemed themselves by sourcing a different hotel, albeit on other side of town, and paying the difference in cost. New hotel was lovely :-)
Poorly organised. Very outdated.
The room was very dirty the walls were dirty the carpets with dirty the ceiling in the bathroom had a patch what was falling off I wasnt happy with my stay when you go to a hotel yoi expect it to be nice not dirty
Really good Full English Breakfast
Mold around bath No soft closures on any doors
The front desk staff were so professional and awesome - the service they rendered to me in terms of assistance in find my way around Manchester was more value than the money I paid.
Bar staff were brilliant.
Lack of cleanliness, cobwebs hanging off the ceiling, in the bathroom, ripped carpet, fly's buzzing around the breakfast area, hair in the condiments, cold coffee, bed springs poking through the mattress, broken handle on bedroom window and no heating, had to wait ages for food when it was not even busy!!! I did not enjoy my stay one little bit.
Everything else this so called hotel was a complete joke after asking to be moved we were taken to a slightly cleaner room but I still wouldn't have put my worst enemy here the place is unclean very dated and tired the best thing to happen to this place would be to demolish it and start again
Very friendly staff. We did have some issues with the room but the staff were really helpful and quick to try and rectify things.
The hotel decor is very outdated. The whole place needs modernising. Our room wasnt serviced we had to ask for dry towels, clean cups, more milk, tea and coffee and we made the bed ourselves. The smoke alarm kept beeping all night. Resturant closed. Reception was unmanned a lot as staff seem thin on the ground.
Place was a bit tired, needs upgrading
The wifi was ok and the location is good for the M6
The breakfast was poor. No fresh food all stuck to the bottom. No tea unless I ask. No white bread for toast no bacon. I could not have a shower as the taps were broken and when I managed to turn the tap on the head fell off and I was scolded with hot water. The room was dirty and a rubbish tv with no remote control so I could not use it. All I got was excuses from reception and attitude. I don't expect much for £43 but this hotel is a disgrace.
dirty cutlery bathroom had black mould hotel was tied and needs refurb
We booked at short notice and we were suprised that the price for double room included breakfast for both of us.Although there was no evening meal available we were told that a local pub 2 minutes walk away did food.We both thought it was ideal for one or two nights stay and would probably stay there again.
Polite staff/ good wifi.
Overall standard of hotel,we are used to 3 Starr hotel, this was a 2 Starr.
Abdul, recieved me very professionally, and also re directed me to a second room after seeing the 1st rooms massive list of major problems, well done Abdul.
This run down, dirty, disgusting,he'll of a place must be avoided at all costs. Pubic hairs on the sheets, toe nails on the floor, broken fittings, mouldy wallpaper, taps loose, mattress ruined, wall light above bed fell down! This place is certainly the most disgusting place that I have ever had the misfortune to come across! NEVER AGAIN!
Good location - manager and staff tried hard
Contract booked to a firm for night workers who came in all hours so only got a couple of hours sleep - manager explained that they had 15 (about double the usual) at short notice, so couldn't restrict to the back part of the building.
