Score from 303 reviews Very good
Plumbing noise from next door room, loud banging of door in corridor.
Breakfast are excellent
Shower was not great.
Location was good.
There was a black hair in my coffee cup in my room - yuck! The taps made a lot of noise when turned on.
Conveniently located off motorway 20mins from Manchester & easy to find. Nice pub within short walking distance with home cooked food. Price. Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Super powerful hot shower.
The view from the bedroom window. However for one night I can cope with looking at a brick wall.
Helpful and relaxed attitude of the staff who work hard. Quiet location.
A bit run down
Food is very good
The rooms were spacious. Beds very comfortable and very friendly staff.
I didn't like the bed and cleanisenes of the room
Enjoyed the breakfast and bar at nights
The staff didn't made my room for the next day booking, that put me off a bit..
Location, Comfort and above all Free Wi-fi...
The was lumpy, the toilet was difficult to flush and didn't flush properly when it did.
It was close to where we needed to be. Shower was good.
Quiet location and quiet in the property.
all of the hotel is in urgently need of decoration, my shower was mouldy,
helpful and friendly staff
rooms are small and décor a little dated now
A really good breakfast to set us up for our journey to Braemar.
Room looked very tired and the cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking. Mold on shower spray head etc. Wouldn't use it for a family stay unless it gets a make over
Conveniently located to where i was working, was fie for a business trip. Very price competitive and breakfast was good.
Noise.. a wedding function ensured my floor boards rattled til the early morning..very annoying.. and not a situation to complain about .. afterall it's not the bride and grooms fault..the hotel should consider OTHERS comfort when acceoting wedding bookings
As a budget hotel you get what you pay for
Room was clean, but wallpaper peeling off, but as it was £45 per night including breakfast I don't think you can complain about that.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable.
Very clean bathroom facilities.
No staff to assist with breakfast - had to request marmalade, had to request butter. No one offered to assist with more food to fill up buffet stand! Last time i would stay here
Shower cold in the morning. Room not very inevitable. Breakfast poor
Other guests slamming doors late at night and early in the morning.
The location, parking facilities, friendly staff.
Was dying for a cup of coffee after a night shift just to find the kettle was filthy even after I'd boiled it a couple of times. I even had to repair my room door.
I stayed at this hotel for several nights. When I arrived first day I was given a room with a window that cannot be shut. It was so obvious yet they seemed not to have noticed it. The attendant tried to fix it but could not. Then I was given a second room that had its own problems; it was not cleaned at all after the previous occupant. The bedsheets were unchanged, bins not emptied, uses cups not wishes, empty soft drink bottle on the table and the floor not hoovered. Despite the clear evidence the attendant attempted to deny the fact that the room has not been cleaned but quickly changed his mind. I was offered a third room which was barely acceptable even as a budget hotel. When I returned from work for the second night I was shocked to find that no one had entered my room to tidy it. The carpet throughout the hotel is in a very poor state and not neat. There was no proper soap in the shower. The soap in the shower was the foam sort you will find in the toilets at motorway service stations for hand washing which I did not like at all. The double rooms are much smaller than you would expect. I experienced unpleasant smells in the corridors. This hotel is not values for money. Travelodge is luxury compared to this hotel yet they are in the same price range. Will I stay there again? Only if I am convinced of significant improvement. After my stay I moved straight to a travelodge hotel which I found was at a much higher standard and yet cheaper; it is 2.5 times further away from work but still much better value.
The staff were friendly. Close to Warrington town centre so was convenient for getting to work.
Toilets need a proper clean
Location is great, nice and quiet, lovely staff, bar is good, food excellent
Nothing ,it's spot on.
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the WiFi is fantastic and they have a bar, would stay there again.
From the very start the staff were efficient and friendly. The premises were fine and at a good location.
Mould on walls in bedroom - mould in shower - filthy carpets - generally dirty - no loo rolls, remote and only 1 towel. The people in room above were making such a racket that my grandson was in tears in fear that they would come through the ceiling! They were also very vocal in their mating! Sleazy hotel booked for three days and moved out after one horrible night. Food was just as bad as the rest of the facilities. Even the receptionist was tucking in to her stew and mash from a Tupperware container whilst I was speaking to her. Would have preferred not to have paid for the one night. I would advise that you do not advertise for this hotel - awful! A really upsetting experience
