food, entertainment, club chalet, all good!
bed was a bit small, need more choice of beers,
the food was good the staff were helpful the units were clean and the location was good close to the beach the camp was laid out nicely the entertainment was of high standard and the other guests were nice people it was a nice relaxing weekend well done to the staff for making it so
On the whole very good
4pm check in time is too late
Able to be completely independent and private, no interference from staff or other guests. Food, location, choice to be away from other people,. brilliant value for money
Although relatively new, the main lounge bar feels very dated and gloomy, not a place to relax with a drink. The new sea view bar is great however. No one on reception on arrival at 6pm. Had to go back to Security at gate to collect keys and check in. .
Entertainment on site, selection of food
Accommodation requires up dating
Food, beds, room,
Food and choice of food was excellent. Basic room with ensuite was adequate. Location was lovely. Overall really liked everything and will go back.
Reception needs to be marked clearer and the fact that you can park on the yellow lines outside to book in. Also made clearer that no towels supplied, but bed linen is supplied.
double room had microwave toaster and kettle， good hot shower， extra 2 bunk beds， easy parking
mattresses too springy， bed linen too thin but brand new， no towels provided
Long queues for food.
Value for money you get a good breakfast and dinner , the drinks are cheap , accommodation isn't great but over all well worth going and nice beach pretty much on site
Bed was uncomfortable
Food and entertainment
The bed was very bad
Breakfasts were very good, Staff very helpful and friendly.
Evening meals were not not so good. If you went early there were long queues, if you went a little later food was limited and not very appetising. Mattress on one of the beds very uncomfortable with prominent springs.
Food was just perfect for our family plenty of choice and plenty of it. Entertainment was top class and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Pool was great too.
Beds were a little uncomfortable and sheets very slippy which made it difficult to make the bunk beds each daty
The entertainment also the park had a good atmosphere.
The chalet could have been a lot cleaner. The park looks a bit dated but if they put a bit of effort it could be better.
Food was good
Queuing for food perhaps have sittings for blocks of chalets so it doesn't seem so long to get served
It was good value for the money and the food was good.
The chalet could do with a lot of up grading..
The entertainment was ok. The food was ok. The park was ok. The value for money was amazing
The mattress was not good
the environment the facilities
the food the entertainment
The entertainment was brilliant the grounds were kept lovy and a nice mix of facilities on site
The room was a massive let down. The bathroom was filthy with hair every whete. So disappointing wen everything else was great.
The location was perfect for us the food was basic but really nice. Rooms were basic but ok, shower was small and cramped. Mattress could do with an update though. Staff were amazing and helped us with our queries. Bluecoats were wonderful as well. Would highly recommend going especially if you have children, we will be going again with our little boy sometime in the near future.
Thankyou to one gentleman and lady (contract staff and cleaner, we believe) who directed us to reception area and our chalet).these down to earth kind of people seem to be forgotten but usually are the ones who keep these type of facilities open. As a person who has cleaned hotel rooms in the past, I understand the pressure one can be under to complete each room to a certain standard...our room was fairly clean, considering the type of accomodation it was.
No welcome or smile at reception! No assistance in regards to location of chalet booked. The sheets were a complete joke(polyester). We thought the booking was for a room (no children as stated), however the rooms next door were allocated to families with many children...the walls may as well have been made of paper!!! We have children of our own and understand this location is focussed on families, however we did not feel it was at all suited for a good nights rest after a long journey. The lighting outside our side of chalets was non existant and the cleanliness (cobwebs everywhere outside....the front door seemed stiff to open and possibly falsed at some point for entry by other customers staying. Overall, a disappoinment due to no real communication or friendliness shown throughout our short stay before we visited family members locally. We will not be returning or recommending this location to any friends or family members, naturally.
The dirty chalet that had not even been cleaned.
Food was awful had to make own bed and sheets where thin silk. Arcade was dier and entertainment was rubbish plus gift shop was lacking anything interesting.
Accommodation was adequate and bedding was clean. Swimming pool had about 4 lifeguards. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. The man on the gate was very helpful.
Dinning was a nightmare with lots of queuing nowhere to sit and tables not cleared. The entertainments theatre was always packed so again nowhere to sit. One person on reception desk was not very polite.
The bluecoats worked very hard and enjoyed their work. the room was comfortable, and the camp was well kept.
The restaurant was terrible needs to be sorted out the queues were so long ,it took 35 mins the line up for a salad so no time for dinner as queues were still long, the staff in the restaurant were rude when asked why no cups were out "there's to many people" maybe 2 hours isn't long enough for everyone to eat, then as soon as 7 o'clock came all the food was taken away staff never cleaned tables either
