Large room. Cleanliness. Friendly staff. Stayed in room 316 with window at front of hotel. The traffic noise and the revellers on the street outside kept me awake until 3am. No double glazing.

It was ok nothing special, really tall room. Different experience. Our room was right beside the train track, any closer and it would have gone through it. The parking was off site and the charge for a motorcycle overnight was £8.50

Location was perfect Such a shame that the lobby, corridor areas are in dire need of refurbishment. A grand building waning. However the rooms do not reflect the general areas and are modern, clean and comfortable. A pleasant stay on the whole

the location near public transportation and the city centre drunk people screaming and singing during the Friday and Saturday night in the street right in front of hotel. The hotel is obviously not responsible but you can't sleep very well The room was dusty

Character of the Hotel, especially the reception, bar and restaurant. Mezzanine Floor bedroom was tired and had obscure glass. Overall it did not suggest a good quality room. Room on 2nd floor was quirky, but very pleasant, it would have been good to see a room similar to the ones you use in the website gallery.

My room was perfect and pretty much in the ideal location for shopping and going out. I had a problem with checking in, I asked for a late checkout on arrival only to find the next day it hadn't been put on my account despite me paying for it. It was soon resolved.

Both my wife and I liked the Building itself , but that is about all . We did`nt like the adapted bathroom we were allocated on arrival , did`nt like the fact we were not told . Did`nt like the " Superier Room " we were given after asking to change . Did`nt like sleeping in a Cold Dark Draughty room .Did`nt like not having a fridge . Did`nt like being awake from 3am listening to the public`s conversation 5 floors below through the paper thin windows .Did`nt like the heating working , etc etc etc ..

Location Room size Room was sweltering with no way to cool down as windows don't open & thermo didn't do anything. Right by the train track so very noisy at the back but front would have been too noisy because of the road. Bathroom far too small for 2 people and very basic. Due to temp of room a fridge would be a good idea so we could have cold water on our return.

Reception staff very polite and helpful. The bath in my room was too high to get into and out of, I am not disabled in anyway, but am only 5ft 2" tall and it was impossible for me to get in and out of the bath unaided, I'm not sure what I would have done if I had been travelling alone. I waited 45 mins in the bar on Thursday afternoon for a pizza, and that was only after my husband asked where it was. The tea served at breakfast was the worst tea I have ever tasted, I suggest that tea making lesson be given to those in question, I finally asked for a pot of hot water and a teabag.

location is good and in vicinity of all city centre attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel needs a refurb and good clean. The first room we were shown to had wallpaper hanging off the wall, we complained and were moved to a room which was slightly better.
