The Glen Mhor Hotel offers Victorian townhouses and apartments located on the banks of the River Ness, a 3-minute walk from Inverness city centre and a 15-minute drive from Loch Ness.
Score from 1242 reviews Good
Situated in central Inverness, Ardross Glencairn is just 5 minutes’ walk from the river and 15 minutes from the bus and rail station.
Score from 1290 reviews Very good
This stylish, 4-star property sits on the banks of the River Ness and is 800 metres from Inverness city centre.
Score from 426 reviews Very good
This grand hotel has a great location in the heart of Inverness, yet in a quiet area with splendid views of the River Ness and Inverness Castle.
Score from 584 reviews Good
Clean Hrwat customer service excellent staff and close proximity to old Inverness. Very enjoyable. Thank you
Would have liked to have faced the river.
Lift not working and no relief porter - whilst female reception staff offered to help with luggage this would have meant them personally climbing 4 flights of stairs whilst leaving reception unattended. Not great management planning or support for hotel front line staff.
Perfect location, good breakfast.
Very noisy bedroom - poor sound insulation and creaking floorboards from the room above resulted in disturbed sleep.
Rooms large with walk in shower. Hotel on river Ness and over the bridge from the shops. Tesco and Laundromat around the corner. Had a Starbucks in the building. Staff helpfull.
Needed to walk up steps to get into the building which was difficult as I use a walking stick.
Difficult to find because of one-way roads in the centre.
Tour Bus Stop
Lovely feel to the hotel Beautiful views and Very friendly staff
Leisure and spa facilities were excellent and I would return again for many more short breaks in future
Could not fault staff nor amenities
The location is very central within walking distance to other restaurants, cafes and bars, and of course the town centre for shopping. The hotel room , foyer and reception are all nicely looked after, clean and fairly modern in design. Staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool looked inviting but we did not use.
Parking facilities a bit awkward in that you have to re-park the car after you arrive, although the staff do that for you. It was dog friendly with respect to the room and foyer area but there was nowhere to eat that would accept the dog. That is fairly true for all of Inverness. The room was quite small. We would have had room service and ate a meal in the room had we had space.
everyone was friendly, It had a pool and was dog friendly
The food was average
Location good, next to river and town. Room clean, good size. Nice pool and spa. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice.
The hotel bar was part of the Starbucks coffee outlet in the lounge so very little choice and not very cosy. Limited car parking at the venue.
Excelent location, courteous and very professional staff
The small elevator, only.
From the first warm welcome when we arrived to the friendly goodbye when we left, the staff couldn't do more to ensure a we were well catered for, including sending an ice bucket to our room for our own wine! The policy of not charging extra for room service is a very welcome idea.
There is nothing about this hotel I didn't like.
Ate in the bar area which was great fare and lots of it , free wi fi is always good to have and this was a good conection , beds were very comfy , room 001 beside stair but quiet all night . they will park your car and bring it back to you when you want . friendly helpfull staff always available
There was nothing to not like exept the shortness of our stay , it would have been good to stay a few nights in this luxury .
The location was excellent The staff were very nice and helpful
It was very expensive for what it offered I would only recommend it to a friend if they could get better terms than we did, but ours was a last minute booking
Location is amazing at the Ness bank.
Parking space small, very difficult to find an empty space to park. WiFi not assigning IP address and when it did it wouldn't last.
The hotel it's self was good for a weekend break. Spa facilities were very good, only fault I could say is the room 407 did feel it could have been aired before arrival as there was a very slight stale smell to the room. Also the furniture is a bit dated and worn. Only minor faults and on the whole suited fine.
Room was a bit basic. One towel wasnt clean. Carpet was raised agaisnt the room door.
The room was large, the concierge did a great job of recommending a guide for a day trip to the Isle Of Skye. Great view from our room too. Breakfast was good.
The rooms were clean and the river views were beautiful.
The lift was rather small, only room for a couple and their luggage.
Parking was poor - very busy
Small lifts & service
We had a gorgeous, spacious, comfortable room overlooking the River Ness and Inverness Castle. The hotel is in an ideal location for tourists, like us. You can step out of the hotel and take a lovely walk along the river or into the heart of town. Outstanding value.
The facilities offered were fantastic with friendly staff.
Television in room was stuck on one channel. No info given on how to work it
The rooms were very tired and in urgent need of refurbishment - the bathroom joints between the walls and floors were dirty - generally needing attention
