The smell on entrance, of the men's toilet hit me as soon as I walked in, which made me want to walk back out, which I would have done, had it not been so late for me to make alternative arrangements!
The cleanliness based around the area intended to be used for breakfast, seemed to be neglected, this may have been because of little usage, however, I felt it needed consideration.
The fact the advertisement suggested 'en-suit rooms, this was not the case, the bathroom area was comunal, and a pound was requested in advance for the use of a towel as a deposit, which I found quite extraordinary!
Although the sink in the room was clean, there was no 'hot' water, and/or soap provided, good job I always bring my own! Just in case.
Although the price would reflect the standard, I have actually stayed in much better accommodation, for less money, aside from the staff that is!
The lovely, friendly, warm and inviting staff! Helpful, enthusiastic, available for assisstance, always smiling.
The location, excellent for centrality, both around the local area, as well as a direct rout into the main Liverpool city centre, as rail-and bus links were very close by, and regular.
The general ambience, and helpfulness of the staff!
