The staff were great and the pub nights they had were good craic. From the bingo to the Kareoke (some amazing singers)
it was too far from the city center
quiet and clean
It is half an hour to city centre.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming! Large room with 5 beds so we were all able to stay in the same room, without having to get a hostel, which was nice! Good location, wasn't too far out from town it only cost us £13 in a black cab (between us) each way! A lot cheeper than staying in town! No cerfew and there is someone there all night to let you in so we didn't need to worry about how long we stayed out! Room was nicely presented, very clean, comfortable beds, bathroom was just downstairs close to the room! There was a place outside to park, there is also a pub downstairs!
Nothing, everything was great!
The lovely, friendly, warm and inviting staff! Helpful, enthusiastic, available for assisstance, always smiling. The location, excellent for centrality, both around the local area, as well as a direct rout into the main Liverpool city centre, as rail-and bus links were very close by, and regular. The general ambience, and helpfulness of the staff!
The smell on entrance, of the men's toilet hit me as soon as I walked in, which made me want to walk back out, which I would have done, had it not been so late for me to make alternative arrangements! The cleanliness based around the area intended to be used for breakfast, seemed to be neglected, this may have been because of little usage, however, I felt it needed consideration. The fact the advertisement suggested 'en-suit rooms, this was not the case, the bathroom area was comunal, and a pound was requested in advance for the use of a towel as a deposit, which I found quite extraordinary! Although the sink in the room was clean, there was no 'hot' water, and/or soap provided, good job I always bring my own! Just in case. Although the price would reflect the standard, I have actually stayed in much better accommodation, for less money, aside from the staff that is!
location was good. near to metro station, 10 minutes into central Liverpool , Bar and staff in hotel A1
no onsuite rooms, breakfast ,
Clean, attractive comfortable rooms. The owners and staff were lovely and really helpful and made us feel really welcome.
Breakfast could have maybe had juices etc rather than just tea/coffee, and the noise from the showers (not in rooms) was ungodly, esp at 5.30am!
The staff were very nice n helpful would rexommend family n friends to stay here
Staff were so helpful and made us feel very welcome. Was kept clean and amazing for its price especially the location.
Kind people. Service was excellent.
little secluded and just too far from the city centre.
hiring a towel
Friendly staff and very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and helped us with directions into Liverpool. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again.
The room and the shared bathrooms are very clean, like everything else in the hotel, friendly and nice staff, very close to train staion
Pleasant approach of staff & the positive responses to our needs. Very good basic accommodation provided by people who care.
Just a little street noise - slept well.
Nice staff, pretty clean for pub-quarters. Cheap too.
Toilet/shower outside the room, and being above a pub has it's obvious downfalls if you sleep early.
Friendly bloke greeted us and the other patrons at the bar made us feel welcome. Plenty of parking space along either street. Quiet enough on our side of the bar for us to just do our own thing on a Friday night.
Shared bathroom/toilets are quite communal, although by no means the be all end all. One shower was OOA but again, no biggie.
Was clean & night porter helpful.
No tea making facilities. 1 x towel had to ask for. Owner stayed up having lock in with juke box on full blast till about 3:30am, then rudely woken at 6am by deafening pump (attached to otherside of our wall) going when rest of guests started to have their showers in the one shared toilet & bathroom next to us. So only got few hours sleep!!
Location not so far from the airport, bus stop close to the hotel, coffee & tea facilities, staff very helpful and very nice
Any towelbath, a can of beer forgotten by the cleaning staff from the previous customer I suppose
Twas easy to find and good value for money as they had an offer at the time and I got a 3 bed room for the price of one. Comfortable and clean. Twas shared bathroom for male and female but not many people there on the day so wasn't a problem on the day.
Not really sure I liked that it had a pub entrance but to be fair, I was the one who missed the hotel entrance and had to come in through the pub as the parking was in front of the pub.
pleasant staff comfortable rooms
Very clean and welcoming room Friendly staff Good parking Very good value for money
Staff, very friendly and helpful Super clean Big rooms
Very comfortable. Veryobliging young man, who made us a coffee in the morning and carried our suitcases out to the taxi. really nice to chat to as well.
Having to go down stairs to the bathroom
Staff were genuinely friendly, chatty, informative and full of stories about The Beatles. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Great atmosphere. Very enjoyable stay. Recommended
Shower temperature control was temperamental
