Very pleasant as you walked in. Bright and welcoming. The room was cold. At 5pm on a cold November day we were told the heating would come on at 6pm! We did not get warm during our stay. The a la carte menu appears to be over priced and not a lot of it.Would not book it again. |

Convenience and adequate parking The menu for the evening meals needs a complete overall - the standard has dropped. In this day and age there should be access in rooms to teletext and better TV reception. Bar prices are too high. |

The size of the bedroom and bathroom. For the price charged this was far too small and for this reason we would not stay again. The pool was freezing and changing facilities were very poor. |

We stayed here with my 11 year old daughter for a 2 night break. Having previously stayed here before the alterations we thought the improvements were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Our room and the facilities were excellent. Having its own car park is definitely a bonus. We were even given permission to stop in the car park after we had checked out for the remainder of the day. Having stayed at various hotels in Scarborough, when we come again we would not stop at any hotel but the Palm Court. The only comment we would make is that the heating in our room was very difficult to control and we slept both nights with the windows wide open. |

Relaxing atmosphere attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant manager and girls and boys serving were so very smart and efficient and friendly. Sorry to say the flower arrangements! They were beautiful but the perfume was so overpowering in the lounge and entrance sitting room. Personally I would have liked to see a less formal flower on the dining table too a gerbena or rose perhaps. |

Well managed comfortable hotel with pleasant staff giving excellent service. It is convenient for the beach, shops and theatre. The added benefit of free nearby parking is a tremendous bonus in a town with such busy traffic problems as Scarborough. |

One of few hotels in Scarborough which offers free garaged car parking The public areas were decorated with beautiful lillies. However, the scent was so overpowering it was unpleasant to sit in the lounge or bar. All that was required was for the florist to snip out the stamens. |

The staff were polite & friendly, the room was spotlessly clean & everything in the room worked. The lady on the desk when I was checking out was particularly helpful. The bed had a plastic mattress protector, which gave the impression of a hospital bed in a labour ward! The head waiter, although polite, didn't seem particularly friendly or helpful & definitely needs to smile more! |

Our first impression was good and there was nothing adverse during our stay which would cause us to change this view. We had a good sized room with a particularly large bathroom with both a bath and separate shower. Convenient parking and the availability of a pool were also plus points. |

Cosy, comfortable hotel, very relaxing atmosphere. Husband partially disabled and found easy room access for mobility scooter and grab rail on bath was a necessity - thankyou! Yes, on our second evening in the bar, there was no bitter lemon available for my vodka - stock up for next visit!!! |

Central location, comfortable, staff exceedingly friendly and helpful a great place to relax with good food and pleasant dining room and lounge. My stay was a very enjoyable experience and I would definately stay there again and for a longer period. As I am slightly disabled and requested a walk in shower I was disappointed the only single room with such facilities was on the 4th floor and the room was very small. The shower was also small but it had a grab rail. It would have been helpful if there was also a grab rail to hold on to when getting out of the shower. |
