Very friendly, warm welcome, great location. A++++
Enjoyed our stay cosy and comfortable, tasty breakfast. Excellent hosts, would love to come back again.
Ann and David have made our stay the most pleasant experience. Their B&B is very neat and tidy, great design and fantastic hosts. The breakfast was amaizing, freshly cooked and using the local produce too! The place is a great base for exploring Dartmoor and Cornwall as well. We would be glad to go back one day!
View was amazing, peaceful, excellent breakfast, lovely hosts
wifi was broken
Friendly owners. Comfy bed. Nice breakfast. Nice garden and country outlook.
Squeaky floors above. No top sheet - only a thick doona. No curtain to bathroom window.
The hosts David and Ann were welcoming helpful and considerate and even had time to put some birthday banners up to help celebrate my wife's birthday. A fantastic weekend spent here and easy to recommend to anyone
I have nothing negative to say about palmers barn at all
It was nice to be greeted at the door on arrival and to be treated like a valued house guest as opposed to just another customer. The Palmers were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. The food was good and plentiful too.
There was nothing to dislike
Location Friendliness Price Breakfast Comfort
Nothing at this price.
Very friendly owners. Comfortable accommodation. Lovely views.
It was my 50th birthday and they surprised me with a lovely dressed up breakfast table and a lovely card. ,ot to mention the impromtu party the night before. Will always remember.
Fantastic location and very hospitable
Wifi was not very good
Friendly animals and owners. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
Wi fi is hit and miss, but that seems to be normal for Devon and Cornwall!
Absolutely nothing to dislike!
We stayed in the suite for 2 nights and wanted to stay a lot longer. Dave and Ann made our stay wonderful, couldn't have asked for better hosts!! They are both such lovely people, Steve was given a lovely bottle of wine and a card for his birthday, thank you so much! Breakfast was fantastic, such a large choice of foods, we were definitely spoiled for choice. We will certainly return to stay here again hopefully for a longer visit next time, neither of us wanted to leave. We would like to thank you so much for all you did for us during our stay :) Jess & Steve x
Having to go home at the end of our stay!
Friendly hospitable owners, lovely surrounds.
A little hard to find after dark
Very welcoming and friendly, set in a beautiful location with lovely views, would definitely recommend!
Hosts very helpful and friendly, welcoming and generous. Room fairly spacious and very clean.
Value for money. I had phoned ahead to check that BBQ was available. The owner went out of his way and made sure all was set up ready for us. Friendly attention to detail.
Looked a bit rundown outside so when we arrived did not have a good first impression. I could not get wifi to work.
I think David and Ann have a really good approach to running a B and B they came out to greet us on arrival and tea followed in mins. Their grounds are picturesque and they couldn't do enough for us.our stay was very relaxing and I would recommend Palmers barn to anyone
having to leave
Friendly hosts comfortable surroundings and peace and quiet
location, owners, breakfast, everything really
Nothing to dislike
Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and celebrate our newly wed status. They were accommodating and generous. The BnB was the perfect location from which to launch our explorations of Dartmoor and the surrounding area.
Amazing place, deep in nature, wonderful views and staff. Explore the near tamar valley and the wonderful dartmoor national park. It was a pity that we booked for one night only! Super suggested!
Nothing. Was superb!
Charm, history, food, hosts, animals, everything,. This really was a barn used for the animals working in the tin mines a couple of hundred years ago. The owners spent 8 or 9 years totally renovating and upgrading it while retaining the character and charm of the orig structure. Our favorite B&B in the UK.
