I booked this for my parents for my dads 80th birthday, they had a wonderful time, the owners were very welcoming and put up banners and left a card which was very kind of them, also home made sweets and biscuits is a very nice touch. Even a tray of treats for the dog!!
great location, very warm and comfortable. Anne and David were great hosts and very welcoming, nothing was ever too much trouble, they made our stay delightful and they even spoilt our dog. wonderful.Breakfast was delicious. Carlton and Cate Gilham.
i love the atmoshere and the location on the Devon -Cornwall border, Dave and Anne were great company and are a huge part of the holiday expierence, as a ex-builder i can see all the hard work that they have achieved so far and how they have maintained the character of the property . helpfull , freindly couple great poached eggs
If i have a very small issue then it would be the beds are a bit to hard for me , but the good far outweigh any bad
With family to visit in Tavistock over Christmas this was our fifth visit. Always welcoming, immaculately clean, warm and with a generous breakfast couldn't ask for more. Booking again for 2015 soon.
With lots of guest traffic the private access road is getting a bit rough and potholed. Take it slowly!
Very simple, comfortable, good facilities and our hosts great plus a good breakfast.
It was amazing, Dave and Anne couldn't do enough for us and made us AND our dog feel so welcome. I would recommend this wonderful B&B to the queen herself!!!
Loved the ambience Loved the staff The dogs breakfast was great Everything was fine
Lovely place with amazing views , excellent facilities and brilliant breakfast. Our dog was made super welcome with her own special welcome package, but the room was spotless , and non dog owners would never know that it is a pet friendly business. The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly , We had a brilliant stay , Thankyou.
An amazing little gem of aB&B! Ann& Dave came out to welcome us as we arrived, this has got it all,,,,,,friendly ,warm hospitality, cosy quirky, candles in the room, beams & oodles of character, lovely location, good breakfast with all you could want......couldn't ask for more .....we will be back !!!
Nothing not to like !
Peaceful location Great breakfast Friendly and helpful hosts Clean, well decorated and comfortable room.
Found the bed a bit firm
Lovely barn conversion and excellent hosts. Cooked breakfast described as 'quality not quantity' and it was just that! Absolutely delicious! (and really more than enough!!) Pets are made to feel very welcome.
Comfort, location, breakfasts, friendliness of Anne & David
Nothing really, we had a problem with our TV, but they quickly installed Anne's own in our room
Friendly welcome, I was on my own (unusually) and Anne and David really looked after me. Easy to find in a rural yet convenient setting. No need for sat nav! ! Breakfast cooked to order, tea made after a long day, little treats in my room, nothing too much trouble.
Welcoming hosts, immaculate cleanliness, comfotable bed and splemdid breakfast. Our 4th visit and booked again for December.
Lovely hosts. Couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Experience country living in the peace and quiet but still very handy to Tavistock. Very comfortable. Had all we needed for a pleasant stay.
Nothing really. Wifi was a little patchy but was adequate.
Very friendly, warm welcome, great location. A++++
Enjoyed our stay cosy and comfortable, tasty breakfast. Excellent hosts, would love to come back again.
Ann and David have made our stay the most pleasant experience. Their B&B is very neat and tidy, great design and fantastic hosts. The breakfast was amaizing, freshly cooked and using the local produce too! The place is a great base for exploring Dartmoor and Cornwall as well. We would be glad to go back one day!
View was amazing, peaceful, excellent breakfast, lovely hosts
wifi was broken
Friendly owners. Comfy bed. Nice breakfast. Nice garden and country outlook.
Squeaky floors above. No top sheet - only a thick doona. No curtain to bathroom window.
The hosts David and Ann were welcoming helpful and considerate and even had time to put some birthday banners up to help celebrate my wife's birthday. A fantastic weekend spent here and easy to recommend to anyone
I have nothing negative to say about palmers barn at all
It was nice to be greeted at the door on arrival and to be treated like a valued house guest as opposed to just another customer. The Palmers were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. The food was good and plentiful too.
There was nothing to dislike
