Very good,

“ The style of the Lodge is one of the selling points. It looks much better (and feels much better) than any other hostel I've stayed in. Staff are friendly, rooms are hard-wood, showers and toilets are clean, breakfast is free, free tea in the lounge, nice bar area. ”

Great place with super friendly staff. The rooms and shared bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was OK, especially if you happen to be a great fan of sweet toast and cornflakes. The place is not super central but the tube is 2 minutes away and will take you in 3 to 4 stops directly into the heart of the city. I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel and would definetly come again. There were too many pubescent german school kids staying at the hostel.

Staff is the best I have ever met! And the location is the best 10 min to Big Ben by metro! The curtains at the bedside give you intimate place.

Really amazing building. Bunks have heavy curtains and own lights, so even if you arrive late, you don't have to fumble around in the dark trying not to wake other guests. Underbed storage useful and plenty of plug sockets. Complimentary continental breakfast was included in stay. The doors slam really loudly, which made for an interrupted sleep.

Lovely building and great location on quiet road. 24h free tea, coffee, lounge access, internet and reception. Free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. 2 min. walk from Swiss Cottage tube station Zone 2. Fantastic value, we've paid £36 for a double bed in a 9-double bed-dorm. Every bed had curtains around their bed. Storage in boxes in the rooms ... remember to bring your own padlock. Your bed is made on arrival. It was really comfy. There is a secure phone charger station for any kind of mobile phone ... haven't seen anything like it. There is a water fountain downstairs to fill up your water bottles. The breakfast included in the price is basic and O.K. Definitely earns the title "boutique" hostel. Really recommend to stay there even if not on a small budget. Just one croissant per person ... and the juice was a horrible concentrate which was very sweet and I had to mix with water. The early noise of a hoover (before 7am) was a bit disturbing (mind you to keep it at that standard it's no wonder they are cleaning at awkward hours). The room was very hot, the heating seems to be on 24/7 and there is just one window in the room which can be opened for a few centimeters and the people who sleep close to it rule about it being kept open at night or not. So being closed at night it was very hot and I wondered if we'd have enough oxygen to bring 18 of us in the room through the night ... ;o) Besides all this it was a marvellous stay!!!

The bathrooms were very clean, what was a really positive point. There was a female only bathroom as well. The hostel has a nice area with a tv, they also have a bar and a restaurant. They provide free breakfast, which is simple but good enough. The curtains are a nice way of keeping a bit of privacy. I stayed at a 6-bed female only room. The beds were each grouped as triple bunk beds. I got the highest one of the three and found it quite high. It was also the two triple bunk beds one in line with the other, just leaving a small corridor in between both of them and the wall. I honestly found the bedroom really small for 6 people. It had an weird smell as well, not sure if because of the curtains, but the windows never seemed do be open either.

Location, atmosphere, clean shower room and the free tea in the lounge. The huge wood in front of the door of the 302. It hurt my leg. Price could be cheaper. The cleaners should clean the bed frame, as it is very dusty.

This is the best hostel I stayed in in my whole life. Fast service at the desk, verry verry friendly, big saloon with 6 computers use free, coffee and tea 24h free, tv, breakfast: cereals, toast (white and brown bread), jam, coffee, tea, apple or croissant, as much as you like. The rooms are verry clean, the hostel was full and I didn't need to wait for a shower (the are verry clean!!). Also I love the house, it is like a little castle, beautifull. The tube and bus is 5 min walk, a lot of stores and restaurants in the neigborehood. Tip: take the bus and go to Highgate cemetery! Guys keep up the good work and thank you verry much!! Nothing at all!!
