Bedding was very clean, comfortable, well appointed kitchen.
My wife noticed a few hairs in the bath and mould in the corner of tiles (didn't bother me but she is a stickler on bathrooms) also chair and couch had some 'stains'. No lift (we were on the third floor). Located further away from town centre than I thought.
Nothing I didnt like
Basically everything is great in this place, close to cafés and some shops, walking distance to the centre!
Sometime, some workers are a bit noisy when they work around especially downstairs at the basement morning time! But not always though !
It was close to the train station.
Too pricy for what you get. (in a basement) Not so clean and a minuscule shower. ( we are not big people) Please vacuum the carpet. Also, the door frames and finishes were not nice for what we paid. Very desappointing.
Communication, beds, cleanliness, TV, Wifi
Limited kitchen equipment made even simple catering difficult e.g. No bowls for mixing / serving food, no tea towel. Hair dryer cut out very quickly especially on the faster setting presumably due to overheating.
The cleanliness and comfort of the suite was to be commended. The location was good too.
Everything was clean, useful and comfortable.
There was no elevator - a detail that should be emntioned when one is booked for the 3ed floor.
It was very clean and comfortable, a really nice place to come back to at the end of the day. The staff were very helpful.
Nothing really; it's a little bit away from the city centre, which on the plus side does make it much quieter, but it is close to Haymarket.
staff very friendly and helpful, kitchen well stocked with utensils and very clean. bathroom clean with good shower. Room very spacious and clean. Not far from station.Luggage can be left before check in.Good value for money. Deffinately recommend.
The room we stayed in was a junior suite, it is really compact but a good design so you have space for a small kitchenette, bathroom and wardrobe. Everything felt very new and the kitchen is well equipped for such a small space. The building is stunning and the grand central staircase is really well done. The cafe a few doors down in the Arthur Conan Doyle building was great.
We were in Edinburgh for the Fringe and in hindsight would have preferred to be a little closer to the centre. However bus and tram links are great and you can be at Waverly station in ten minutes on foot.
Quiet rooms at the back, good kitchen facilities. Fifteen mins walk to Princes Street and 25 mins to Royal Mile/Castle. Friendly reception staff, a bath and a shower
There was nothing not to like!
Amazing room, couldn't ask for better customer service and perfect location. Next time I visit Edinburgh again I will definitely be booking a room here. 10/10
not a lot
if the room is a suite id love to see their single room. absolutely not a suite and there is ZERO parking although it appeared in searches with parking onsite. It cost me over £50 in additional parking fees.
Location - v close to Haymarket Station Decent kitchenette (bizarrely no sharp knife) reasonably equipped Lovely shower Excellent WiFi Easy check-in & good arrangement for late check-in
No staff on premises out of hours - problematic when a fellow guest sets off fire alarm at 6:30am! No lift
Upgraded to the executive suite. Lovely location.
Climbing all the stairs to reach the executive suite. Room was extremely hot, even with all the windows open.
EVERYTHING. Excellent service and they were very helpful. The rooms are nice and very clean. Just simply fabulous:)
Enjoyed central location with apartment facilities Very pleasant helpful staff. Public areas nicely decorated.
The room was very small and warm. Kitchen appliances quite noisey
Comfy bed Clean, well appointed Studio apartment Friendly staff
Not sure of location, only there for a night, wouldn't stay in that area again. Doona on bed even though summer, seems everywhere have them, too hot, light blanket would be more comfortable
Great room comfy bed. Great location. Friendly staff. Made a mistake with my booking they sorted it no problem for me.
No lift up stairs we had a buggy. It wasn't a major issue but a little bit annoying.
Fairly nice building.
An electric shower with a weak output that you don't even see if B&Bs, poor kitchen facilities compared to other suites/serviced appartments I've used. Four floors up without a lift.
Location and the accommodation quiet and pleasant; close to centre of town and easy to get to around by foot or transport(tram nearby); roomy and very clean and comfortable. Suited my 13 year old daughter and me very well.
Would have liked the option of somewhere to get a light breakfast within the accommodation.
This is NOT an apartment! It is a below-ground motel room with a microwave oven. It does NOT have on-site parking so you have to constantly juggle street parking. Wholly misrepresented on the booking.com website who have shown no interest in correcting the information. The 8.6 rating is a total crock - has to be fake.
Zara was so nice & friendly , as well as Juan & Gabriella . Nice stay & would definitely stay again
Lovely comfortable four poster bed. Room layout was good. I liked the sympathetic way the kitchen and bathroom were installed so as not to hide the very ornate ceiling.
Staff were helpful and friendly but I was on the ground floor next to reception and the constant coming and going was disturbing. There was a lot of chattering on reception which is fine but as the door of the apartment was not soundproof is was quite loud at times. In fact the gap around the door was so large I could see into the hallway. I asked for a quite room so being put on the ground floor with all the traffic noise defeated that request. The bathroom was a fairly generous size so why put in such a cramped shower? It was only just OK for me but anyone larger would of had a hard time of it.
Loved the kitchenette
