Score from 908 reviews Wonderful
The room was too small and the ceiling much too low .....the light fixture hanging in the middle of the room was below eye level
Location was the highlight. Absolutely worth staying here for the location, its extremely central. The bar downstairs added some life to the place also. Nice staff. Relaxed atmosphere.
We had a budget room on the top floor so we weren't expecting much anyway. When we climbed the stairs to the budget floor the wallpaper was suddenly dirty and marked and grubby in comparison to the other floors which was spotless. Felt a little like the poor persons quarters, even though the rooms were not cheap!
Closeness to town centre, pubs, restaurants and Thermae Bath Spa.
Lack of lifts.
Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Large room, comfortable beds, great breakfast. Central location. Highly recommend, looking forward to staying again.
Nothing to dislike.
Great location in front of a beautiful park and in the old city center
poor noise isolation. Very old windows. I was staying on the street side just in front of the hotel pub entrance. Very noisy until past mid-night
Nice and close to the town
The toilets were a bit tight to get on to
the hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the city; staff is very welcoming; bedrooms are confortable and quiet.
It was close to everything and Staff were very kind
Staff and normal room facilities were excellent, anything else was available from reception (eg hair driers). The room was very clean and comfortable
Although I was aware there was no lift I found that everywhere involved steps. Toilets from reception/bar were down stairs and the Breakfast room was up other stairs (different ones to the staircase which lead from our bedroom)
location. tidy small room
no lift. stayed on 3 rd floor that's 6 flights of stairs, going for breakfast down six up 2 flights continental breakfast
it is a really nice hotel, very kind staff and convenience location, clean and large room. it is really nice!
it is a little noisy in the night caused by the bar at the corner of the street, some one drank too late, and spoke so loudly.
Very noisy - between street noise & guests in the halls. The room needed an update especially the stained carpet
decor scruffy. Attic room very hot.Could not recommend it.
Really welcoming, switched on and informative staff; super location; fast, free wi-fi; pub on the ground floor; clean rooms; good value; walking distance (within minutes) of main attractions, good breakfast. Would go straight back to the Parade Park if we return to Bath.
The room was stinking. no vantilation. Water was leaking from toilet on to floor.
location great, nice staff, lovely bar
poor breakfast could do with updating
Location was fantastic
The drunks keeping waking us up through the night; maybe the rooms at the rear of the hotel were better.
Central location. Booked as a triple and pleasantly surprised we had Room 25 and 26 which meant our daughter had her own room. Also breakfast excellent
Not really a problem but as it is on a main road, you can hear buses from very early in morning
Loud noise from bar or club next door until early hrs hours
The location, the staff and the price is good value for money.
The room was clean but outdated.
breakfast central location
noise from main street even when moved to higher floor. Lots of steps to higher stories
The Parade Park is within 10 minutes walk from the railway station, within 5 minutes from the Roman Baths and the Abbey. If you plan to join local package tour to Stonehenge (recommend Mad Max), the assembly point is just across from the Parade Park. This is an extremely convenient location.
1. Old terrace so no lifts. Might have to carry your luggage and climb three stories. 2. The bathroom in the single en suite room is quite small, but okay if you leave the bathroom door open while you use it.
Location. Friendly staff.
Bit dated. Paint cracking. Could do with a re-furb.
Breakfast (a self service system would be better) ended up given up and leaving as no one seemed to notice me at my table with nothing in front of me.
