Central location and the breakfasts
Very noisy at night - location near traffic lights, bar next door and hen party revellers in Bath and others who made a lot of noise outside. Inside looked as if it needed decorating.
I've been staying at the PP since I did a fellowship in 2001. I love coming back to Bath and the PP. Bath's not very big but you can't beat the location. Lovely folks and nice bar.
We had a little trouble with the noise outside. Kept my sister up most the night. But I slept just fine.
Couldnt of had a better weekend at Parade Park. Easy to find in a perfect location :)
i keep going back as their inexpensive top rooms are such good value.. V friendly staff, perfect location and really clean..
Room to hot and small, cleanliness of room. Felt like a back packers hotel.
Ideal location, good bed, friendly staff.
four flights of stairs (I was advised), very tatty furniture, shower control hard to turn and paintwork needs attention.
First of all the stuff was very friendly and welcoming. The location couldn't be better right in the heart of the city. The breakfast was included in the price and was as described continental. And there was wifi free of charge. Very happy with the price of the room and facilities it offered.
Comfortable bed and generous continental breakfast. Central location a bonus. Tran bus shuttles and close to all tourist sites. Kind staff.Could not ask for more if you have overnight stay.Rooms vary. We had shared bathrooms.sink in room. No problems
No lifts for senior people. Small shower. No hooks for clothes and no chair to sit on.
The hotel staff meet our needs and when the problem with the sleep happend, gave us a new room. They respond very quickly and with very good manners! The bed in the second room was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was excellent! Location superb! About 2-3 minutes from the train station and just a minute from the town centre. Room are very clean - no dust at all!! Top marks!
The hotel is a bit tired, but not a big problem for us.
My room had a shared bathroom small room
location and staff
Central Location. Clean
Little run down and tatty, could do with a renovation.
Our room was on the second floor overlooking the all night bus stop to and from the University. On a Friday night the noise continued until at least 3am. Decor was looking a bit faded.
Prime location Excellent breakfast
Walk up 3 floors to room
Location is great brilliant view comfortable windows with wood are a plus
Pricey for small rooms poor breakfast collection Wifi is a bit slow Noisy especially the rooms above the bar
Location brilliant.Lovely outlook over Park .Can walk everywhere of interest.Reception and bar staff first class very polite and helpful
Like most hotels of that age needs a little TLC.Single bedroom a bit dated
Hotel within walking distance from train station, close to all shops and places of interest.
Location in in middle of Bath, walk everywhere. Friendly staff. Excellent continental breakfast, huge variety of food. Overall good value for money.,
Missed breakfast Sunday morning breakfast needs to be on same time as during week days, not on till 8.15' and we had a tour at 8.30am So missed breakfast. Room bit too small. Need to keep window closed due to street noise which made room very warm. Not too sound proof from corridor.
Breakfast very poor
Comfortable room, good location and lovely staff.
Noise from bin men in morning clearing the streets - but appreciate not really hotels fault .
Staff were very nice and helpful.
Room is extremely small and old! Pillows very hard and big! Was very hot in our room (window was opened).
Location is perfect. Breakfast reasonable.
Room very small and all the furniture was very old. Walls not cleaned. The room smelled very bad it was like the room was closed for ages.
Great location and friendly staff. Across the road from a wonderful Thai restaurant and central to all of Bath's attractions - short walk from the train station, and to the Roman Baths etc. Cheap single room/shared bathroom option comfortable enough if you don't plan to spend a lot of time in your room.
There are no lifts so if you are staying on the top floors be prepared to carry your luggage up (they did offer to help). As a single traveler, in an admittedly cheap room option, I did not like being relegated to a tiny table on the outskirts of the dining area for breakfast.
Very close to train station, a short slightly-uphill walk. Lovely view of Parade Park itself from the breakfast room. Very close to Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Small sink in room.
This is not a reflection of the hotel. Value for cost remains high. This was all fine with me, but I include it to give others more information. Room very small but adequate for one. Shared bath one flight down. No elevator. (Other larger rooms with en suite facilities available at additional cost.) It is an old building and rather creaky.
Good location and that's it.
Don't really write reviews as I'm quite an easy going person but this experienced was one I thought I'd share. When I walked into the room there was a very strong smell on bleach but as it was only 1 night stay, I opened a window and decided to put up with it. Then discover the room was on a tilt which was quite interesting. The next morning discovered the bathroom ceiling leaked through the extractor fan. Would not go back.
