It was very noisy, bathroom was very old and worn part missing of bath tap sealant broken whole bathroom needs replacing.
From the second u pull up outside you no it's a bad place. Then when we got in the rooms I've never seen anything like it. From the light fittings hanging of the ceiling to the tap in the bath falling off in my hand, the place is just a joke. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. DONT STAY
Polite staff, very helpful. Location ideal for Rock City, £3.30 for taxi. Comfy room and they allowed me to change to a larger room for no extra cost, room 5 much bigger.
Booking.com says they do a full English breakfast, this is not the case, only continental, so just had toast. Heating not on in morning.
Convenient location. Shops, laundrette, pub and pharmacy within walking distance.
Room was reasonable but reception area very run down and shabby. Upstairs area outside our room smelled smokey. We paid 60 Pounds but should be more like 40 for this standard. We stayed the next night at Milton Keynes for the same price but double the standard.
a short bus trip in to city centre
a lick of paint needed
Not much. Bed was clean and OK
Parking was a full drive. Disabled ramp was slippery but no downstairs rooms or lift. Room was shabby. No catch on window, mould in bathroom, broken tiles. Towels were wet and bedroom bulb was missing. Breakfast horrendous. Kettle and toaster with a loaf of sliced bread. Half used dirty tub of marg I had to return. Long life everything incl yoghurt and juice. Old used chocolate spread. Absolutely vile and all this for £80. Set in a grubby part of town and rooms not soundproof. This place was the pits. Photos on Facebook.
Staff were very friendly; room was clean. The hotel is located on the main A60 so easy to find, though parking (on the front is a bit limited).
Shower fixture - although most of the water came out of the head, there was noticeable spray also coming from the hose! There was also no plug in the bathroom sink so quite wasteful on water when I was shaving. TV remote didn't work, and when I managed to get it working manually, there was no Freeview signal! But we weren't there to watch TV so no big loss.
Breakfast - a Joke. (Site says full English, toast, cereal Yogurt not) Quiet room requested, placed on busy main road, to hot to close windows. Bath had hole in it, patched up with tape.
friendly, helpful staff. comfy bed
me and my partner stayed in room 8.the bed is lovely and very comfortable.the deco was really nice and the room was very clean. friendly and helpful owners and staff. booked in again for this week,
walking distance to the theater
very tired needs revamping, very noisy glassing broken and wedged in with wood. we paid for a English breakfast.we had a choice of two cereals juice and cheep white bread for toast or a bagel and instant coffee.
Being told at 330am that refusing to let back in room until bill paid despite already having credit card details etc
The location, bus stop outside to the city centre.
No access for the pushchair so had to leave it in the downstairs toilet. Just given a key to the room without any info. Room was undated, hair in the sink, half a toilet roll, broken bath handle, loose tea bags. The kettle didn't reach a plug so would have had to be boiled on the floor (impossible with a 2 year old) the third bed was in a dangerous place as you could easily bang your head on the wardrobe corners which around the bed. Staff rude and didn't even speak when we handed the key in. Would not stay again!
Bathroom light did not work dripping shower
the staff were very helpful and accommodating and very friendly made us feel at home
we have no complaints
Mucho ruido a la noche.
the bed and facilities were adequate
other guests were noisy and the rooms were too close together
