all in all very good.

The owners was very friendly and very very helpful nothing was to much trouble for them and the breakfast was lovely too

There was nothing that we did not like

The guest house is very nice with quirky touches to the rooms. Very well kept, the bed was really comfortable, excellent value for money and owners work hard which shows and are very nice.

100 metres from beech, shops, pub/restaurants

shower was just a trickle (we were warned on arrival). This would have been a big issue for a longer stay

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse was spotlessly clean. The room was very well equipped as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. All in all the guest house is very well run with excellent hosts at the helm.

The ground floor room could prove very noisy, i.e. children playing, guest and tradesmen could be heard very clearly whilst at reception. The breakfast took 35 minutes to appear, which is slightly too long really. My suggestion would be to incorporate a 2nd door to the room (create a type of lobby if possible).

Booked a superior room which was ok but didn`t look like the photos.expected a bit more luxury but for the price it was fine.

Everything was fine, I was late arriving but was welcomed anyway. I would stay again if passing.

We were meet by Phil who was lovely,we weren't sure about parking but Phil pointed us in the right direction.the lady who served breakfast was lovely made sure you had everything you needed.the breakfast was lovely and plenty of cereals juices coffee tea.

Everything about the Parasol Guest House was wonderful. The hospitality of Paul and Julie and Carolina was exceptional,nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was a great start to the day. The room was very comfortable and cosy. We would recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of staying in Weston-Super-Mare.

The owners were friendly and up graded us to another room. the breakfast was excellent and quickly served. the room rate was excellent. i would definately stay again. :)

I got married on 01/03/13 and just wanted a few quiet days away from everything. It was perfect. I have stayed in Parasol before and will be agsain and again in future. Very clean, very friendly, breakfast very nice and hotel very well decorated. Also very good prices.

I'm always cold but I did find it way to warm on room because heating on 24/7. I turned my radiator down but didn't make any difference.

Comfortable, cosy, beautiful room. Little family hotel. Friendly staff. Tasteful breakfast.Parking. Not far from hotel there is Cheddar Gorge caves, gap,rocks,cheese.Near sea beach.Cheap price.Quiet place. The best hotel!!!

Very good value for money.

Friendly staff. Very clean. Good breakfast, very good coffee. Good location. Rooms were very well equipped with lovely attention to detail. I really appreciated the Twinning tea and Fairtrade Camomile tea.

I have a personal preference for a very firm mattress. I also prefer no plug in air freshners or scented candles.Can appreciate that some people do like these accessories.

The nice relaxed atmosphere ,a very nicely cooked Breakfast ,served with a smile ,will go back if I have to go to weston again ,My friends her husband has a stroke ,so I went to see him and took my friend that stayed with me ,

Would have liked somewhere comfortable to sit after we left the room to wait for the Taxi ,but that is minor to me Great couple that ran it ,we were oaps good value to us Thank you all Pat Hurd and Jean wale ,

Obviously a family-run guest-house, despite being surprisingly large. Very relaxing after a stressful day and a long drive. Bedroom warm and comfortable. Breakfast delicious, and hot.

Just a minor niggle: the step down from the shower cubicle in room 7 is a bit higher than one might expect. Half awake at 6.30am, I nearly slipped when I stepped out!

I was met at the front door by the landlady (I presume) who spent 5 minutes explaining the front door locking mechanism, I was then escorted up three flights of stairs to the bedroom, due to an early start, during my two night stay, I was offered fruit juice and milk as it would be too early for a full breakfast which i kindly accepted.

When I booked the room I fully understood it was a loft converted room with low ceilings. As long as you maintain a crouched position for the entire time you are in the room you should avoid banging your head on the door frame and ceilings which I inadvertently failed to do. There is only one radiator in the room so be prepared for a cold exit from the shower. The stairs are quite steep to the room with a lovely globe to avoid on the second landing, just to make it a a bit mote difficult. Orange and milk were provided to me on the first morning as offered, however the second morning nothing was supplied and I could not get a response from the owners by ringing the bell. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Staff were really friendly. Made my stay extra enjoyable. Lovely comfortable room which had everythign I needed for my stay.

The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was very well looked after. I loved the attention to detail. We booked a luxury room and that is what we got. The room we stayed in was decorated really beautifully, especially the little bits such as room accessories and refreshments. Usually hotels provide cheap tea bags, but the Parasol didn't which I really appreciated. The dining room was delicately affective with the decor and table decorations. We were both really impressed and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other people.
