The staff were polite and helpful, although one sensed an underlying anxiety on their part that the hotel was way overdue an update, a makeover, just general modernisation. But they are clearly experienced, hard-working and very well intentioned. The all-permeating smell of deep-fried fish in the evening, some shoddy bathroom repairs, the depressing 70s decor. |

It was convenient for our purpose - we were not there for long enough to enjoy the surrounding area. Breakfast was good. |

The staff were friendly and willing to help when we asked to change rooms and for some towels. My fiance and I were in Falmouth for a wedding and stayed at the hotel with two friends. We researched the hotel on the internet and saw a pleasant website and good reviews. The price was reasonable and we felt the Park Grove was comparable with other hotels in the area and selected the Park Grove. However, the hotel did not bear any resemble to the actual facilities at the hotel for a start it does not have grounds - that's the park! Although the room was clean, it was very small and the decor very dated, including the ensuite. The whole hotel was very dated. It was a noisy hotel too - we could hear the next door room talking through the walls. It is a shame as the staff were generally helpful, but we did not find our stay comfortable. |

The hotel was close to the town centre which was good for eating out in the evenings,Falmouth is also a great base to visit the cornish coast.Large car park so no worries parking. Did not like hotel bedroon nor the very small shower room that was clearly just a small part of the original bedroom. sliding door to this room woke me up every time my husband went into use the toilet at night.Musty smell when you walked into the hotel. Hotel in urgent need of refurnishment. |

The hotel was clean and situated in a convenient location for exploring the town. The staff were pleasant. Having checked out the hotels own website I was reassured that the negative reveiws posted recently were probably in the minority and decided to go ahead with the booking. Having now visited the hotel I consider that the hotel website is very misleading. I accept that self promotion will attempt to show the best features and not dwell on any shortcomings, but my experience of the hotel itself ,the location, and the food bear virtually no resembalance to that which their website leads you to expect. Take the food for example, breakfast on the first morning was poorly cooked and subsequent mornings although definatly an improvement were nothing special. I would not reccomend this hotel as I do not consider it to be good value for money. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy with a lovely view of the park opposite, and we got a good nights sleep with no noise disturbing us. |

Polite and friendly service. Ideally situated to centre of Falmouth (10 mins walk to harbour). Parking could be improved by setting bays at an angle. During my stay most of the vehicles were medium to large cars and due to lack of turning space, I was unable to use some of the available bays. If the bays on the walled side were set at a 30 degree angle it would be improved greatly. |

Friendly owner who knew the area well and was able to make suggestions about things to do and places to visit. The en suite facility was a little too compact with no where for toilet bags. |

everyone was so friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. The room was really comfy and lovely being on the top floor, really comfortable furntiture One small thing - one of their plug sockets had been jammed open making it live - might want to check that out! |

Good location. Bathroom was too small and had to go downstairs to another room to use a bath as there wasn't one in the room as I had requested. |

The hotel was in a good location, nice and quiet but close to the town centre which we wanted. The staff where helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. The bar area needs some attention. |

This modern guest house has a Silver Award from Visit Britain. Highcliffe is 150 metres from the seafront, 5 minutes' walk from the harbour and town centre. |
Just a stone’s throw from a beautiful sandy beach and a short walk away from the town centre, this elegant Victorian guesthouse is perfectly placed to explore Falmouth and its surroundings. |
