Overall stay was fantastic and staff were very helpful and pleasant!! Excellent service from all staff!!
Studio room didn't have fridge.
Staff (very helpfull and hard working) Facilities Price Friendliness
Poor Wifi (Village)
Location is a good area for a base. Spa would be nice if parents didn't let their kids play in Lane swimming pool and mess about in adults only hot tub.
Sharing bungalow with various families who's children had no volume control and we're banging door and yelling outside our room from 7.45 each morning. Leaking guttering outside our room meant a torrent of rain hitying slabs under our window which prevented sleep 3 out of 6 nights.
We have stayed here twice before now and top marks, very clean rooms and Spa a big bonus. We will be booking again soon great for a weekend away
Busy at the bar but hey worth the wait
The room was clean , spacious and very comfortable. There were lots of thoughtful touches, and we had everything we needed.
We had to change rooms because there was no hot water in the first room they allocated to us. We had to decamp at 10.00 p.m. on a windy, rainy night to another room. This room was OK but here again maintenance was a problem - the toilet flush did not work properly, taps and sink plugs were loose, etc. The hotel should really check out rooms before they are let to paying guests.
Great for a family
Location of rooms great, very comfortable, pool and spa facilities very relaxing
Excellent friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Great size room, Extremely clean, comfortable, accept dogs.
Directions to the hotel, although not strictly the hotel to blame. Small cheesecake portion.
Price and it was clean
We was back in room for 11.00pm and it was gone 2.30am before we could sleep due to the music and noise of people out side
The fact that this hotel is right next to the abandoned Camelot theme park just makes it better!
Leisure facilities and very nice rooms
The hotel was set in beautiful grounds with a lake and wooded area with resident ducks. We enjoyed the breakfasts which are the only meals we had at the hotel and staff were all very nice and approachable
There was a wedding each day we were stopping at the hotel and early evening the hotel bar and outdoor area was used by both guests and wedding guests which was abit awkward. 1 of the staff at breakfast yesterday was abit too keen to tidy up and was trying to take things away before we had finished eating. Also staff were waiting till they ran out of items before restocking. Eg bread for the toasters and eggs and hash browns etc
all the above
Thin room walls with noisy neighbours Not safe for single person being in paired rooms Bright outside lights shining into room Expensive breakfast
Leisure facilities excellent. Spacious rooms. Clean and tidy.
Some Reception staff came across inexperience.
I like the location. Restaurant is also very good but a little pricey!
Behaviour of staff. Quality of the room WiFi poor reception Won't be using this hotel again
Spacious room Good pool
Long open air walks when raining Poor maintenance to room Very poor mattress in room Poor and expensive menu selection Parking along way from room and no covered way to get to room
Almost everything! Kids didn't want to come home. The family room was lovely, clean and very comfortable and welcoming. The pool was fab!
The tv didn't work properly poor reception on it. The lady on reception for the leisure centre was very rude and too busy gossiping to offer any help. She was unfriendly compared to all the rest of the staff
Efficiency and friendliness of staff. Asked for towel - immediately supplied with double so enough for swimming. Problem with cold water tap not working - immediate response - fixed before we returned from reception. Very friendly, helpful and polite staff at reception and in breakfast room.
The accommodation has seen better days. The beds were old and the double one in our studio accommodation had prominent springs. Wi-fi not viable. The wardrobe was in the bathroom ???!!!
Peaceful location Spaceous accomodation
Leisure & spa
Surroundings Leisure facilities Breakfast good Staff friendly and helpful
Room decor needed updating
Room consisted of twin bedroom and a pull down double bed in a lounge area. Good as children could go to bed in separate room. Nice pool area and good breakfast. Good value.
Pull down double bed very uncomfortable, no bedside lights, or bedside table for the double. Fine for one night, wouldn't want to sleep in the pull down bed for any longer than one night. Kids had a good night!
Good price and facilities.
Great staff , Charlotte (reception), Jane (bar) and Claire (housekeeping) were all amazing . This place is a must if you want to relax or have fun. definitely going again.
large fully equipped rooms with windows that open.Friendly reception staff.free parking.
wanted 14.95 for breakfast which would have been near 60.00 for 2 adults and two children. Bit ridiculous when one of the children will only eat a slice of toast in morning. When explained this to staff member she offered a cold breakfast for 8.95.each. we declined both offers.
