The room was modern, spacious and clean, with spare bedding and courtesy supplies i.e. sewing kit, shoe shine, shampoo, soap etc. The bed and sheets seemed new. My room was on the first floor above the function room, and I wasn't able to go to bed until 1.40 am because my room was vibrating and the music was booming throughout my room - no soundproofing. I'd advise anyone to seek a second floor room or choose a room in the outer annexe. |

Great rooms especially for business use. Decent food. friendly staff The bar area lacked atmosphere. It would be better if it served a wider range of snacks rather than having to eat in the restaurant |

Great gym but slightly crammed due to too much equipment, Large pool and sauna steam room. Plenty of parking Very spread out and took a little finding my way about. Food expensive with limited bar food (only sandwiches). |

A wedding was booked for the night I arrived and I was put in a room above the function room which was very noisy, but when room change was requested it didn't seem to be a problem and I was upgraded. If I was asked while checking in, I would have requested a quiet room and saved the change. It would be a fantastic place in the warmer weather with the Water World right next door. Breakfasts were fantastic, good coffee, staff were very attentive. |

Very accessible to motorway, the event I was attending in Leyland and Southport for the airshow. Easy access, good parking facility. Hotel was fine, but online reservation was not passed on to hotel, not for the first time I understand, which could have been a problem if the hotel was fully booked. |

It was OK for the purpose. Parking. No Sky TV though it was shown as available on web site (I wanted to watch the football). Breakfast OK but not a great experience. |

We were attending a family wedding which was very enjoyable! Breakfast service was good. Wasps everywhere in the court yard!! |

I was there for the Ironman race at Rivington / Bolton and although the location was a bit of distance away the atmosphere at the hotel was very relaxed which was ideal for me. Although there were a couple of major wedding type events over the weekend I wasn't disturbed by any late night noise or 'revelry' at all so I was able to get the rest I needed. |

Staff were young and very polite and smiley - made the stay very pleasant breakfast was pretty average close to motorway so noisy in the garden (not in the rooms) |

Large bedroom. Nice breakfast. There was no where to park near reception and no indication where to go when it was full.We were not very happy to learn that we were not in the main hotel we had booked well in advance.The staff informed us where to park & apologised that it was dark and not much lighting.We had to walk in the rain with very poor lighting from the car park to our room stepping in deep puddles. |
