Room was clean, pleasant and comfortable. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Entrance to car park not obvious from the road. Breakfast limited.
Good value for money. Clean. Pleasant staff. Very helpful.
As dog owners we were not allowed to take the dog into any part of the main building, a more extreme attitude than we have found in any other hotel. This would have been ok if there had been comfy chairs in the room. Very grubby carpet in room. Finally, make your own tea at breakfast from water in a vacuum pump dispenser that had clearly fallen below boiling point! This not France!!!
Staff were good, helpful and pleasant. Food was nice and Wifi in my room was good (room 9)
Too far away from town
The staff at the hotel were all extremely friendly. Breakfast was tasty - better on the weekend as it was cooked to order rather than left out on the buffet. Good sized room and heaps of parking.
The wifi signal was incredibly bad and unable to be used. The shower in our room was either stone cold or boiling hot with zero middle ground. No fridge in room, poor lighting. Had a late night out and the phone number provided was not answered in order to be given access to locked gates.
staff were very helpful in all respects
1. Wi-fi very, very slow. 2. Phone to contact reception didn't work - went directly to ansaphone with a repeat message echoing the first. Had to phone the hotel on my mobile to speak to reception. 3. Not enough milk in the room for tea & coffees
Very friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Private and very quite. Will be revisiting again on my next business trip.
This place has lots of character and the staff are lovely. They welcomed our little boy, which was great. Good value for money.
I think the room could have been a little cleaner and needed a new mattress but was ok. The room was the only thing holding them back from being a four star, i believe, as everything else was excellent. The room was still ok though. Good size.
Friendliness of staff
Basic but clean and great value for money
The staff were really friendly. Evening meal was very good and breakfast was awesome.
No heat in my room and the hot water was Luke warm and didn't get any hotter! Shower was luke warm to.
Hotel and grounds layout/location Good size room, very clean with nice views Excellent food and friendly helpful service
Water pressure a bit low on shower
Good view of the country side. fireplace was a nice touch.
constant hum from nearby powerlines.
Staff were helpful, room was clean and bedding and towels were top quality. The room was comfortable, bed a little hard for my taste.Car park is large and secure at night. Overall room was good value and I would use the hotel again.
Noise from downstairs and other occupants in adjacent rooms was a little disturbing and the traffic noise starts early but because of the convenience of the location this is to be expected.
Location, outside the town! I liked the "smoking den"!!!
No negative comments.
Very helpful staff. Large comfortable room. Good parking. Ample breakfast if taken at reasonable price.
Food was very good too. All in all, an excellent stay, well recommended.
Wi-fi was good. Bar area was welcoming.
The sound on the T.V. was broken. You cannot dial out on the in room telephone although it says dial 9. The shower was at best a dribble.
Comfort and quality of the evening meal.
Staff, comfortable Beds. eggs for breakfast were done to perfection
Breakfast, sausages were pasty, not enough cups out, bananas were past their best, not much cereal choice, not worth nearly £9.00 paid, I did expect a much better breakfast, I have stayed at the Hilton and got an excellent breakfast for less.
The room facilities were fine.
The walls were thin so we were wakened by the people in the next room at 6 a.m. as they left with a coach party at 8.
The hotel was very good and the staff were excellent in all areas, very helpful, friendly and efficient. Rooms were great, very clean and had everything needed. The food was fantastic, both at dinner and breakfast. Definately stay again.
Rooms ok Afternoon staff ok
Breakfast was a shambles No staff to help at breakfast
The bed was comfortable, but we felt we were back in the sixties, very poor
I was very very upset, the reason I booked this hotel, on web says pet friendly hotel, what a joke when my husband and myself arrived with my dog a cavalier king Charles spaniel, we were ushered out of reception, I agree with dogs nor allowed in dining room, but the bar finished serving food at 9pm, so I asked if we can come to the bar with our dog the answer was no. Do not advertise dog friendly when we have to have our dog sitting our when we
Helpfull friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Good sized comfortable rooms
