Perfect location for shopping and to Motorpoint for concert
location, outside bar area, large airey rooms, very quiet rooms
poor quality duvets, toothpaste/soap scum on back of bathroom door, bottom edge of bathroom door chipped ++ made a decent bathroom feel cheap, more milk on hospitality trays, pack of 3 biscuits in a room for 2 people!
Perfect location for central Cardiff only 1 minute walk to shopping centre and great restaurants and Cardiff arena. Very quiet in the rooms and good size
The room could do with some better maintenance. One wardrobe door hanging off no hinge and worn out. Slow lifts
Location was great the room was fine although a little dated
Food was not brill for the price paid
the convient location of your hotel
the cleanliness of the ladies toilet
Room smelly and towels dirty
It was raining on arrival but no problem as the car park is directly below the hotel which was ideal. The hotel is right between the motorpoint arena and the St Davids Centre. Rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff were very courteous and helpful.
My boyfriend and I stayed here the night we saw Lee Evans. Location was great as we only had to cross the road to get to the motorpoint arena, and the shopping centre was right next door. We could leave the car in hotel car park the next day while we went shopping which was handy.
Although staff are friendly, and it looks the part in reception, if you want a romantic weekend away, consider your stay. The rooms were comfortable enough, but the heating didn't work (and it was late November!), and the room just generally looked like it had given up on life. I would pay the price again if I were to see another show, but I think £80+ is a lot for one night if you're not really going anywhere to make it worth it. Also be aware about the deposit-I have had to pay £50 per night else where in the past, but they asked for £100. So take extra money to cover yourself!
Bed and pillows to hard.
The location and helpful staff
location, comfy beds, good selection at breakfast, room warm and comfortable, good double glazing shutting out all the traffic noise.
reception terrible no offer of help with cases fend for yourself policy,no one to show us how the lights worked or heater worked. room not ready for us when we arrived no skimmed milk in room although we previously asked for it. no blankets no toiletries except one bar of soap between two of us.bad lighting in the bedroom difficult for my friend as she has bad eyesight and many of the staff unable to understand us or we of them.
My only criticism would be th range of drinks in the bar. Fine if you are a beer or wine drinker but very few choice of spirits and mixers.
Bedrooms and breakfast all good. Ideal location for central Cardiff shopping and Millenium just around the corner.
bar and lounge areas looking worn-out and in need of refurbishment. Parking spaces limited at Hotel BUT St Davids Car-park is 100 yards away and 24hr. Short walk but still convenient.
Staff very pleasant was the only good quality of this hotel
Terrible smell of damp as soon as room door opened . Bathroom in need of refurbishment no toiletries except soap. Breakfast inedible worst I've had. , scrambled egg floating in watery liquid , no fried egg option , mushrooms cold. & in greasy liquid ,bacon & sausage barely cooked . Tea tasted like disinfectant really poor quality . Car parking £12 on top of room rate was expensive . Chose hotel because of radisson name but will not return there again , very disappointed & spoilt our evening
location to centre and parking
all parts of hotel were cold especially dining room ,bar area and reception also bedrooms had no heating
Location is excellent. Booking and checkin/out was easy
Room needs a face lift. Not enough bar staff at busy times....just before/after a show accross the road at the Motorpoint. Difficult to understand the staff in the dining room. Not enough parking ....we had to park in a nearby NCP carpark which was ok but not ideal.
I stayed with my teenage son as we were attending a gig at the Motorpoint Arena which is literally across the road. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent (which really pleased my son). Great hotel all round.
Only criticism is that there is not enough seating in and around the bar/foyer area.
Very central to all the facilities.
Rooms needed updating. Window catch broken and double glazing not working. Noisy from late night revellers and early morning shop deliveries.
I liked the fact that the hotel was closest to the venue. we enjoyed our overnight stay and found the beds comfortable and the ensuite was very clean at breakfast the food was plentiful I would recommend it
there was not anything to dislike.
The room was freezing and after complaining for three days we had to go to duty manager to sort out , bulb missing from light after three days nothing done , extractor in bathroom not working but not sorted after complaining , loud music til 1am on the Saturday night kept us awake
location of hotel, staff were very pleasant, room was very clean. breakfast was excellent.
they had 2 parties which we were not informed of which meant that we could not sleep until after 1 in the morning. Also we could not have an evening meal because the parties took over facilities.
good location for station and motorsport arena
No evening restaurant facilities, when we stayed only an expensive and limited room service menu. This was due to a very noisy private function.
The big bed
Location. Breakfast in bed. Friendly staff.
Car park too small. No spaces. Lights not bright enough in room.
