I liked the welcoming service quick and friendly booking in also very easy booking in.
Location and parking
The hotel was too hot,[no air conditioning}had to sleep with window open so very noisy early morning. We found one unopened and one opened pack of cooked ham in a cupboard. We passed this to reception.
Location couldn't be better for shopping centre. Parking very good but expensive. Décor modern and bright.
Room stuffy. Welshfactor auditions on and there were too many young girls arriving very excited! Perhaps we should have been notified. Breakfast average for the cost.
quality, location and good service.
Food was OK. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Good price.
Generally feels run down. Needs paint, and small items of maintenance (e.g. light bulbs not working.
Friendliness of the staff Central location Parking Comfortable rooms
Rooms could do with updating Not enough plugs for mobile phones, computers etc
Ideal location for Motorpoint Arena and shopping.
Tired décor in communal areas, corridors.
Central location with parking. Friendly staff.
Tired decor and furnishing, poor bar facilities when there's a conference on - limited seating , ran out of ginger ale. Smoking area unusable in poor weather. Portable heater in one room, portable air-con in another.
I was impressed with the fast, efficient check in at reception and the big size of it too. The hotel is very handy indeed to stay the night if you are attending a concert at the Motorpoint arena which is literally just across the road.
The shower didn't come with a shower handle which made it difficult to shower. Few stains on the carpet.
Comfortable Great shower location
Pay for parking. Wasn't clear at time of booking Was not a double bed - two singles pushed together so ended up with a gap in between beds.
The central location and price of room. For £58 you couldn't really fault anything.
The single beds were pushed together to make a double but they were different heights and kept rolling apart. Bad nights sleep unfortunately. Cleaning of shower was issue as limescale and mould on shower door and shower head.
Bathroom fantastic and lovely big bed.
Sofas were a bit tired.
Great location for shops and sightseeing
Noise the air conditioning made in our room which meant we had a disturbed night. If we were staying another night we would have asked for another room. We had an internal room looking over the reception area so no option to open the window for fresh air Great breakfasts right on the door step so wouldn't recommend paying too much extra for the food
Location and attitude of staff
contacted hotel before arrival to book a blue badge parking space this was not done room very noisy (from outside buildings movement of lorries through night
need some refrubrishment .... low internet even with a voucher ...
location room was nicely presented staff friendly
bed was like sleeping on the floor, so hard Restaurant was understaffed so had to eat elsewhere or wait 50 minutes Breakfast was poor Staff were friendly but mostly foreign
Convenient location to theatres, shops and train station. We had a warm welcome from the staff. Room was a goos size with iron, ironing board, hair dryer and safe. Bed room was clean and tidy. Unable to comment on the food as we did not have any.
Although the bathroom was clean, some repair was needed to the bath and the plastic on the shower screen.
The staff were good but suffered from very poor management
One light in the bathroom was not secured at its upper end. there were screws projecting at least 20mm from the bath panel. Part of the bath panel closure was missing from the head end of the bath. Service at dinner on my second night was appalling. My starter took 1 1/2 hours to arrive and my main course a further hour and, when it came it was not what I had ordered
Windows need to be double glazed cos of traffic noise
I thought booking a Radisson would ensure a decent room for the night. I wasn't expecting a room with an amazing view of wildebeest marching majestically across the plains, I was opposite Motorpoint Arena after all. However, I did at least expect a window that looked on to the outside world. Instead I had a wonderful view from my bedroom of the reception desk and the 24 hour bar opposite as the window faced into the enclosed atrium of the building, complete with naff, greying ripped net curtains. Still, all things considered it had a bed and therefore a chance for a decent rest, but no, with an air-conditioning unit probably as old as the first Luna landing module that rattled and shook and spewed all night long it just wasn’t to be. Needless to say I shan’t be planning to revisit this establishment any time soon.
Room had no window to the outside Very hot Air con noisy Basic Breakfast buffet Luke warm
