We selected this hotel as it was so close to the men Arena (opposite!). The hotel room was very clean and modern and although we didn't have any evening meals there, the breakfasts were fine. We did not hear any traffic noise but our room was not facing the busy road so I can't really comment on this. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone going to the men Arena or wanting to stay near the city centre - the Arndale shopping centre was also within easy walking distance. The railway station is also opposite - we were able to get a train direct to Manchester Airport.

The hotel was ideally placed for MEN Arena and shopping in the city centre. Facilities were excellent and the staff were all very helpful. The room was immaculate and I would definitely be staying again in the future.

I liked the staff and their services, the rooms were very contemporary and clean... Great location. Excellent heatin facility, love the ice dispenser at the end of the corridor.. Overall id come stay here again. This was mine and my partners second stay and we loved it soo much we dint wanna get out and ended up enjoyin the room.... With the ensuit bathroom, hot drinks and digital tv. The bed on the other hand was very uncomfortable, didnt like the idea of two single beds being put together. It was painful and annoying, half the night as we were tryin to get comfortable one of us partners had to get out of bed to push them backtogether. Id suggest u have proper double and kingsize beds and not put them together. And another thing that was uncomfortable was that we felt there was no privacy............... We were in room 238 and the view outside was facing an open office. It felt as though we were being watched and it didnt feel right.... Considering these issues the value for the rooms are high

We stayed over for one night on 21st October whilst visiting the men arena. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean as you would expect from a new hotel as was the room. The room itself was immaculate apart from the heating, which was air conditioned. Tried everything to get the heating to work as it was quite a cold night but didn't matter what we did with the controls it would blow out any air (hot or cold). Finished up putting on extra clothing to keep warm. Very disappointing. Also only one pillow was provided each, could have done with at least another two. On a positive side, as a non-smoker, information given in the room literature advises no smoking at all in the hotel. If the hotel finds that you have been smoking they will add £50 to your bill. You have been warned! The hotel provides an outside covered area adjacent to the bar area with a heater for those who wish to smoke, where my wife had to go. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice was available. If you pay for breakfast before you go you'll get 2 breakfasts for £10, otherwise it's £10 each. Drinks at the bar are in line with most city centre hotels, quite expensive, but they do food until late (12:30am when we ordered). The hotel has unisex toilets on the ground floor, didn't bother me but my wife refused to use them. I assume this is the fashion for new hotels that we have to live with. One thing to watch out for if you're going straight back to the hotel after coming out of men arena. The queue at the bar would choke a horse and it took 15-20 mins to get served. Staff were excellent, not just the bar staff, but all over the hotel. This might have been something to do with the duty manager being very pro- active and making sure there was someone at the bar at all times. I was impressed with this and would certainly visit again, if they can sort the heating. My son & his girlfriend also commented on this as they'd stayed here a couple of weeks ago.

Radisson was clean and tidy and in a very good location for the purpose of our trip My daughter , who is expecting attempted to call room service around 10pm on the evening we stayed, after 15mins of the phone ringing out she gave up and had to come down to the bar area to order a sandwich and request for this to be sent up to the room....not a good service. Also considering your location and the business clients you appear to attract the breakfast buffet was of a low standard, food cold, some of the fresh fruit still frozen...the only thing that was good about the hotel for the price was the bed and the location, don't think I would be calling again.

Minimalism to the extreme! Stylish but no luxurious feel. No luxurious feel or extras: cheap looking soap/ shower gel dispensers. Adjust thermostat in room: default setting rather cool: 18-19deg . No drawers or wardrobe, just a rack with hangers. Ok for overnight.

Good location for M.E.N. We mentioned to the receptionist that although the sheets were clean the duvet and pillows had a dirt body odour smell as is they needed laundering of throwing away. We had a poor meal , I.E. tough steak when we asked for rare. We were'nt expecting gourmet but we would have been better off going to McDonalds. Other than that it was ok fior one night

Location close to city centre For a 4 star hotel the food was not up to standard. Dinner was not very comforatable as you had staff on hand but you felt like you were under scrutiny. Breakfast was awful, dry bacon, sloppy watery scrambled eggs, black pudding was inedible it was so hard - not an enjoyable meal at all.

We only stayed overnight but were impressed with the efficiency of the staff and the standard of facilities (pool and restaurant) we used during that time. Excellent base for events at the men arena and very convenient for the car park. The only negative would be that we didn't spot the sign saying Park Inn. We came by car from Cheetham Hill Road and the sign, although large, is very high up. We passed without realising. We suggest that a sign lower down on the side of the building as viewed coming from Cheetham Hill Road would be useful.

The male receptionist was unhelpful, didn't have knowledge of area, in fact did not represent your group in a positive manner, needs to go on a Public Relations Course. Not impressed that one has to leave ones car in a unsecure National Car Park, even with 20% depopsit. Next visit for attending Velodrome will find better Hotel.
