We selected this hotel as it was so close to the men Arena (opposite!). The hotel room was very clean and modern and although we didn't have any evening meals there, the breakfasts were fine. We did not hear any traffic noise but our room was not facing the busy road so I can't really comment on this. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone going to the men Arena or wanting to stay near the city centre - the Arndale shopping centre was also within easy walking distance. The railway station is also opposite - we were able to get a train direct to Manchester Airport.

The funkiness of the hotel That the room was very basic considering I had paid over the odds for it - also had to ask to move room as the first one we had stunk of smoke in the bathroom with the smell of aftershave afterwards, the room wasnt clean at all yet we were just then shuffled into another room.

Clean and comfortable I requested twin rooms weeks before , yet was given double rooms. When I challenged the staff I was greeted by a shrug of the shoulders. Based on that experience I would never book that hotel again

Room had no wardrobe or drawers for clothes storage Bathroom had no shower gel Restaurant service was virtually non existent after 25 minute wait no food or drinks where served, got fed up of waiting and walked out. Informed the Head waiter why I was leaving, the restuarant was only a third full if that.

The main reason for booking the hotel was it's proximity to the men Arena. The hotel is a new, bright, clean hotel, with good staff service, the food was excellent. Parking is just across the road. Could not fault it for what we wanted.

The pillows were the comfiest I have ever slept with. The breakfast was fantastic plenty on offer not rushed just a lovely relaxed atmosphere friendly staff. The overlooking of office blocks

The room was just generally a bit grubby with horrible red gauze curtsins that were dirty, and dirty marks on the walls. The view over the surrounfing streets was horrible and I frlt distinctly uneasy about the area.

I liked the pool area and enjoyed the food in the restaurant. The rooms are very basic no better than a travel inn certainly not 4*, the restaurant and bar area was quite cold.

Staff were very friendly although a little confused at breakfast as we didn't have it booked in. We were happy to pay but there seemed to be a massive deal made of it and we were made to stand for ten minutes while it was organised. Nice clean rooms but very basic. However for the price we paid I cannot complain!

It was very clean welcoming and modern. But at the same time very homely warm and very comfortable. There was a relaxed atmosphere about the place the staff very friendly and everything as required. I would certainly return to this Hotel and recommend friends.

the location was excellant room good .alas the breakfast was poor the bacon gould have soled my shoes.no fried eggs on menu scrambled eggs cold mushrooms cold I could go on.and for this reason I would think twice about using this hotel again.
