standard of room for the price was poor. Walls were very tatty,scuffed and marked everywhere. tv had huge scratch through it bathroom had mould around shower Bathroom door broken at the bottom

Great hotel,good location we use this location on a regular basics,and try to book in at Park inn when ever possible .

When I went to check in they had never heard of me, and had to phone bookings to get my booking resent this took an age. Then the room was not made up for is. And despite the tv not working and a staff member removed the phone. I still had to pay full price. It was my worst booking.com experience to date. I always book through them.

The bathroom Wasnt great. The shower screen wasn't big enough meaning the whole bathroom got soaked whenever we showered, The grout between the tiles was either missing or dirty, which was surprising as the hotel is only a couple of years old. Makes you wonder about their standards of cleanliness.

Excellent staff, extremely obliging. They gave us an upgrade to large family room with great views of the Southend Pier. The location was fantastic too with the pier and amusements directly in front and lots of shops directly behind.

Just loved the hotel! It was brand new, very clean my kind of place. I was very happy. Staff were very polite and knew what they were doing and very helpful. Booked for 9 other friends who were very impressed with my choice of hotel. They will definitely consider for their own future bookings.

it was a excellent large room with a super kingsize bed, staff were very nice, all you needed was directly out side , i.e shops and beach just across the roead.

Could have used a welcome pack that explained how to activate and connect to the WiFi, had to ask at the front desk, was given a scrappy bit of paper with username and password, all seemed to be a bit of an afterthought.

The windows were very dirty and spoiled the great view.

The location and the staff were helpful and friendly. Décor throughout the hotel.

Parking situation cost us £20 extra each to park for 48 hours. Bedding left a little to be desired I have stayed in comfier Premier Inn for half the price. Nasty looking stains on carpet floor. Also there were no wardrobes or fridge.

For a 3 Star, it was amazingly good in every aspect. Extremely clean and quiet . Pleasant and very spacious rooms with good sea views.

No reply when ringing reception for info, let it ring for a considerable time, then tried operaror number with the same result!!

The staff were all happy, friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant, food was excellent.

The location was great

There was a loud party in the hotel that spilled out onto the street in the early hours of the morning.

staff are extremely helpful. bedroom is very neat and tidy and spacious. cotbed is free. buffet breakfast is awesome ith loads of delicious foods to choose from. Restaurant staff were the best! excellent place to stay.

Room was good size, nice bed, quite luxurious. All I could want in a hotel room. Breakfast was excellent. Notwithstanding the criticisms, it was excellent value. Gym on top floor was a nice facility. Adjusting a broken lamp caused room lights to fuse, but they were fixed promptly and efficiently.

One bedside lamp broken, reported but not repaired during stay. Bathroom door very difficult to open & close - sticking on floor. Hotel bar a bit pricey. Car parking in multistorey opposite worked out expensive (£5 hotel concession overnight but normal city centre rates between 9 and 5) and should be factored into the room price.
