Score from 230 reviews Excellent
the hotel was ok,but the bed was terrible sloping into the middle so we had hardly any sleep, also we were next to the heating room so constant noise from that, therefore we had a very poor night.
the breakfast was excellent the staff friendly and overall a nice hotel
The hotel was in a good position for my purpose and was very good value for money. The staff excellent and facilities excellent.
Nothing bad to say
Everything especially the breakfast.
listened to my specific requests. Parking was free. No noise during the night. Pleasant staff and helpful.
Good accommodation, good food.
Smokers outside the main entrance making a noise until the early hours of the morning.
Location and the whole package was better than expected.
Never got my leg over
Just needed a rest from the norm, really quiet and spotless.
Light, bright and airy public areas with welcoming lounge/bar area. Large, clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent value (and well cooked) breakfast. Professional and friendly staff.
Everything except the bathroom
The bathroom, Sink not big enough to wash in. The only shelf was over the toilet. No lid on toilet. so if anything fell off the shelf in went down the toilet.
Spacious room. Very comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent value especially including breakfast.
Having to keep logging into internet. Would have been better every 24 hrs.
Easy to find. Cheerful welcome and friendly staff.
Nothing to dislike
Ambience of hotel and helfulness of staff
Convenient for the A1 & the M18 and M1. God retail park and eating places located nearby.
Stayed here several time before and always good but this time the breakfast staff seemed undermanned which meant items kept running out. Only appeared to have one person on duty in dining room which was not enough for the number of people dining.
No complaints at all. All excellent.
Parking. room clean and bright .staff pleasant and helpful.breakfast very good.
Traffic noise.very noisy with doors banging late at night.
Freindly welcome, facilities, cleanliness, good quality room and the breakfast was good.
I WAS MISTREATED
the room was lovely
The actual amount of payment is not advertised on the website when booking, and the excess money was not put back into my bank straight away and 5 days later has still not been put back in.
Me and my partner arrived at the hotel for a nights stay for the first time at holiday inn at rotherham; The staff tried charging us £20 more than the price we booked for. During breakfast i ate a raw sausage and resulted in being sick in less than an hour after and the next day I had food poisoning. We was never told the check out time and went over the check out time by 5 minutes by getting our things together and they told us we would have to pay £15 more for checking out late although we was never told the check out date and nowhere in our room did it tell us where the check out time was. We wasn't very impressed with the service at this hotel for the price.
A good hotel that is clean, modern and offers a good included breakfast.
Cleanliness and the staff
Hotel can be noisy, not enough milk, tea and coffee. No iron in room
