No hot water, bad smell everywhere , I found rotten apple in cupboard, comunal toilet full is S...t, UNBEALiVeable !!! Should be close by health an safety authorities and nhs as is a continated desease spot. Unfortunately is located in the centre of town.

We didn't actually stay the night as we weren't at all happy with the place. The guy on the front desk arranged a room for us in another Leicester hotel.

Courteous staff. The hotel is within walking distance of the railway station, central shopping area and the university. It needs a lot of money spent on it to upgrade to even a minimum acceptable standard. The room was not of a standard I would expect from a budget hotel, even for the money paid (which was equal to an Ibis or Premier Inn rate). The room was squallid and the bathroom was grimey. The door lock did not work. The only light was the ceiling light. Breakfoast is only served between 7 and 8 am. I decided to check out and find another hotel. At least the staff were gracious enough to refund my money, for which I am grateful.

It was utter rubbish. The sink was disgusting someone was sick the night before and the stuff didn't bother cleaning it up. I was given another room which had a broken window and it was extremely cold.

The breakfast was good. The parking, The stairs, The poor decoration and upkeep of the decoration, Smells coming from rooms on the corridors, The shower and toilet facilities, the basin waste was blocked, the shower cubicle was so dingy that I did not use it, The bed was clean but a little uncomfortable, I cannot understand how this can be licensed by the council to operate. I could have complained but did not think that the manager there could have done anything about it and I was only there for one night, I would not book again. I did not look at the reviews until after I had made the booking and was about to book in or else I would have changed hotels. If there is any chance of a refund for this review, that would be appreciated in respect of the experience. John Bowskill

The only positive thing about my stay was that the wifi was good and I got a good nights sleep. LEAVING WAS BY FAR THE BEST PART. - The place stunk of dirty cheesy feet... -They would not let me cancel my reservation. - The plug sockets had barely any electricity coming through them. - The kettle didn't work. -The shower was forever far too hot or far too cold, and burned me a couple of times. - The stairs outside are deadly when wet, there is no grip at all. - The ariel cable to the tv was I think an added extra, which i was unaware of so it was just a black screen. IT WAS ALSO NOT A FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST IT WAS MORE LIKE AN 8TH OF A DECENT SIZED MEAL. I could go on... You're basically paying £35 for a comfy bed for one night and a wardrobe. NEVER STAYING THERE AGAIN. And no you don't have the option as a hotel to reply to this because you are a terrible excuse for a hotel, stay in a travel lodge people...

My honest view is to take this hotel out of your Leicester Portfolio. It won’t be worth the unhelpful comments I’ll write

the staff were very helpful and friendly. the hotel was very close to de montford hall which is why i chose it. the room was untidy and in need of renovation, the tv didn't work properly which wouldn't normally matter but when travelling with kids it does!

Handy for the City, lots of restaurants nearby This place is a bit grim, shabby building, grotty room and uncomfortable bed. Lots of noise from the street outside. The room was hot, dirty and smelled of cigeratte smoke. I think there was also bed bugs or fleas as i found a few bugs in the morning and now have some very itchy spots.

I have a lot of luggage, and did not know where to put them after checking out. The owner said it's ok to store them in the hotel. That really helped a lot. And the location of this hotel is really good. Quite near train station and university of Leicester. I did not even have to take a bus to go these places. 我有很多行李,不知道check out之后放哪儿。还好老板说能放在他们宾馆。这就帮了大忙了。 另外病馆的位置很好,从这里到火车站、学校都是走路就能到。很近。 The bed is not good. Shared bathroom and toilet. 床不好。洗澡和卫生间是共用的,房间里没有。

The hotel could do with a visit from the hotel inspector as there were missing light bulbs, holes in the sheets no duvets! We are in England it gets cold!. No spoons for the tea or coffee but otherwise it was ok the beds weren't brilliant but they were comfortable enough. Also breakfast is served between 7&8am which I think is too early it should be at least till 9:30 but I think this is to defer people from having it resulting in less costs to the hotel which is a bit cheeky. But otherwise an ok stay close enough to where I needed to be so didn't really mind.

The location is perfect for an evening out meeting with friends in town..... The cooked breakfast is very nice & all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room just wasn't up to standard at all. The cups & kettle weren't clean & there was no spoon???. There was no hot water, however long you run the tap from the sink basin or the shower! And there was 2 wardrobes in the room & in 1 of them had dirty & wet towels in which had been left by a previous customer & not placed over the shower unit for washing. But therefore implying that this room had not been properly checked or cleaned. This isn't acceptable at all. My stay this time wasn't a pleasant one sadly!
