Campanile Leicester has a city-centre location and easy access to major routes and motorways. It offers free WiFi and car parking. The hotel has a comfortable bar and a restaurant on site.

The Stoneycroft Hotel is a family-run establishment, only a short walk from Leicester’s city center and the world-famous De Montfort Hall.

A restored Victorian townhouse and former convent, The Regency Leicester offers free parking and free Wi-Fi just a 5-minute drive away from Leicester city centre and rail station.

In central Leicester, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and the very heart of the city, this modern hotel has comfortable accommodations, free Wi-Fi, and good facilities at well-priced...
Score from 501 reviews Very good
Everything. Rooms dirty and not cleaned.
Nothing The fact that the bloke moved us hotel.
The fact we walked in, everything looked to b falling apart. It looked like a hostel for homeless, there was a lady come downstairs whilst checking in who had clearly been doing drugs of some discription as she kindly showed me the pin pricks on her arm and totally looked out of it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, i wouldnt even keep an animal in there. As for a shared bathroom there was no way i would share a bathroom with the kind of people that are staying there.
Location close to city centre so very convenient Staff very helpful as hotel being updated and refurbished. Room fairly basic but comfortable enough. Good value for money. Breakfast service efficient
Was given password for wifi but very hit and miss reception
The price and location
The dirt, the absence of staff for extended periods, the lackadaisical staff attitudes, and most especially the many disgraceful breeches of fire regulations.
The welcoming staff and clean room
Having to move due to renovations
The place is a dump
Nothing to like
The room was dirty we had no cup of tea with our breakfast there were cigarete burns on the bed spread for the money we paid it was very poor.
I didn't like anything the hotel should be shut down more like a hostel
It was disgusting wallpaper hanging off wall curtains hanging off, stuck to the carpet. Wardrobe door off, drawers all broke & well the shower u wouldn't use. Didn't feel safe there at all
Toilet was not flashing after complaining they didn't do anything.
Food was good , excellent staff , very accomadating, bar was good and well priced.
Shower didnt work very well.
The beds were all broken! Even after changing rooms. This hotel should not be allowed to continue business!
Bathroom lighting didn't work. One of two shower doors missing. Initially givena room that wasn't ready. I had to walk the lenght of the room to switch of the light.
Despite the burn holes in the bed linen to our surprise the sheets were clean inside! I also should state the man at reception was polite, aside from being on shift all night he had to make the breakfasts too (which tasted ok, however the hot water is not available to guests so you cannot even make your own coffee/ tea in the mornings)
This should be listed as a hostel, we have stayed in many hotels worldwide and have never encountered a place as dirty- holes in the corridor walls, holes in floors in the rooms, dirt everywhere noticeably on the floors, there was chewing gum on the radiators and trash along the window ledge. The shower had two settings scalding hot and freezing (I had to wash my children in the split second between the change). There were 3 curtains in our room covered with stains and safety pinned together to try and cover the large victorian windows (which didn't work, or prevent the sun entering the room at 5am). The noise from outside (cars/ people etc) was SO loud the children barely slept. There is no lift in this 'hotel' or help with luggage for the steep steps to the rooms, I struggled with the pram, as did my father who has Arthritis. The WIFI signal is very poor from the first floor (bedroom floors) upward. Another concern, and information not provided through the site, is that this 'hotel' is used as a half way house for social cases... I feel this should have been disclosed prior to booking. We booked for 1 week but spent one night, only because it was too late to drag the children around a city we didn't know. Would NOT recommend to anyone, especially to any traveling families. We stayed in the Premier Inn for CHEAPER, and had felt immensely more comfortable!
Cheap rooms and inclusive breakfast. Convenient location close to Leicester centre.
The whole place looks like it's about to fall down around your ears. No shower facilities, not even shared. Advertised TV in every room (which there may have been) but none of them either work or are connected to an aerial. Very difficult access for anyone disabled or even with slight mobility problems. Really needs to be double glazed, being on a major road means a serious amount of noise.
I liked the location and the staff went to extra lengths to make sure I got some breakfast eventhough I was checking out at 5am to catch my train.
The room was very cold throughout the night even though the one radiator was on full.
Smelt odd on the corridors Loud guests Unwelcoming Large tv balanced oddly Bed noisy and felt unstable
Everything - avoid at all costs
The ceiling had fallen down on one room, the ensuiet was just a shower cubicle plonked on one wall, curtain was hanging off, fire doors on stair well did not close properly. More like a seventies bad hotel
It was old and grotty, windows didn't close properly, loose floorboards, poor decoration, unpainted doors. It looked like someone had started a refurb and given up. Very very scruffy.
Dirty, run down, smelly and other guests very scary. I think this is more of a refuge for the homeless than a hotel.
Wasn't the hotel I had viewed. The rooms were not upto the standard expected for the price paid
Everything. I don't often feel ripped off after staying in a cheap budget hotel but this was the worst ever
Filthy looking accommodation, in really poor condition
