Brasserie Joel was just the job. Good food in calm surroundings. The controls in the bedroom were really easy to use

Excellent facilities and so central. Suite was very well equipped. Room was towards back of hotel and very quiet with side view of London Eye. Stayed here 3 months after opening and couldn't wait to come back.

carpet at side of one twin bed still had had a large stain which more shampoo could have helped. Breakfast was too pricey. Not everyone has business expenses to claim.

Location and quality. Very nice hotel located in a great location.

The noise from the basketball teams celebrating kept us awake until early hours Monday morning. Having to wait at checkout 15 min because we were paying cash, only just made our train home. No welcome booklet in the hotel room to tell us where things were in the hotel.

Its a beautiful hotel well located and very upmarket facilities.

Location , superb dining at hotel at reasonable prices. Excellent rates for the location and level of luxury, will recommend to anyone attending London, great place for your last couple of days before flying home.

Difficult if you are driving a rental car and you are arriving/booking in, limited room at front of hotel, however staff were courteous and tried to accommodate our needs.

No natural lighting in the room, internal room with one very small window. Despite a request they were unable to move me.

Everything aspect of this hotel space was well executed. Attention to every detail was evident. The bathroom was one of the best I have used , it has been just so well designed , with crisp ,clean shapes that give the space a hint of minimalistic efficiency using high quality specifications.

Location was excellent to many sightseeing walks.

Front desk staff was snippy on arrival. Concierge gave misdirections on several occasions. Very expensive and room lighting was not very good.

The location is just amazing, everything is in 5-20' of walk. The windows look exactly at Big Ben (we stayed in a studio room). We've been to London 6 times and stayed in much more luxury hotels as well as cheap guest houses. This one is the best location-wise and, as a result, the best overall. Will stay there next time.

We were upgraded to a beautiful room with big windows. Not the most exciting view but still lovely. The concierge and every staff member were so helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Bath tub was huge and we had a separate shower. I was impressed by its cleanliness. Breakfasts were so good. We loved staying there and would stay on our next visit.

What a gorgeous hotel, very comfortable, luxurious. We didn't book breakfast, but when we checked in we got an offer for £12, and well worth it. Breakfast was brilliant. Staff were very helpful with everything.

The constant calls too our room claiming we had not left a card at reception for incidentals when in fact we had there only problem was that the amount blocked on the card was not enough. I would have appreciated this being explained instead of staff demanding cash when delivering room service and the front desk getting it totally wrong. Also upon check out the girl could nit authorise my card without keeping me waiting 20 minds due to system issues. Not very professional art all and a little bit of a sour taste setting as it was a surprise for my boyfriend who had not stayed in London before.

1) noisy room close to elevators 2) poor wellness facilities (no jacuzzi and small pool with only 4 beds aside)

The service was excellent

The "inside" room with no natural light was depressing, even though the fitout was excellent. The hotel appears "dark" as a first impression. The signage is not obvious and confusion reigns as one enters the hotel as a guest "where to from here ?" The reception desk is not obvious and when one finds it, one has to queue to be checked-in.

The location is excellent looking out on Big Ben & the Houses of Parliament. Its proximity to 2 tube stations covering most routes makes travel very easy. So many attractions and activities within a 10minute walk it is impossible to get to visit all of these within a weekend. The staff in all areas of the hotel were the most friendly and helpful I have come across. I would highly recommend it to any traveller
