The Executive Lounge is exquisite, and well worth the upgrade. The best part of the stay must be watching the sun set over a picturesque Westminster bridge framed by Parliament and Big Ben.
Accessing the locked balcony in our suite was an inconvenience.
The staff were so friendly and helpful it made for a great atmosphere. The interesting books in the rooms were very nice touch. Quirky kitchen fantastic and the service was akin to a past era in hospitality rarely found today. Many thanks
Nothing but a translation of the Latin text in the room would be wonderful ?
Location , good concierge.
Street noise and noisy club next door , unable to sleep. Small room, tiny bathroom, rooms not cleaned well.
Great place to stay. Walking distance to everything.
Location was excellent as first time tourist in London. There was so much within walking distance. Nice to have the luxury of the Park Plaza for a good night sleep after a hard day of sightseeing.
We were very disappointed as the pool quickly reached its capacity and we were denied access. Especially since this contributed to our hotel selection and our 13 year old was looking forward to it. Consideration should be given to extending the hours for kids in high demand periods.
All other facilities
The hotel accommodation is very clean & comfortable. The restaurants have a certain ambience about them. The location of the hotel is Within easy walking distance to the train stations and local sightseeing and is close by to the London Eye, and the River Thames.
The breakfasts rate a poor 3. Quality of food and service is not first class. Needs more supervision and supervisors in this area.
Location Hotel presentation
Housekeeping was a bit poor at times. Had to keep asking for things however prompt and polite when asked.
Clean room Comfy bed
Near to Big Ben , easy access
The room air condition is noisy.
i would say the room.and the view were great along with all the services
Poor wi fi in my room, free wi if had very low speed and was given for only 24 hours, for my second day I needed to register one more time. Only 1 device per person, which is also ridiculous.
Bars, lobby, rooms and pool all great. Food in the late bar excellent.
Not a major problem, but this is a big wedding venue and so the ground floor is back-to-back weddings!
Everything was fine.
One of the glasses in a triplex-window in the room was broken.
Nice modern room deco, good location. The view, either a big room with a bad view or a small room with a nice river view.
Stayed 3 nights, first day the room service only changed the covers and towels and didnt care to clean the floor or remove the garbage! Spoke to the front desk and changed the room the next day for a betterview.. at night had to wake up 4 times cuz the neighbours kept knocking on their door and thanks to the thin walls heard the whole 30min conversation why he stayed out too late!
It was clean and modern. We paid a premium to use the executive lounge which was lovely and had a fantastic view of Westminster Bridge and Big Ben. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel gave us a luxurious feel!
We had to book a time slot to use the swimming pool and even then we were only able to use it for half an hour. Not long enough! We stayed for 4 nights and only used the pool once.
The staff were just brilliant. Friendly and efficient. The rooms large ,well equipped and a wonderful view of the houses of parliament. The thoughtful surprise of a chocolate cake for our daughter's birthday delighted her.
Some areas of the room showing their age e.g chips on furniture, drawers not closing easily. Lighting controls a mystery, constantly plunging the room into total darkness when trying to control bathroom lights. Was it just us?

The size of the room was very impressive .we also enjoyed that there was a lounge area separate to the bedroom. The decor was beautiful and everything was spotless clean.
