THE SEA VIEW
UNABLE TO OPEN WINDOW AND ROOM WAS VERY HOT
Nice size room, clean and tidy throughout, friendly staff, close to town, carmarthen
Very happy with the place
Excellent location in seafront. Comfortable rooms. High standard if food. Helpful staff . Good parking.
The food, friendly staff
I went out on the night, I was stood outside for 20mins in the cold trying to get in the hotel. I kept ringing the bell but he was sat in the bar so didn't hear me, not good at all
Right in the heart of Redcar, over looking the sea
Location was good
Hotel was a little run down in need of a refurb . The double bed was two singles together
great location, nice staff, lovely room. 10 minute walk from train station.
lovely room but bed had a weird hard ridge down the middle of it so not as comfy as expected. shame.
The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was good and plentiful. Good location for my visit (business). Value for the money
Decor is a bit dated and could do with a refurb. Bed was not as comfortable as the premier Inn's. Could do with a shower cubicle.
location was good, the bar area was ok,we didn't use the restaurant.Bathroom was modern towels and sheets clean and fresh.
The room,. got far too warm during the night.
Friendly staff throughout our stay, excellent location. The food was of a high standard and good value. The room was comfortable and clean
I can find nothing that I was unhappy with.
good homely food, great bar, very nice and helpful staff. Good base for Redcar and North East Coast areas.
Room was a little too warm
Friendliness of the staff, sea views and the breakfasts were good!
Sometimes there was a parking difficulty.
Kind and helpful staff. Good food and facilities. Clean bedding. Good tea/coffee facilities in room.
Dated bathroom facilities. Obvious repairs needed. Lacking in towel rails/hooks. Lift would have been handy for elderly people.
Loved everything about this hotel, excellent staff, lovely big room and excellent value for money, breakfast was delicious , would Definately stay again
The staff were very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast were of a high quality with a good choice.
There was nothing I did not like
Good sized room and bed. Not standard boxes.
Roll-top bath in the the centre of the room, with no shower screen or curtain. Slow and intermittent WiFi - although that could be as I was on the top floor.
No shower Only one towel for two of us
Staff were very polite and helpful .Food was delicious . Room was a very good size .
There was no mention of work in progress at time of booking. Whilst our room was a very good size it was covered in dust all around the bed area . Their is or was a major damp problem that is evident in the stained wallpaper. On arrival the maid had obviously needed to top up the milk and other complimentary items but to throw them all across the worktop in the room is at best uncaring .When I complained in the morning and informed them the only reason I was staying for the second night was because I was tired of searching for hotels . We were assured our room would get a very good clean that morning , however on our return the lamps and bed area were exactly the same . This was maybe a nice place to stay but its clear it is all going downhill .We had a sea-view room but was hopeless as windows were so badly condensated the view was irrelevant .Photos on website are clearly very old .a very disappointing stay .
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food (Breakfast and Pub Food) was excellent - always arrived quickly The suite we were in was very roomy and it was great to have the option of a bath and shower, although shower was either too hot or too cold..
We were located within one of the Suites on the first floor. The room itself was lovely and big. However, the bed looked very grand and comfortable until it was time to go to sleep in it! The mattress definitely has past its best, time the hotel upgraded the bed or at least the mattress.
Price for facilities
Painters in foyer and strong smell of varnish
Very friendly staff good location ses views great.
Comfortable, clean and very helpful staff, would stay again
Excellent staff and facilities
A shame we were not told that meals stop at 7pm on a Sunday night. In fairness, it is printed ON THE BACK od the reservation when you check in, but honestly who is to read the back of the page... a minor hiccup, We have been to this hotel on a number of occasions, and always had been able to eat later then 7pm. It must be stressed as Redcar has few eateries.
everything about hotel. needs redecoration, but not a major problem. great location and parking.booked kirkleatham suite, lovely room great views. very clean
missed breakfast a little early for us, but again not a major disappointment.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, good bar and restaurant prices, spacious room
Bathroom suite was very nice but there was no decent shower cubicle, only shower head attached to the taps, pointless for using as a shower in a freestanding bath
