Location Price Staff
Room size was great. Lots of space and rooms spotless. Bed linen spotless. Nice bug bathroom with soaker shower. Basic breakfast included. Unlimited tea coffee juice toast ham and cheese
Noisy building. The Sound of doors unlocking even travelled through building. The mattress had springs poking thru so not too comfortable.
The location was good, a short distance from the tube and Piccadilly line straight to town.
Wi-fi only available in reception which was a whole street away, amenities of room extremely basic, not so much as an iron of ironing board.
Big room with ensuit
Room was warm
Nothing very disappointedwith hotel
Paying for parking which i couldnt park not disable friendly
The side of the room I was in
They said they have wifi nut when I got there they said you can only get it in the hotel lobby... Poorly stated
Worth the money, perfect distance to the Emirates & to central London for the shopping!!
A little noisy but bearable and the rooms had no tea/coffee facilities as quoted
5 minute walk to the underground
Breakfast was terrible, pile of cheese, ham and bread and a toaster. lacking in presentation and options. 2 out of our 4 nights were unable to sleep due to very thin walls while other hotel users partying. 1 of the staff members didn't speak english when asked what the code for wifi was. the bed sheets did not fit the bed, so whenever you rolled over the sheet would crumple and reveal the mattress. Bathroom was only just big enough for one person. Had more the flair of a hostel than a 3 star hotel.
Close to the tube, good location
Extremely noisy. Woke up every hour or so due to other loud customers in the rooms next door etc. Stayed in the 20-22 Park View building which was more like a student house and the walls were very thin. Could not leave the bathroom door closed because the windows at the end of the room did not have curtains, just a single net. We ended up putting towels in the windows to have privacy from the car park that was overlooking our actual room. Would not recommend this hotel/ "student house" as it definitely does not include these details on the website.
the room and the silence during the night. breakfast poor but good.
the staff is not really nice and not friendly
Location was good and room was a good size
They advertised free wifi in all areas. In truth you had to sit in reception to use it, and it was so slow that it was useless.
the only thing me and my mum like was the bed is comfortable and the shower is good.
We didn't like the way the receptionist talk to us,the bedroom is far more different from what I saw online when I booked it..I ask for extra pillow so I expect to be their when we arrived but unfortunately we got told that if we want anything extra i.e pillows&bath towel we should go to reception which is the other hotel company opposite ours..also when we arrived in our room I was so frustrated that their was no essential like kettle, tea, coffee to make a brew..another thing was they only give us 2 hand towel which I don't know how they expect us to have a shower. The toilet wasn't clean properly,no soap to wash your hands with. The breakfast suppose to be continental, well part o f it(ham, cheese & toast). Poor Wi-Fi means we didn't manage to use it the whole time we stayed. I have been to cheaper and worse hotel than this one, but atleast the staff gave as good customer service for having bad accommodation. But not this one, never ever coming back to this hotel or even the one who bought it.(central park hotel) Well I guess you get what you pay for.
I would not recommend because: 1. Although wifi was advertised, the only available wifi was in the building with the lobby (which was separate from the building with the guests, literally houses away). The wifi in the lobby was a poor signal at best. When I called the front desk to address the situation I was greeted with the worst attitude and inconsistencies abt the status of the wifi available to guests. Other reviews have stated issues with the wifi since May. I stayed at the end of June and the issues are still present. 2. The bed provided apart from the mattress not fitting the frame (which is dangerous), the springs in the mattress were sticking us in our backs which made the experience very uncomfortable. 3. There was no phone provided in the room to contact the lobby. Therefore if a guest had an emergency or an issue they would have to cross the street and walk a few houses down to get onto the staff. I believe this was intentionally done as there were many issues. For someone without a cell phone that works in the area this can be a serious inconvenience. 4. The alleged breakfast provided was horrible. It consisted of stale bread and cereal, room temperature cheese and ham and warm orange juice with no ice to add in. Every morning was the exact same breakfast and based on the signs in the 'kitchen' the food was reused if not finished the days before. 4. Toiletries were lacking. Towels had stains. No hand towels or face towels provided on the first day. When these items were requested the staff grunted that they do no provide face towels and the hand towels were out. They proceeded to offer more towels to use instead of hand towels. 5. The staff on the whole at the front desk were extremely rude most of the time. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
The cleaning lady Guiler. She was kind & helpful.
The ladies manning the Reception. They should be polite & helpful
The location was excellent
Not being at the main hotel more like a hostel setting and it meant if u had breakfast going over to the hotel . Could also be a bit noisy
Close to public transport
1) room wooden structure means noise with every movement. 2) Bed slats broken and make noise. 3) Cupboard garment is broken leans to one side, suddenly the door does not close properly. you must force to close the door while listening the nice melodies :-(! forget towels. 4) no tap horn in shower. each day you have to request room services otherwise the room stay as you leave it in the morning ;-(! 5) Wifi not available in rooms, you must to go out and then surf internet in other building (récéption) ;-). 6) Break fast, very very basic. It's not a english breakfast :-(!
good size room and clean room, comfy beds, great value for money.
Paying for parking.
Basic but clean room and was a good location to the gig in Finsbury park which was the purpose of our trip.
The reservation said free parking but we were charged for parking and had no alternative but to pay once we were there. Different members of staff trying to charge different amounts, think they were working on parking commission!
The room and bathroom were a good size and very clean.
Bedside lights and tea/coffee facilities would have been welcome. 1hour free wifi in every 24 hours would be good
The Price in the past was quite reasonable, as the hotel was just renovated. The studio has nice wooden floors.
A year later and due to the poor cleaning it is not recommendable to stay in this hotel. Beds and lines were dirty. Dust and moth everywhere and finally I had mice!!
Had room next to front door so didant get a wink of sleep. Shower head broke so could not shower proper.
most things nothing like what was advertised
Good location for anfield. Next to tube and shops. Clean large room
Having to check in at the hotel opposite was a bit of a pain. Friends of ours were stopping at a 'different' hotel but was right next door and checked in the same place. Confusing! No tea/coffee facilities in the room
comfy bed, but the mattress wasn't as big as the bed
very basic accommodation nothing like the photos on line, the room had only net curtains, with houses opposite looking into our bedroom, no tea coffee making facilities, the toilet leaked badly and they must of known about that prior too our arrival, I felt like we were in a youth hostel, not a hotel, it advertised all rooms had a park view, no rooms had any such view. the walls were paper thin, hence we could hear all our neighbours conversations and movements, a horrible experience that spoilt our weekend.
