location to city centre, clean hotel, comfortable bed, warm and good value for money.

Minor niggle, only the glass shelf in the bathroom needed repair as it tilted forwards and anything placed on it would slide off.

Having a sitting room and bar area was convenient.

The sink plugged up a few times which was inconvenient and the shower stalls are too small.

The location was good.

I was with friends and although most of us were happy with rooms , one of the room smelt of damp.

We really liked our room and the friendly service! The housekeepers were really nice, they always knocked and waited for our answer and they were very polite.

At first it was really hard to spot the hotel even though it is in a really nice location. Must be we were totally new to Nottingham :)

The location was ideal for me as I was visiting my Daughter who lives close by

The bath had an overhead shower which was on a low slanted wall which made it difficult to use however the bathroom was very spacious and there would be enough room to install a separate shower cubicle. For one night it wasn't a big deal.

The hotel was ok. Good value for money. Nicely decorated, but not to the best standard. Not much else to say, except that the food at the hotel was ok too.

The room was surprisingly small. The bathroom was tiny, with only enough room for the shower and toilet. The hand basin is actually in the room. Not a big deal, except the paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom and there was absolutely no room to move. The room was also incredibly cold - it seemed like the hotel wasn't heated at all.

The service by the staff was very efficient from checking in and in the morning within minutes of sitting down an excellent breakfast was placed in front of me.

Staff were very good and accomodating. We appreciated room service. Also very close to the town and university.

the bed was very confortable

the bathroom was extra old and had the tiniest douche ever!! As my husband said: I don't have the bollocks to get in there!

TV did not work.....It wasn't tuned in Sink was cracked and I didn't feel it could be cleaned properly

lack of attention to detail within room..it was very dusy and lacked thought generally .. ie not sockets near mirrior for appliances.. long cables stretching just to use kettle.

Comfort and facilities in Room; excellent breakfast

Unkemp surroundings - garden which is the entrance to the hotel is a mess. No private parking.

Our room was very clean and tidy with a lovely view of the arboretum. The staff were friendly and helpful and our breafast was top class.
