The rooms were very good. I had a large single room for 5 nights and find it very confortable. Breakfast was very good. It was a only a ten minute walk to the main shopping centre, which for me was ideal has I was away from the noise but close enough to walk to and fro. |

Bar, dining room, breakfast, and tv lounge areas were really good, far better than expected. Lots: 1. We could find our way in on a dark, wet, windy night, notice said press 2 bells to be allowed in , we could only find one!. 2. Hate being in an annexe , they have no heart. 3. The beds (2.6" ??) were way too small for father and son both over 6 feet, the duvets were so small that again feet stuck out, didnt drape over the sides of the bed once you were in it. 4. The tiniest "dunlopillo" pillow square (one) were the worst I have ever slept on. 5. The bathroom was reasonably clean but oh so tired, needs ripping out .... the shower was just a tap extension that you would expect to wash your hair with whilst sitting in the bath . If those simple things were rectified I would be happy to stay again. But not until. |

The position is good since it is near the city centre. Moreover, we could see a wonderful park from our window. We found a used condom on the floor in our room |

Upgrade to a decent sized room. well equiped and decorated. parkine was easy to find and we used the parking permit from the hotel. Bathroom was tired and had lots of black mould. The palce had been recently decorated but attention to detail was poor. |

Proximity to the city and comfortable although fairly basic and smaller rooms than it looked on the internet Hall way when you entered very basic not very welcoming and stairs quite scruffy. Also the water particularly in tea was not very nice - experienced this at breakfast but also using kettle in my room so it may be the area - although attending a conference at the crown plaza did not experience this with hot drinks - think this needs looking into. |

The hotel had a good location in a quiet area with excellent tram facilites to the city centre and train station. We were upgraded on arrival and the bed was very confortable. There is a park across the street. There was a modern feel to the place which still had a traditional appearance. The exterier grounds needed a tidy up,due to the leaves.Parking is on street with permit. |

Warm welcome & efficient reception with stylish room of quality which makes this good value for money. Location of room makes a considerable difference to the tranquility of stay - creaking floorboards characteristic of an older property, passing trams, smokers congregating outside at picnic table can affect the experience. |

The room had a flat screen TV and really nice, classic decor. It was very comfortable. Although perfectly clean, the bathroom was basic and could do with a refurb - especially the shower which was tiny! |

The hotel was very pleasant and staff friendly, We were upgraded to a better room free of charge which was very nice, we enjoyed the break. Parking in the area was difficult, luckily we arrived in time to be given a parking permit by the hotel, but had we arrived later there may not have been any permits available. The shower could have been a bit bigger, but it was ok for a few days. |

Excellent value for money - very clean, room small with tiny bathroom but I paid £38 for a single room and it was the best £38 I have ever spent for hotel accomodation.Staff were very helpful when I arrived. No overnight staff during the week but I was there on a weekend so I could get a drink when I got back to the hotel late. Seemed mostly couples, no noise at night - all in all very good. Parking isn't brilliant but on check in I was given a permit which meant I could park on the road to the side. I had difficulty finding the hotel. |

The hotel was reasonably priced and in a good location for being acceible to the City Centre. The walls of this hotel were paper thin and you hear everything, doors opening/shutting, people coughing, toilets flushing and needless to say other guests would have been able to hear us - so forget the romance. |

The beds were amazingly comfortable! The staff were very friendly and I was made to feel at ease being on my own. The restaurant and lounge areas and bedrooms were decorated beautifully, and the dining chairs were very comfortable. If I had to be picky the carpets in the hall, stairs and landing could be improved to match the style of the rest of the hotel. |

The hotel room is quite new and the bed is very comfortable. Very near to the tram stop. Great. The heating has not been switched during the night. It is a bit cold in the room at night. |

Room had recently been modernised. It was small but more than adequate and value for money. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Parking was a problem but the hotel had visitor permits for on street parking and I did know about this before I booked, so it wasn't a surprise. |

I wanted a quiet, friendly peaceful, comfortable hotel while I moved my daughter into Uni and that is exactly what I got. I had one meal in the hotel and it was quickly and freshly prepared. Great value for money all round and will definitely come back. Much preferred this to the usual "large chain" hotels. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. |
