Conveniently situated, Premier Inn Wolverhampton City Centre is half a mile from Wolverhampton Train Station and Wolverhampton Bus Station, and less than a 5-minute drive from Wolverhampton town...
Score from 276 reviews Very good
The bed & room comfy & clean. Breakfast good.
The decor is tasteless. To get to the ground floor (where our room was), you have to go up 2 flights of stairs and down 3. Ridiculous!
Room available at 11 am
Bedroom a little tired
Hotel itself is fabulous despite the problems with booking in and checking out. The room was clean and comfortable, and very good choices at breakfast. Good location for Wolverhampton, Bilston etc and would stay here again (despite problems)!
Once checked in, found our room was already occupied. Receptionist (Sian) apologised and reallocated us a new room, only to find someone else had also been allocated the same room! Eventually sorted the room with complimentary champagne. Problem also checking out in that another receiptionist advised the account had been settled - we wanted to pay cash. Eventually sorted the problem but caused hassle on checking out!
Cleanliness is amazing. The lobby and decor is great.
Having to leave the hotel to go to the spa area.
Better value than holiday inn/travel lodge and much more comfortable. Not sure about the decor in the main bar area its a bit heavy, ( when you see it you will know what I mean) all in all a nice hotel well run and comfortable. Taxis 4/5 quid into town and a good stay for the race meetings. You might need sat nav for some of the rooms ... But I would stay there again.
I liked most of it... Down to personal taste but the glitzy bar area is a bit .... Loud!
Lovely décor throughout hotel. Welcoming staff. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Plenty of free on-site parking. Good location. Fantastic on-site Indian restaurant. Great breakfast.
Difficulty connecting to WIFI in bedroom.
Beautiful shower room
Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.
Nothing, horrible hotel.
The Ramada has a policy that if you complain that you didn't get a good night's sleep you get the night's stay for free. Because of this ridiculous policy, they have trumped-up over-zealous teenage immature security guards telling customers to quiet down in their rooms. We were there for a Christmas party and were treated like common criminals for coming in after midnight! I will NEVER stay at a RAMADA anywhere again. HORRIBLE and the Ramada should be ashamed of itself for implementing such policies that put potential monetary consequences ahead of actual paying customers.
Poor lighting in the bedroom.
We could not join the swimming pool because we were we our 7 month old son . breakfast very poor
Too hot Old rooms - needs modern decoration
refurbished room was very nice and the bathroom was excellent. Meals at Ajun resturant was brilliant. Great being able to use the Sports club....love it!!
quilts on single beds too short so they don't fit the width of the bed well when you are in it. some part of the body is always exposed to draught. Service from the kitchen is very slow.
As a whole the stay was fantastic could not find a fault.
location thats it !!!!!
myself and my familly have stopped in many ramarda hotels over the years and they have all been outstanding, but the staff at park hall have not got a clue about customer service one of the problems we ordered cold sandwiches and after me finding out where they was after 85 min i was told sorry we gave them away and we dont have any more UNREAL, STOCKTAKING IS NOT HARD for a company of this size there are many more issues, the place is a joke.regards
The situation of the hotel was good, the grounds were good even though building works were going on. All in all good value. The breakfast was really good and the staff very helpful.
I had asked for a room near reception but we had one a very long way from the main entrance. The room was a bit small but okay. Bed comfy but the pillow felt like resting your head on a brick.
all was very good and enjoyable
Great place to stay, being upgraded at the time of visit but not a problem. Great rooms and breakfast. 10/10
Beautiful hotel, would definitely stay there again.
Fantastic hotel with superb, clean facilities and a fabulous Indian restaurant. Spa facilities were also good.
the pool was very cold!
There wasn't anything I didn't like
we travel with our 9 year old disabled son and have never been treated so appallingly. our entrance to the hotel was via a back door fire exit at the rear of the building which was unlit going uphill past a skip, jcb, building materials and in through a fire door. the hotel find this acceptable. we were unable to access any of the hotel facilities without leaving via the rear fire exit, walking to the car and driving around to the front entrance of the hotel. also informed on day of arrival at 3.30pm in the afternoon that from that day children were no longer allowed to access or use the leisure facilities or swimming pool which was the main reason we chose this hotel. they did offer to let us not stay with them without penalty due to their new rule but having driven for over 5 hours and over 200 miles we didn't know the area and the only vacancy the hotel could find for us was at a motorway services! very misleading information as they describe their hotel as accessible, yes it is if you're happy to be outside in the strong winds and torrential rain we arrived in to go around the front to enter the main building and restaurant. managers attitude was terrible and told us we were the only ones not to like the disabled access they offered and that it had been fine for the last 6 years he had been there, didn't want to appreciate the situation from a disabled persons point of view at all.
Big room. Friendly staff.
The ceiling looked like it was about to collapse after from a water leak. The whole hotel looked a bit tired, needs a lick of paint.
The hotel was lovely and the room really good and spacious, beds massive
The staff in the hotel spa were extremely rude. Apparently the policy changed so no children could go in the pool, yet signs said under 16 were to be accompanied by adult . When this was queried friends of ours were allowed in. My son (11) however was abruptly told to leave the pool even though we had been told he was ok to enter. Price of the drinks at the bar were extremely expensive but changed during the evening
room size too small for couple and confusing floor levels
